- Assassin's Creed Valhalla is about to pick up a brand new game mode/DLC called the Forgotten Saga DLC which is based in the realm of Niflheim. So in this video I breakdown all the new info about it and what you need to know including new armor sets, boss fights, map locations & lots more!

We've got a lot of new information about this Assassin's Creed Valhalla Forgotten Saga DLC to breakdown including lots of new images which will give us a solid idea/hint to what will be included in this otherwise known AC Valhalla Niflheim DLC.
We have new Boss fights including Hel, her helhounds, the Dragon boss fight called Nidhogg and the laser/scythe throwing muspel enemy called Hjalmgunnar in this upcoming Niflheim DLC.
We also go through some new map locations in this Forgotten Saga game-mode and some new visuals regarding the houses of each of the 4 regions in Niflheim. We also suspect that there may be a rune building coming to Ravensthorpe in the future and perhaps we'll know more about that at Ubisoft Forward on September 10th when Ubisoft will announce more information on Assassin's Creed Valhalla, a potential AC1 remake and Assassin's Creed Rift involving Basim.
For now though, it looks like this will be the next major installment in this live service assassin's creed game.

Finally got around to playing Dawn of Ragnarok and was actually pleasantly surprised. Very excited for this new gamemode!
Yeh mate! I'm not a big fantasy guy but I thought it was quite fun, even if the storyline was ambigious, I enjoyed it for the most part! Looking forward to this new free game mode as well!

Could the medallions point towards more replayable boss fights like the Valkyrie arena in DoR (either through NG+ or some sort of extra challenge)? There's a wolf medallion which could refer to Fenrir, an elk which could mean legendary animals, Order of Ancients tree which could mean the roaming bosses etc.
They could be tied to the final part of Eivors story or some proper rewards during a festival

This is pretty awesome looks worth while as far as playing as long as it has a reasonable length of time so it gives an extended feel of the Ragnarok dlc and yes it makes sense for enticing the players to make I purchase a not I without buyers remorse so they know what they're getting into

Although recently got the AC origins Gold edition for less than $20 so while I completed most of the main game still quite a bit to do with the DLCs and so far even having the Gold edition of odyssey I seem to have enjoyed origins thus far by comparison to Odyssey and Valhalla

I love Jor when and gave you credit two vids ago but didn't yesterday but you seem to give us more info than he has but this honestly needs to be like really good and needs to finally close all of our open ended quests becouse in-between this and breakpoint that took the unfortunate hit of covid but we need to finish strong and be better than breakpoint.

Definitely looks promising. I think I missed it. Can we not wear our own gear and bring what weapons we prefer to fight with? If not I probably won't be playing this DLC. Just like I don't play the mastery challenge's. I worked hard for what I've got, and I have a preferred style of play. If I can't use what I've acquired, then it's not for me. BTW great video. No, then this will indeed not be for you. A rogue lite game always want you to start from scratch an gather upgrades along the way, some of which you can keep after dying. But you won't be able to bring your favorite loadout into the game mode.

We think it's likely you will access those sets in Forgotten Saga but as a "one-piece" (like the Legacy sets were ) Not sure if they will have exactly the same perks as their Helix / DLC equivalents. Cheers

Hi can you please explain to me why when the 1.5.3 update came out, why did the fish I had in my inventory was just gone? Now I've gotta re-catch those things so any advice? I think it's stupid about the next dlc you die you've got to restart all over again and again til ya beat it and that could be until God knows when.... can't play Skullz & Bones due to the fact that they've decided it's only going to be for the PS5? These free content updates would be so much more meaningful to complete and do if the rewards weren't lazy ass reskins all the time and actually be creative and make new and unique weopons and armour. Ubisoft never push the boundaries and leave there ill suited comfort zone.

Ah, well for free content this stuff seems decent! I'm looking forward to more God of War Ragnarok and Hogwarts Legacy news and gameplay now. I think I'm done with Valhalla. Overall I felt a true viking game is what was missed with this entry into the AC universe. I hope some studio makes a game based purely on the viking saga with core mechanics from that era... @@eldonselmani6915 Absolutely. I do think Valhalla could have fit in some Kievan Rus material to help cover the Swedish-Russian side of things. We see a lot of Norse and Dane, but it doesn't feel totally complete. See Novgorod and help lay the foundation for the Rurik Dynasty. Raiding on the Volga/Dnieper rivers. But nope. Doesn't seem important to Ubisoft.

Even though I am a bigger fan of the older games I gotta say. This dlc looks great for Elden Ring :D. In all seriousnes this looks really cool and actually promising for a free dlc (unlike the first wave of mastery challenges) and I like the addition to Valhalla since it does fit Valhallas design and its Mythical story but it still doesnt fit assassins creed I am sorry

Don’t see the point of mastery challenges or rogue play especially when players have invested hundreds of hours earning their weapons and armour. Just ruins the game as far as I’m concerned and especially when players just want to see new game+

Baldur was killed and went to Helheim… Not Nifilheim. As prophecy goes Baldur will be stuck in Helheim until Ragnarok, and then he will return to save and oversee what is left of the 9 realms due to Odins demise.
