I tend to be a low key guy when it comes to colors, flash, etc. However, the more I look at your car the more I wish it were mine. So well done and just fits the car. Classy, professionally done and drool worthy.

As a JCW F57 owner... I wish they did have fog lights!!! I like the foggies, something always seems a little “off” having a MINI with two front lights lol.

I LOVE my 2014 Cooper S. Such a blast to drive. Thanks for posting and giving them such a great review because they really are a great car and very well made. Every time I drive mine it makes me smile! And of course it is a manual has to be in my opinion to get the full experience of driving a mini. I have added so many things a bytetronik tune, boorla exhaust, black out rims on front and rear and a few other little mods. I have definitely made it my own. That is the other thing about mini is no two are the same because you make them your own.
Amazing car man. Mine got a cracked transmission case. Pretty pricey repair. Hoping to get a new countryman if I get totaled out. Minis are awesome. Keep the videos coming.

Congrats on the new car!!! I am finding out in this day and age I am having a time finding the right Mini at the right price.
Obviously I've gone back in time to see this video, going on a similar journey with my F55. Having owned nothing but "dad cars" since I got my license, I really feel like I'm getting back to the old days of car modding. It's so easy to go OTT with this car though. JCW suspension, JCW Pro brakes, JCW Pro exhaust, Eventuri intake, the list is long and expensive. But for the first time, I feel connected to my car as a love affair and not an investment, so to hell with the bills, I'm having fun!

WOW! Once the de-chrome is done, and you've done the tinted glass at the back, along with fitting (I hope) a black rear diffuser and bonnet scoop, this is going to look better than anything I've seen anywhere. You should also consider losing the grey stripe and maybe doing a de-badge too? It will fool the masses, but not those "who know". Great find, great upgrade, great video, and great fun. The Miniac and The Bandit....should be a great love affair.
@@TheMINIac We all know that whatever Mini you drive, it will never be boring. Sorry, didn't realise the stripe was your choice. Are you going to paint the brake calipers red, or change them to a red variant? Red would really "pop" under those glossy alloys. All in good time though....no rush.
I got my first mini in January, a 2015 cooper S 3dr in Thunder grey and I can honestly say im hooked now and even more so after the few little things I've done so far.
It's definitely a car you get in and turn into a big kid and I've never had a dull moment in mine so far 😁.

@@TheMINIac for the future - remus sports exhaust bluetooth modbargains for 799USD right now. And this from me having the JCW pro exhaust. For now tho - the JCW exhaust is plenty. Maybe a downpipe to your current JCW exhaust?

Just quick question can you make video about your Dinantronics tuner how it’s work how you using the phone app and more can you ? I am running on mine Clubman Race chip and I am taking him off and Local Mini dealerships will install the Dinan for me. Where you get the tuner from ? The Dinan website or from your guys at Outmotoring ? I believe it’s going to be better performance and satisfaction for the $$$

Nice man! I actually just picked up a 3rd gen too (2 door hardtop mcs in brg) a few weeks ago. It's a great car. I kept my r55 too though. It's not worth much anymore, and I'd rather keep it than basically give it away.
The MINIac yeah for sure. My laurel has been paid off for a few years now, so it worth keeping around.
Hell Yeah bro. I have only owned one car for 8 years now. My 2002 Mini Cooper r53 with an upgraded supercharger and an electric water pump (installed myself) also had to do the clutch and flywheel myself. Stock was about 140hp now its pushing 200hp but I wanna do more. What would you recommend my next upgrade be? I was think hypercooled air intake and an upgraded intercooler
@@TheMINIac thanks man! That's what I was thinking. my stock supercharger went kaput because of the issue Mini didn't wanna fix. I have a Sprintex supercharger designed to fix that issue (which is why I have the electric water pump) and a better tensioner unit which is what gives it more HP
Why take the traction control and DSC off when you are only driving on the road? Is it fashion ?

I was looking into changing out my F56 intake for the Eventuri carbon fiber. It’s about $1500. What do you think about the system?
Eventuri also now offer a non carbon version for less. Scoop still carbon. Listen to the audio clips as it's not for everyone, and it's really icing on the cake. less $$ more impact with a downpipe

Does the cooper S works come with the same brakes as the JCW?

Not sure whether to just go practical and go for a 2016-17 cooper or just go full tilt for a 2016-17 cooper s works or JCW. Ideally I was looking for an S but they are harder to find in a nice colour scheme etc and the JCW seem to be only marginally more expensive.

@@TheMINIac Still in between choosing a cooper and a cooper s/ s works. If you had the standard cooper would you want it with the ASC or not important?
@@TheMINIac I'm coming from an r50 but have driven an f55 albeit a one D lol, unfortunately the r50 might finally be dead so looking for a natural progression.
Apparently the ASC + T system is like a virtual limited-slip diff that can add braking on individual wheels during cornering and adjust the valves where as DSC is active at all times whilst driving (my understanding). In a review it said it was available in the JCW sports pack and also on all S and above models as standard.
Prob not necessary on cooper but might be nice to have when its wet or even icy as it is now..

The S with the JCW tune maybe the sweetspot of the F56 range. Just paid for a rotor/pad/brake tune on my JCW and will be eating ramen for months.
As for the JCW tune kit. They come with the ECU flash, valved exhaust, rear badge, and two official decals for under the bonnet: i see the 'programme update' one above the DINAN tune on the underside - theres also a 'tuning kit # one that goes on the removable engine head cover. Might be worth getting your dealer to get a new one to replace that if the prev. owner removed it/replaced the cover.
Theres also a known issue with the earlier bluetooth units that open the valves. Apple watches/iphones mess em up. Look for an update if you have issues there - or just disconnect and leave perma open. Outside of sport mode makes little difference.
