*When a state is run by uncorrupted government, you get a growing development.*
💯
Really? Jam here, jam there. Getting to one location takes more time than if you just walk. Parking fees insane. RM10.00 for some private carpark. People holding public parking for themselves.
syok sendiri 😂
"uncorrupted"
Yeah about that
This is amazing, hope the LRT project start soon… for better Penang 🎉
U are not going to get good ridership on the lrt with half baked public bus services which inevitably will have to provide the basic First and Last Mile for the lrt to work.
Buck up on our bus services first or lose out.
Terlalu mantap ,always thinking and form a alternative for better penangites !
Jobs well done, thanks to the penang state government 👏 👍 😀.
Ni projek JKR. Projek federal. Kuasa kerajaan Negeri buat PBT jer. Sapa pon kerajaan negeri, jalan ni tetap dibuat

Can skip Lebuhraya Thean Teik, Batu Lancang and Green Lane is already good enough., However once the road ends at highway, real jams begin
Totally agree.
Only the BEST for penangites!
A state government whose main soul purpose is to bring GLORY to our beloved home, PENANG !
Kudos!
Keep the fire glowing !
A bypass is really not the answer to Penang's traffic woes but improving our bus services n infrastructure at the same time limiting cars on the road is.
Our poor bus services is the reason why car usage is increasing exponentially.
good idea which almost everyone also know and can propose but will it really work? I don't think so... would you want to walk to bus stations and take a bus? Not me...your own opinion doesn't represent others preference and may not be the actual solution either...you see Singapore, do they rely on bus? Isn't MRT better? Which Penang will get LRT soon as well...
@@kevinyeoh7612
The reason why most still unwilling to take the bus is because our govts has always given it a low priority compared to private vehicles thanks to Mahathir and his car centric policies. Made worse by state govts which also don't advocate n push for public transport. As a result we have First and Last Mile(FLM) issues, poor walkability and bus infrastructures which does not make it a viable alternative to driving private vehicle. Even with an LRT/MRT you will still hv to depend on good bus feeders and connectivity to make it work. Sg had her bus services at top notch level way back on the 80s and was already the envy the world over. Can't compare.
Poor frequency, reliability and connectivity of our busses are other issues which had been endemic in our public transport system. Until we resolve these issues, situation is going to get worse.
@@aaronchong7087 My comment is also based on my experience after I went to Singapore and get to taste their public service transport. Unless you get a place which is really near the MRT station, you still need to walk fairly a bit. And to travel from one place to another place using MRT, if it's far, it's not really that convenient. Also, imaging doing sports and after that need to walk and wait in MRT station... maybe it is okay for you but no thank you, i still prefer my own transport, even driving my own bike is much better than taking bus/MRT... in my opinion, the solution can go hand in hand. Bypass still go ahead and then can also go for LRT, which fingers crossed will happen for Penang soon. Imagine with public bus and also with the bypass, even better!
One bus can carry 60-70 people, but we have majority of drivers in singly occupied vehicles on our roads.
So who is causing the jam?
Because of poor public transport each household unit is having 2-3 cars on average. This logically is unsustainable not to mention we living on this tiny island.
On the other hand, our public transport modal share remained at a low less than 5 %.
U may not be aware, but in Sg bus ridership has overtaken trains in terms of ridership
Jia you Chief Minister Chou Kon Yao.
tq for the update, but dekat minit keberapa the terowong is ?
Good to see Penang develop towards 2030

And penang bridge will be more and more congested during peak hour... where is the underwater tunnel?
Other state governments need to learn from Penang and Johor government
That's over 60 kmh to cover a distance of 5.7km in 5 mins,
Malaysia standard road speed limits are 65 km/h
60kmh is very slow. Basically can reach within 5 minutes
Ayer Itam stuck traffics every morning , i hope the bypass can make it tunnel and bridge as multi fast lane through to the airport and penang bridge. And don't link to the industry area, otherwise it becomes top priority for all the workers using this road everyday causing paya terubong mountain 's existence becomes meaningless. btw Penang still getting more and more development 。 Thumbsup
Mohon YB CM cadangkan juga jalan alternatif baharu di Seberang Jaya dan Seberang Perai.
Would be better if d video shows the beginning fr AI to the end wth a small map side by side
When LRT will start construction ? Hope it will be soon....
And roughly how many more years to have it completed and able to use? Please enlighthen us, thank you.
Target completed and open by 2025
@@yoshigolaw112 wow.. thats pretty soon.. cant wait to see its completion. Thank you for infos
they should stop vehicles once the 1st bridge is jam and divert to 2nd bridge

The crazy people did not show up and protest the project development?
So many trees removed, come wet season when u experienced flash floods u ll be thanking these 'crazy people' 😂

This is treating the symptoms not the disease.
Money shd hv been channeled to improve our busses n public transport infrastructure instead.
