I have never seen Ubisoft support a game for so long, I really like this aspect, hope they continue on like this with next AC game
The game hasn’t even been out two years yet. Ubisoft has spent 2 years on other games before too. They did the same with Odyssey, supporting it with updates for the two years.
They brought content and updates to Breakpoint for two and a half years. Admittedly, they tried some new stuff with the game at launch that didn't work out. I give them credit for listening and correcting those mistakes instead of ditching it like Anthem. Breakpoint really turned into one of my favorite games from them

I think what he meant is an Assassin Creed Title, normally after 1 year and two DLCs they are done, this is going on year 2 now.
They’re still supporting rainbow 6 siege 7 years later

Unfortunately we won't get any new content for the historical viking part of the game :( Loved the base game and the first two add-ons :)
Not entirely true. Ubisoft said they will release the final chapter of Eivor's story after Forgotten Saga. It will be later this year, most likely september. It will be a free update like this one. It's unknown what exactly happens in it but I believe we finally get to see why Eivor went to die in Vinland

It is sad that we are closer to the end of assassin's creed valhallas lifecykel. One of my favorit games, and probaly my favorit ubisoft game to date. Almost 200 hours in.

Bruh this isnt even in the top 3 ac games... and would not even make it in the top 10 of all ubisoft games.... All prince of persia and splinter cell and minimium 4 other ac games are ahead of this game...

How do you know the difference between a secret way to go then the main way to go especially if it's procedurally generated and it changes each time you play it

I've been playing the last 4 hours. Each time I die I go back to oidens camp and have to replay through each camp or group I killed. Is this a glitch? Its gotten old REAL fast
Is this only gotten from having the ragnarok dlc?
I wonder if we'll do any raids around Nilfheim with our crew. Any mylnas for us to raid. I know that Nilfheim is the realm of death and from what the videos shows us there won't me but I how we do. Like we did in Svartalfheim. I think we still might still be able to use the Hugr-Rip we got from Dawn of Ragnarok. I know we'll have to go to Asgard to start the Forgotten Saga dlc, but I still hope Odin can still use the Hugr-Rip in Nilfheim. And raid some Mylnas in Nilfheim as well.
Also, it's good to see Thor and Freyja again. Odin's son and wife are back. Wonder if they'll play along with us through the the Forgotten Saga DLC story.
This seems very very unique in a good way. Very excited to check this update out

Valhalla is my favorite game! However.. how does one start to play forgotten saga. Like do you have to read a letter or something to start the quest?
Reminds me of the Farcry 6 DLC which play as a session based 'rpg'. I'd also gather there is an attempt at the 'Elden Ring' formula whether they admit it or not. Definitely more arcade than the typical open world Creed mechanics.
Now that I think about it, this appears to include an expanded style of the dungeons found in Immortals Fenyx Rising. Ubisoft is not above adding game mechanics from one series to another.... Farcry Primal introduced the flying bird mechanic which afterwards showed up in AC: Origins and all Creed games that followed.

I've completed the DLC, got all the trophies, beat Hel multiple times but the quest is still showing on my quest log, how can I finish it completely? I've completed every single quest in the Game and would like my quest log to be empty before '' The Last Chapter '' drops.......

We should have to possibly to use the abilities of Dawn of ragnarok of we possess the dlc
How far along in the game does one need to be to play this new mode? They mentioned you must get to Asgard… is that early or very late in the game? I’ve played only 2 hours and the rougelite elements seem lot my speed, rather than all the cutscenes/dialogue/and massive open world.
Early you need to build valkas hut when its available
@@TylerMarkRichardson I just left his hut, but I finished that part back in early 2021 so I have no idea where I’m at. I remember taking some trippy medicine and having visions, but I don’t remember going to Asgard.

And there are people who want to see it. After all, more lore of an ancient civilization is revealed through mythology. This is much more interesting than another confrontation between assassins and templars.
It’s fun but you need to add more story if you complete the run, more than once. I finished pretty quickly and was looking forward to going back for more story but there was none :(

@@yevhenv do you just not get why it's in the game? the weird ball sweat potions that valka makes for eivor make her remember her isu life but it's themed like norse mythology since that's what eivor's familiar with and she just drank ball sweat. so she sees her past memories as these mythological visions. it takes place 75,000 years ago when the isu were a thing. I'm assuming you just have never played any of the games and are on some hate bandwagon. you should actually try them though cause they're really fucking fun. start with 1.

It’s one of the rewards you get including a full armour set that actually looks sick from completing the the saga or just finding it in one of the chests

Wish this was stand-alone so I didn't have to download the entire game again. Takes up so much space.
I suggest you only download it once in winter when the final update releases, so you can play everything new at the same time without having to uninstall the game many times

I love Assassin’s Creed, I really do. AC II was the first video game I played when I got my PS3 when I was a kid and I played every single game in the series. Be that as it may, are we really going to accept a complete copycat of God of War’s Niflheim mode and the series completely changing its identity, moving from historical accuracy to completely fantastical legends and myths? It doesn’t really sit right with me… hope what we have coming up is narratively more like the beginnings of the franchise, since a lot of what held it up in my opinion was the overarching narrative of the Assassins and Templars conflict, which was meticulously and accurately interwoven into actual real life history.
Origins was the best, Odyssey was ok, but Valhalla doesn't have anything connected to what AC should had been. It's light years from what Ezio Collection brought to us!
The next rumored game (Rift) is supposed to be closer to the original games.
needs a "story mode" option where players who just want to see the story don't have to bother with the rougelike gimmick of this expansion, let us use our own equipment from the main story, keep the abilities we unlocked from the main story, etc.
I’m kinda sick of the mythology parts of the game.. I miss a more grounded AC
The whole game is ground, and only a small piece of the game is dedicated to mythology.
