Such high quality on par with channels with 500k subs yet you get so little attention! Criminally underrated!

Hi, great video as always! I like the correlation between exercises idea, as no other content creators test it as you do. It would be interesting to see the correlation between Overhead Press and Handstand Pushup or One Arm Chin up and Weighed Chin Up. Cheers and keep going!!!

🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 great ideas!! Don't know how I hadn't thought of those! I can take care of the hspu now, but I need to clean up my oac a lot 🤣. Appreciate you a ton, seriously thanks so much!

This and your 3 year transformation video are some of your most entertaining videos yet

I guess most of your subscribers are beasts. This video does nothing for folks like me who can't do any. Even still, it's nice to put yourself through a good thought experiment once and a while.

Thank you for the video. It was really innovative to use a weighted vest to simulate a lower level of strength, and it was also cool that you used multiple methods to test the 10 pull-ups = 1 muscle up claim. Congratulations on 1 thousand subs and best wishes

Hope you enjoyed! Let me know if there are any other myths that you know of that need testing! 😁👍

Great video! A question: is losing weight important to train for a MU? Or should i focus on strength? I eat fairly clean, i weight about 150lbs average. I've dieted pretty intense and went down to 138lbs back then. I am definitely stronger at my current weight, but i still struggle with unassisted MU. Please advice!

Thanks! So #1 priority is being explosive in the pulling motion as much as possible. If dieting/losing weight seems to help you with that than go for it, but I wouldn't consider it a main focus. Little things like timing when to pull in the start of them movement, having a strong over grip, and over all understanding the pulling pattern will be helpful if you're getting close to achieving it. Going to be making more muscle up content soon here with more in depth stuff but this should help put for the time being 👌🏻

@@John.McIntyre im doing explosive pull ups on resistance bands as of now. But without them, i could only do pull ups to my chins. Ughhhhh!!! 😩 looking forward to your new MU video! Subscribed

Good Stuff. I can only do 3 pull ups, but they are weighted ;) #dadbod

Hopefully I'll still be able to do these when I've got a dad bod 😂

This may be a bit of a wild card but two years ago I was able to do 2 muscle ups but could only do 6-8 pull ups in a row. Then again I weighed 155 lbs. and I'm 5'11. I'm your best friend's cousin so you'll probably remember I'm kind of a twig... Or at least I was. I've gained almost 20 pounds of fat since the lockdowns. 😂 No way I could do muscle ups now.
