I did my lessons and tests on an 2020 MT09 and found it very uncomfortable after a while on my bottom. I bought the street triple R and find it so much better to ride. I suppose everyone likes different things.
I just put a down a deposit on a 2018 Street Triple RS. Test rode it two days ago, and fell in love. Its so good. Just gotta fight my bank to make the deal go through.

By all accounts this is a great bike for the money, The KTM is cheap n chintzy!! and ready to explode at top-end with a boomerang exhaust and a Lady-bum head light !!. The Mt-09 is bags of fun but has had early rust issues.!! The Street sound 100x better than the above with a slightly sporting feel. Great tool if you don't mind the pair of Bol*cks for head lights grafted on as an after thought ?? Humm choices choices ? " Test ride guys and follow your heart 💓"
675 is a great bike don’t get me wrong but when I got the 765 street triple definitely is more snappy of course and doesn’t feel like anything is missing power wise but I’d you want scary speed just get an r1 lol
I’m a wuss!haha I did just see sneak peak of the speed triple 1200rr today though..tempting. Sadly I only got a minute of the tuono footage before GoPro died. I did order mic adapter though 🤙
If you were riding on hills that triple would leave the aprilia behind hands down. You never even tried to pass him cause your bike is a 1050 hence you didn’t give him any feedback on the tripple. You just said “what do you think about my bike?” Btw woozies always ride behind. No offense intended
@@monty-9269 I haven't ridden a mt09 but I do have a 2020 RS, it's ok max would definitely be able to pull 2nd gear wheelies with ease. I will say the street triple is boring under 8k rpm. Slow even, I was expecting more after reading so many rave reviews, but you can't judge a street triple on a old 675 r version like this video is doing
@@benfarr6049 I like both bikes, triumph seems alot smoother and more refined in a way and Yamaha on the other hand is a little cheaper but alot of character and reliability but yea I love triple cylinder bikes 👌💯
Agreed I own a 2018 rs and test rode the 1100 v4 factory their closer with the 765 but still nota chance but for more urban daily conditions I took the rs and the track ability of the rs is absolutely insane with good rubber and a set sag

Not a fair review...Street Triples excel at twisty roads and medium sized tracks, then you'll see what it can really do.
I have one. They're kinda heavy and not as flickable as the Japanese bikes I've owned in corners.

agree 100% motor is great in mt09 but it was uncomfotrable comapred to this bike plus the street handles very well.
@@jerryx2000 you cheeky sod. The seat was a lot firmer than my triumph. If my bottom was too big I would have plenty of cushioning would I not 😜

I have a 2016 Street R. Best bike I’ve ever had. So flickable. I can whoop my mates asses round the twisties.
