    This is the biggest project I have taken on, The bike will be completely stripped down to the frame, the engine will be removed for new piston rings to be installed, the wiring harness is going to be rewired and the entire bike overhauled, ready for spring 2020....I hope.

    Ryan Winters makes replacement trim caps ;)
    The rear driveshaft is available, but some VS800 owners have been buying them, making a modification of some type & using it on their 800 Intruders

      @ i get that 100% I havent been able to make videos for my truck in over a year. Bee. Saving up to buy a house. Finally pulled the trigger in November! I have a sweet idea though because I am doing a custom look. I dont have any stock air boxes so for the side pieces that go above the rear airbox and over the coils. I am doing custom fiberglass covers! Ill update you on those when it becomes closer. Also. Doing the moto gadget upgrades!

      Hi Dave, thanks for your kind words. I wish I could positively answer your question, and while I think that it is relatively thensame, I have not performed this work on the Vol800 so couldn't guarantee it. But I'm sure you'll figure it out!

    Hey, man! Thanks so much for all of these very informative videos. Do you happen to have a part number or link for the gasket that you mention at about 1:50? I can't really pick it out from my manual or on the website I'm looking at. Cheers from Michigan!

    Hi, question: connection swingarm to the frame. Is there any bearings? As I had made hardtail and when I put shocks it didn't move much, so, do I need to lub something there or need some new bearings to buy? P.s. mine is 700cc but I believe is the same 😬

    Do the front bearings always have seals when I drove my bearings out there were no seals and the new bearings I purchase come with seals the bearings fit fine but but the seals would be too big to go in

    •  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Which bearings are you referring too?

    •  3 ปีที่แล้ว

    •  3 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @antoinog7597
      @antoinog7597 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@triinujuurme7302 I just tightened it up and it brought it together I think that's a normal thing because I put in a spacer and it just wasn't right .

    So ive watched a few vids on how to remove the rear wheel and they all remove the entire shaft assembly to take off the wheel, but in your vid you removed the axle and the wheel came right off without removing the shaft first. so i guess theres no need to remove the shock and shaft assembly in order to remove the wheel?

    •  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Correct my friend. Remove the rear brake and the rear axle, and you will be able to remove the rear wheel without removing the shaft.
