- Overview development progress the new bypass connecting Lebuhraya Tun Dr. Lim Chong Eu directly to Bandar Baru Ayer Itam in Penang.

New bypass from Ayer Itam to Lebuhraya Tun Dr Lim Chong EU
It is expected to cut travelling time for 40 minutes to 5 minutes during peak hours and it is toll free
This bypass total length of 5.7km
Total distance 5.7km
Grade 2.4km
Elevated 3.3km
This new bypass consist of 4 interchanges comprise Jalan Thean Teik, Jalan Bukit Gambir, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah and Lebuhraya Tun Dr Lim Chong EU

Appreciate the update, but honestly I find the video shoot kept repeating and not bringing viewer from Ayer Itam to the coastal highway, which is very confusing to see the video repeating back & forth, not a good way to tell the story. I hope admin will improve in the next video update.

mungkin selepas nie boleh buat jalan di area balik pulau plak.. untuk hubungkan jalan dengan lebih luas dan cepat.. selalu jem di puspakom, sungai batu, dan sepanjang laluan tersebut.. mantap..
May I ask... I have travelled to Penang many times for holidays. Is this area mainly housing and condos? Would there be anything of interest to me on this route? We normally stay in GeorgeTown, Batu Ferringhi or near Straits Quay. Thank you for your work.

It connects the main highway of the island to Air Itam area, which is known for Kek Lok Si Temple and Penang Hill station, and a shopping mall too called Sunshine Central which is opening by end of this year

Recently there is many small particle of dust appear inside the floor house near the Island Glades area (can see very obvious dust on the surface of the car as well). Please take some action on this before there is a protest on this project.
Ayer Itam needs to be developed.
projek sebelah seberang perai banyak ketinggalan, jalan jem jambatan pertama ke perai bertemu lebuh raya PLUS. ada tak cadangan bas harian dari pulau ke seberang utk laluan jambatan pertama selain feri.
patut buat terowong je la, ni dah teruk sangat da hancur lereng bukit tu. sedih
terowong akan banyak hancuran lagi besar terhadap bukit tu, terowong bukan terbuk lalu jer, lagi complicated lagi.
