And for the first time in my life I’m growing a beard and it’s almost all white! Lots of grey in my hair too. I can’t wait for my first ponytail! Haha.

I like your hair at all stages. You groom it well but I must admit I really like it long. The length it’s at now is my favorite. It’s probably more of a hassle for you but it proves that as we age men can wear their hair at any length you just have to take the time to care how it looks.

Glad I found your video. My hair is pretty similar to yours. I do have a number of cowlicks so longer is better. I usually keep my hair short however I decided to go longer last October, which was my last haircut. Tomorrow will be around 6 months and I will be getting my first trim to clean things up. I am a bank executive, so I was concerned how much longer I can go and how to make it still look professional. Your video has given me hope that I can keep going for awhile at least!

You look great ! A well groomed beard and well styled long hair looks nice! I’ve been growing mine out for 6 months now. Looking to get it long enough to put into a pony tail. I'm about 5-6 months progress behind but long enough now (late 30's, first time ever growing it long) it's always called out by friends/fam, and I can put it in a pony-tail effortlessly. Loving it TBH, obstacle now is going from oow to employed and keeping it. Keep up the good efforts!
Hello Greg. I think the cut you had planned with Andy would be a good look for you: Shorter beard and keeping the hair long. It's something to look forward to when this unprecedented time is finally over. Be safe and well.
I love the cut Jake gave you almost 2 years ago. It is classic! I looked up to you for your beard, hair, just overall style for some time now. When the hair was getting longer, I just didn’t feel the same. It may sound stupid. As an older gentleman, you do know style. I can understand wanting to try something different with the long hair, and yes, it is beautiful hair, but I love the classic taper barber cut. You are lucky to be able to do so many things with your hair. I only have mostly the beard to work with so I definitely look up to Beard Brand to help with the videos and such. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Appreciate all you do. Rob from Michigan.
Rob, Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Short hair, long hair, shaven, stubble, or full-bearded - we've got you covered at any point in your grooming journey. Keep On Growing. 😎 -Sly
I love your long hair! I think it's suits you the best. I'm growing out my hair and i have to say you are my favorite "long hair person " for tips and styling.
I've been growing out my hair for 16 months now. Growing it out alongside Greg has been a fun experience! I was also planning on going for a shorter barbershop cut before quarantine life. Alas, we continue the long hair journey for now!
Im 9 months (03/16/21) into my hair growth journey and I feel its going rather well. When I started it was for two reasons, 1 being the shut down/quarantine, and 2 being laziness. But now looking back on the journey, and hearing the confirmation from those I'm closest too, longer hair in the more intermediate length is probably where I will remain whenever it is I decide to end this journey. My hope however is to be more motivated in styling when preparing to leave the house, instead of just throwing a ball cap/beanie on. Even though this video is approaching a year old, I still look forward to watching and learning more about techniques to style when it almost seems un-manageable in length and thickness
It looks good long. I started to grow mine 2 months ago because of the virus lock down. Then I looked on you tube to get an idea of what it would look like. My hair is much the same as yours as I grow it. I am a 51 year old with grey hair and a grey beard. The colouring is much the same as yours but maybe my sides are whiter.
@PATRICK MAHOMES MVP 2020-2030 wow genius, which shampoo ? how to dry ? towel ? airdry ? hair dryer? which brush ? before shower ? after shower ? when hair is wet or when dry ?
It's simple. Without shampoo, air-dry it with a towel. Then, use a brush with bristles and hair dryer it. You can either do this before the shower when it's wet or after when it's dry. Doesn't take a genius.
Your mid length is the best look for you imo. You are blessed for natural waves and how your hair and mustache turn white/grey. They are almost intentionally highlighted.
Im a teenager who follows Beardbrand So that im not screwed when my beard actually REALLY starts growing in as i get older. Looking at my father i think i should be prepared for that. (Right now im rocking a solid chin strap as 17 year old😂) So my opinion might not matter, But i have a similar nose as you Greg. Longer, Fuller hair fits better to match proportion to the face for both of us. But i got my hair cut just before quarantine. Shorter hair isnt a bad look on you either. It’s clean and sharp. Longer hair i feel like is a more suave or “Sexy” look if you would. So really it is up to you what you do next. But i do have a suggestion. What if you went with A barbershop cut and a short beard? I feel like u could pull it off with the style you have to carry yourself. Just a thought?
You look like a very good looking man in all the variations or stages of hair growth especially when purposefully stylized, but I think it looks best at that clean, smooth barbershop short hair length you had at the beginning of this hair growth journey. Your bone structure, your eyes, your combination of short haircut to longer straight beard is very exceptional in such a way, I’m extremely jealous. I can not wait until I have my combo down in the next several months myself. I’ve got a decent beard now and fairly good looking hair but no where near the caliber you had at the barbershop when you started. I’m about 8/9 months away from that goal.
Good stuff Greg. I am a little younger than you and have a similar mature hairline with pretty thick hair and you have inspired me to grow it out. I was always a little self conscious about my hairline because while it's still pretty low, the temples have gone back a bit. But thanks for showing that an older guy can still rock long hair
Honestly, I love having long hair on myself. I get some shit occasionally, but honestly, it looks and feels awesome. Your hair is awesome! Prefer long but you can pull off the short, Bond cut
If you do cut a good amount of your hair (at least 8-10 inches), you can donate it to a variety of organizations. My most recent hair donation was to Children with Hair Loss, and they were incredible. Your hair looks great at any stage!
Love the photo and length at 12:32 February 2020. It's your personal choice and decision, but I'd say rock the long hair until nature says you can't (though at your age now, you may be safe, even if it does start to thin slightly). You can just maintain the length you have now. I think as a rule, it's tough to pull off long hair past shoulder length for men. Unless you're in a metal band where it's not so much about aesthetics, but sort of expected to have very long hair. But....what does your wife and family prefer?
A year or so looked the best on you in my opinion. I also like the pompadour style though it seems to be everywhere along with the bald fade. Whatever makes you happy is best.
I loved the February 2019 and December 2019 look. You have more flexibility in terms of diversifying your look for different occasions in both of these time frames. I’ve been growing my hair out from relatively the same length that your hair was when you originally cut it. July 2019 was when I got my last actual hair cut and I’ve had one trim up since. I’ve come to really like my long hair, but like you, I’m not sure at what length I should stop growing my hair and maintain a specific length that I feel gives me the most flexibility and the best look in general.
That was fun....big fan Greg....my beard is the longest its ever been right now...just shy of 6 months growth...enjoy the daily grooming, but its beginning to become a little cumbersome for lack of a better word.....I'd like to see Andy cut your hair in her new shop when that time comes....thats an easy 5 million views =)
I took my dream job a few months ago and had to cut my hair after 3 years of growth and beard was at about a year. I finally had it where I wanted then got the offer of a lifetime. Unfortunately I have to wear a respirator and long hair can interfere with safety of my job so it had to go. Maybe in 25 years when I'm ready to retire hopefully I'll still have some hair growing on my head to do this. Oh and I found out that I looked pretty good with a mullet and mutton chops.
I haven't cut my hair since the end of August 2018. I am donating it to Hair4Kidz and they want at least 8 inches but most girls ask for 14 inches so I am waiting until it hits that length before donating it. You should definitely consider donating that to a charity. Especially one that gives it to patients for free.
Greg, You look Great with Short and Long Hair. I think my favorite look was the summer of 2019. My Wife referred to it as your Grizzly Adams look. I look forward to all Your Future Plans, Looks and Videos. Much Love & Blessings to You and Your Family ❤️❤️🤓🙏❤️❤️
It has been interesting following you Greg. Adventure to see the differnt styles through the years. Also Moses, Vikings etc. To my opinion you look better with longer hear and beard, than the short cut.. More options too..
Greg...I think that your hair and beard are BEAUTIFUL!! In my opinion I think that you should keep your hair and beard as it currently is. I wish that I could be so lucky with having nice hair but I am not. By the way, your a very handsome guy and I hope that you do not mind comments from other guys.
Hi Greg, fantastic look growing out the mane and beard over last 21 months. I'm sure the redhead wont allow you to take it much longer. Im already getting some grief with the beard, (from my redhead) growing out at only three months. My intention was to grow out the hair as well but wow, i did not expect so much push back from the family. Im your age too and have considered doing some beard modeling but would need some guidance going down that path. Im not much of a social media guy, but i do enjoy your content. Let me know what you might recommend as a starting point. Really digging the content. I do have some beard brand products on the way for Christmas! Not sure about Temple Smoke though... Is there a way to sample the fragrance before I order the lot? Thanks for reading my comment. Mike
The problem is: you look super young with no beard and short hair, yet you look super cool with your beard. I think the best idea is to let the beard grow, then trim it off and grow it back while keeping your hair barber style all the time. Cheers from Poland!
Trim the beard significantly, down to where it was @ the 2-5 month mark. Grow the hair about 4 inches; it's still medium length, and will hang a lot differently with the extra weight. At that point, you can remove any excess density with texturizing. A mild relaxer for about 10-12 minutes can work wonders, too! Bottom line, it's an either-or: full hair or full beard. Too much real estate otherwise, IMHO.
Greg,u just look awesome in that beard and long hair.. I wait for your video eagerly, koz I have also started to grow my hair and beard and for that I always look at you.But it's been 3 to 4 months that I started to loose my hair a lot, quit a lot of products, but in vain...and can sea salt spray reduce the hair fall????

Hair looks great now IMO, and styles in ways we don't iften see. Would be great to see how it looks with a more trimed beard.
How neat! I've seen Greg's barbe videos, however never the mane! Cool addition
Agree with Greg - aside the fact that he looks great no matter what, I think he looks best with that 10 month medium length.
I liked length you had when you said your hair started being the focus, also I liked the length when you wore that flannel in this past winter
Your hair is cool! At whatever length you have it.🔥
Im going through this transformation right now. Thank you for sharing!
A year or so looked the best on you in my opinion. I also like the pompadour style though it seems to be everywhere along with the bald fade. Whatever makes you happy is best.
Greg, I have mega patchy beard and bald. So I’ve gone for the polished look.....literally . You can’t put in what God left out . You look great tho🙌🏻
I personally like your facial hair at the 5-6 weeks mark and your hair at the "going into Fall of 2019" length. 🤙🏼
He is really talking about his beard, amazing!
love the amount of hair coming outa your chin man. don't give up.
Greg, you have one helluva head of hair. Well done, man.
When I get grey I will definetly grow a beard and long hair. It looks amazing.
You will go bald first like most men
Men should never ever color their hair..
Don't cut your hair. I'd like to see you go for 3 years of growth.
Nice hair you and trav should make a washing tutorial for long hair and how to comb it when it’s wet
That might be a long video!
Greg Berzinsky yeah definitely because for me my hair takes hours to dry*
Greg, You look Great with Short and Long Hair. I think my favorite look was the summer of 2019. My Wife referred to it as your Grizzly Adams look. I look forward to all Your Future Plans, Looks and Videos. Much Love & Blessings to You and Your Family ❤️❤️🤓🙏❤️❤️
why people keep asking us "when do you get a hair cut?", wtf!...
It has been interesting following you Greg. Adventure to see the differnt styles through the years. Also Moses, Vikings etc. To my opinion you look better with longer hear and beard, than the short cut.. More options too..
Love both the long and short looks....
I think you should keep the long hair maybe let it grow for another 2 years
Greg...I think that your hair and beard are BEAUTIFUL!! In my opinion I think that you should keep your hair and beard as it currently is. I wish that I could be so lucky with having nice hair but I am not. By the way, your a very handsome guy and I hope that you do not mind comments from other guys.
Love 4:33 - but long & short looks fabulous- a change is always nice👍🏼
This is what you call a man. Doesn't matter in what angle the picture is taken, he looks outstanding. 2:40 pic's
Love your hair now. I'm on month 13 on my hair really loving it. My fav on you was month 12 and up. Love the content thanks for making.
7:53 Keep that look forever, its perfect.
this man should be an actor
Trim the beard significantly, down to where it was @ the 2-5 month mark. Grow the hair about 4 inches; it's still medium length, and will hang a lot differently with the extra weight. At that point, you can remove any excess density with texturizing. A mild relaxer for about 10-12 minutes can work wonders, too! Bottom line, it's an either-or: full hair or full beard. Too much real estate otherwise, IMHO.
When your hair is longer, are you using a blow dryer? What sort of product do you use?
I vote for a shorter beard and keeping your hair long: gorgeous!
You couldn't look bad no matter what hairstyle you choose Greg...
They all look great on you. :)
You look great in the long hair 😍" like a boss"😎😎
