- Mustang is a Cobra Clone 2v Full borla catless exhaust , tuned, fenderwell intake, couple other minor things unsure of.
GXP is k&n hot air intake, tuned and straitpiped. Havin a little fun with my old man! Enjoy the slowness 😎

@@quintonnava1441 because the 4t65 trans in them isnt that good, and a lot of people have problems. i suggest getting a trans cooler and shift kit. look at the shift kits from Transgo they arent that expensive. they strengthen the failing points of the trans and make it easier on shifts to make it last longer. do u have an ss?
@@nick0164 Its a 02 base with the 3400. Just a daily driver cuz the foxbody drinks too much gas. I will look into it thank you.
@@quintonnava1441 oh then u should be fine. u shouldnt need a trans cooler because you aren't pushing a lot of power, but a shift kit should still be helpful and save it potentially

Crazy stupid of GM to not put in the stronger 4T80E from the FWD Northstar Cadillacs for this more powerful engine.

It’s definitely not a cobra which is why it’s titled as mustang GT not cobra. Honestly A GXP can run with all the SVT cobras minus the terminators and cobra R’s . I bought a terminator and sold the GXP , had it for 4 years now, it’s a beast of a car.
Lol hot air intake, isnt nice that they routed an uninsulated intake over an exhaust crossover. Love the car, but my cooler just clogged and torque converter blew its shaft seal.... I guess it could be worse, it still moves just empties itself.
Yea I def loved the car but they are plagued by that shitty transmission .
@@cornball303 Next time my transmission goes out im thinking 4t80e. It went out FOUR times during warranty and 1 time since. I just redid the head gaskets and its running like a dream @ 170k but that trans is always in the back of my mind even with the trans cooler and shift kit

When I sold mine the 4t80e was being talked about a lot but only a few had done it back then, I’m sure there’s more info on it now and will def hold up better. I did the shift kit and trans cooler too and it was still letting go on me before I got rid of it

Well in this case it does. Base Grand Prix make 200/220hp gt/gtp 240/260hp. Gxp 303 hp. Up badging does give an increase in hp
I live in fear every day worrying about this damn transmission, even the NA 3800s like mine were known to grenade them after a while, this one just needs to last one more week before its replaced with a built one so i can go turbo, leave it to GM to shove a supercharged V6 and V8 onto a transmission that was designed for nothing bigger than the anemic 3400
