I think in specialty coffee there is a bit if a tendency to geek out on numbers, the reason I got in to coffee in the first place was the positive vibes and interaction with customers, and making sure everyone was having a good time. I'd take that over knowing my coffee had the perfect % extraction any day. ❤

For some reason the "IMS Single 10g" does that very good look and is perfect, however the 18g I also have is a total pain in the ass, no matter what I try "Tamp, No Tamp, Finer or Coarser..." it never fully cover the whole bottom surface. It has a perfect color and taste good but it's very uneven and definitely not correct. I dunno if I might not have a defect...
