Nicely done, Lee. Good patience at the end with the re-flash. Congrats on not losing any of those little screws. 😄
Cheers chap, 2tb all the way...... 😀
Excellent video and work. I don't have one, but I will save this video for when I get one. Thanks for sharing! A must watch!!
Cheers chap, saw so many posts about this I just had to see how hard it was going to be
Nice informative video mate .. Ssd all the way these days 😊
2tb should ne considered the norm with games regularly over 100gb
Very helpful video. You could probably even repurpose that 512gb drive in an extra laptop m.2 slot or something. One thing I always do if I get my storage off of Amazon or anywhere else is verify if it's reporting a legit size, I use f3probe in Linux but there are other methods. I'll probably upgrade my 256GB Steam Deck at some point but I'm not in a rush. I'll refer back to this video when I do it. Good thing NVME is getting cheaper all the time.
Absolutely, the 512gb ssd can be used in any supporting pc motherboard or even an external enclosure, I received my ssd from SCAN computers in the UK so I knew it would be a reputable source, however, after the video steam went through 3 updates before being finally ready to play ( this was automatic and didn't take long ) After this was complete I did check reported space at 1.86tb, which is to be expected for a 2tb drive
i need help i followed every step i clicked on the usb but it just stuck in the steam logo
Did you try rebooting with the usb in ?
