    The narration was very off putting. Stop saying seven hundred sixty five RS and Speddy and Streety. It’s weird. Or not. It’s your Chanel.

      Agree. “Seven, six, five” and “Twelve hundred” would have been sufficient. Or just “Street” and “Speed”

      It’s an AI translator. So it’s taking the original German narration, and translating his voice to English.

    Thanks for the english commentary. This confirms what I have heard from all the triumph owners, they all pretty much said the same thing, which is the street is the better more fun bike. Its more engaging, more agile, more fun more usable.

      Not knocking it, but try a speed. I test road the 765 and wasn't that impressed and I have a 675r too. Just didn't feel it was significantly better. I just feel the 765 gives up too early to enjoy it at faster speeds (think highway to get to those fun roads). The Speed just does it all, haul a passenger, no problem. Pull a lower gear, Yep no issue, Just a preference from the smaller bike. Don't get me wrong, my 675r is awesome around town and tight turns. The 765 did handle great.

    As someone who has owned 3 Street Triples (2018 R, 2021 RS, and currently on a 22 RS) for most decent riders, who want a decent amount of power with a track focus, get a Street.
    Nothing against the Speed but the Street is a weapon.

    Great comparison, I had a Speed Triple model 2023 until recently and I had to return it after a year due to the constant failures it presented, it overheated too much all the time and expelled the coolant under pressure and several errors appeared on the screen, I had to put a complaint and now I am in the process of changing my motorcycle and I am going to change it for a Street Triple, since it is a more usable motorcycle in the city and it does not get as hot, I hope it does not present problems like the other one, it is my first experience with Triumph.

      Interesting bit of information. I currently have a 2024 street triple 765 rs. Fairly loaded; full spark exhaust, rapid bike fueler, 520. Chain conversion, rearsets etc. Bike is real balanced and real quick in the twisties. I was honestly thinking of trading her in on a speed triple 1300 rs. Why? the street doesn’t feel fast enough, and I’m accustomed to a liter bike. Based on your experience, I might just keep my street triple.

      @@RadDadisRadmaybe dropping -2 in the rear will increase top speed. It feels like I’m always looking for another gear while in 6th. Tops out (135ish) real quick.

    • @RadDadisRad
      @RadDadisRad 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ridepastu1418 I’ve hit 141 on mine. My biggest complain is 3rd gear. It’s not that it needs more gearing but more rpm. It’s bouncing off the limiter at 90ish, it pulls really hard and then it’s on the limiter. I’d bet that the bike could use nothing 2krpm in limiter with at least 1krpm being useful for revving out the engine. I feel like Triumph is holding back on giving it more rpm, I bet every gear would benefit from more rpm.

      All vehicles are usually referred in a feminine perspective. We always say "she" when referring to them. But I agree calling them "sister" may be a little cringe. May be saying "Sibling" would be better.

    I’ve owned prior gen Street and Speed Triples. My very first bike was a Street Triple R and I graduated to a Speed Triole S. Loved both bikes but for as a 6’ 200 pound rider, I preferred the Speed because of the extra weight and how stable it felt on the highway particularly in high winds. Both are great bikes! Triumph just announced that cosmic yellow will be offered in the Speedo so that very well could be my next bike!! 💛

    On the street the 765 is so good and easy to ride. The 1200 is so fast its kind of unusable when your on the street day by day. Crank the throttle a hair and your at 100 already. On a 765 you can work on it and play with it.

      I haven’t ridden the Speed Triple so I can’t exactly compare them but I can say that I love my 2021 Street Triple R. Pretty usable powerband, comfortable (but not on rough roads, the suspension is harder than my old 2009 Street Triple). The lightweight helps in the parking lot and for tight maneuvers. Accessories are abundant and it has been pretty reliable so far. I do however want to ride a Speed Triple, I like the newer ones but the older 1050 Speed with the underseat exhaust is on my to ride list. Hopefully you find the answer you seek. I community daily on my Street Triple.

      The Good; Reliable, quick around town and fast enough on the freeway, plenty of aftermarket parts and community support, Revs high but not too high (I had a GSXS750 that revved to 10k and for some reason I felt like that was to low. 12,500rpm is it the sweet spot for me personally, when the run starts I have a few more RPMs left). The LED lights are good, has Hazard lights which was new to me, easy easy to lean into corners, makes you feel like a pro even if you are not (because I certainly am not), stock mirrors are decent, look wonderful, brakes are wonderful, more than enough braking power, stock quick shifter makes the bike even more fun on the freeway (but can be clunky at low speeds), rider modes are helpful in bad weather.

    • @detricklowe624
      @detricklowe624 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The Bad; Handlebars can be buzzy from time to time. Triumph heated grips work intermittently. Quick shifter is clunky at low rpms (but that doesn’t matter to me, its smooth when I really pushing it and at higher rpms), can’t change rider modes on the go (it changes when you stop), oil dipstick (I miss the window from my GSXS750 sometimes).

    I have a '22 Speed that I bought used with 800 miles in 01/2024. I've put 4000 miles on it since then. I use it for commuting/hooning and absolutely love it. I have never ridden a Street but the Speed is plenty agile and goes 84 mph in 1st gear, lol. The ride can be a little harsh, but it really is dependent on the type of bump. Otherwise, it rides beautifully smooth and stays connected with the road at all times. The brakes are absolutely amazing. One finger braking is totally doable on the Speed. I find the handling of the Speed almost telepathic. It does what you want it to with ease. I had a new 2006 Suzuki SV650S back in the day and the Speed honestly reminds me of that bike in the handling department. I was blown away the first time I rode the speed at how light the entire motorcycle felt. Several people have even commented "That's a 1200?!?! It's a small bike".
    I've thought plenty of buying a Street but I think I would just keep coming back to the Speed because of the extra power and I don't have an issue with the handling.
