Thank you. Last time I recorded Wafo vs Decent basket using trendy 6 bar pressure but the results were inconclusive. Next week I will do blind test VST vs Pullman vs Wafo. Not sure which profile but I am leaning towards turbo turbo. My go to profile I use daily now is LM leva.
I would add a new basket to this: The Weber Workshops unibasket is an amazing addition to my Linea Mini machine. The 58.4mm all-through bottom design ensures that coffee comes out beautifully, producing a super balanced taste. The basket is easy to clean, although the coffee puck can be a bit difficult to remove. The difference to the standard basket is definitely noticeable. I love the unibasket, but I would think twice about spending that much money again.

With the high temperature and the amount of water you shot through the coffee I'm surprised it's not bitter and over extracted!? I'd think that profile might be better with a lower temperature but maybe it works with a good light roast. Crazy high extraction #s! I'm guessing you haven't tried with a paper filter on the Pullman?
Thx for watching. I don’t remember exactly but the shots were very drinkable. Sometimes it can get bitter but often it is just right. I would recommend you to try it if you can. I have tried some tests with paper filters but wasn’t sure if and how it changed anything.
@@mycoffeeshow111 I've been using pullman with paper filter lately but don't have the Weber unifilter anymore to compare with (sold it). I think I was getting less channeling with the Weber with paper filter somehow but also changed my WDT tool and coffee so who knows heh. Paper filter does need a finer grind size and seems to extract more potentially. I think edge extraction seems better using paper filter on the bottom vs not using it. Just judging by the look of the puck.
@@mycoffeeshow111 Someone else needed it more than I, for product testing, and were willing to pay good money for it, I might get the Weber Buck (naked) portafilter and basket or the Pesado HE instead with the CANAL Seatle portafilter that looks similar to Webers! The AutoComb might be coming in a few months I think. If it doesn't come by NOV 1st it's free apparently.
Hmmm, no straight answer here. Each can shine in its own way, depending on the coffee and style of shots you pull. In every day life, as long as you have a good grinder, you should be happy with any.
Thank you. You pay for novelty. Once they become popular the price should go down. I don’t say I don’t like this basket, I just can’t get over the price plus delivery plus duty tax- you can get a grinder for that.

Would be curious if you had done paper filter on the Pullman and ended up in a similar grind setting and flavor profile.
I had some issues ordering the paper filters but they should arrive eventually. If there is an appetite for that video I will record it.
Between VST, Pullman and IMS Baskets which would you say is the better brand of basket to use?

How many steps finer do you usually go from the Pullman to wafo using the niche zero?
I sold my Niche Zero long time ago. It will definitely be a bit finer. If you normally go for nr12, try nr 8 and work from there.
I've really enjoyed the pullman basket, im just having a hard time justifying 200 for these cnc baskets.
