Lemy disappoint you. L4D2 is 32 bit what limits memory allocation at about 3GB, modern PC's has a 32GB of RAM. So you need own really old PC to do so.

Yeah, Every single mod you use on l4d2 or either gmod, Mods always uses your ram or either cpu, Using too much mods might wanna make your ram cry for help.
If you have like 16gb ram, You're good to go and can run mods or games perfectly fine, But if you have a 8gb ram like me, Well i'll just tell you that you can use up to like 50 mods or 60 mods, And some games won't run too well because they use GB's of your ram and cpu.

This is essentially what everyone would have been happy with for L4D3 I mean obviously way more polished than this but maybe with infected with the level of detail like the RE2 remake and with more modern guns maybe even a little customization but the same gameplay style. As someone who's never delved much into modding, I know I may be asking a very stupid question but, has anyone ever done a total conversion mod on L4D2? Like I'm talking a COMPLETE total overhaul, turning the game into a cyberpunk robot slaying horde co op shooter with enemy encounters and maps all built from the ground up, has this ever been done before? L4D2 is such a damn smooth game and screams out to me as a great starting point for a total conversion mod project
Not sure about total overhaul.but definitely there are cyberpunk survivor skins and weapons. Have a quick search in the workshop for l4d2 may find what u need

It just goes to show that the original Left 4 dead games were technical marvels and ahead of they're time. We have yet to see another co op zombie Fps recapture the flare that these games had. The newly updated world war Z comes pretty close. But left 4 dead's formula was a landmark in gaming.

That's why Valve created the stem deck. I truly believe Valve might come out with a full on gaming console in the next console cycle generation to compete with Xbox and PlayStation and id imagine that a Left 4 Dead 3 will be its console exclusive. All they really need at that point is a gamepass model similar to Xbox and they might be in competition.

Nobody needs a helmet camera mod. Do you know any gamers who would like to not see parts of the image while playing and also want to see through a view-distorting circle?
A lot lol this video + my 500K view plus video and my other ones combined over a million people watched and with over 70K people watched my installation tutorial for the mod as well. The point is not wether people care to watch a game played in distorted view, the point is people have discovered that it's possible to play one of the best zombie games (imo the best) in a completely different perspective. A lot of people actually came back to this childhood game again because of these videos
