the older 35xx is so perfect in my country most new anbernic ones cost 80$ after shipping and taxes, 35xx only costs 50$ (because of 3rd party resellers) and does 90% of the things rg505 still selling for 120$ so could be nice alternative to retroid pocket 3+
I'm all about the Miyoo Mini Plus because I love the feeling of the d-pad and buttons. There's something so smooth and appealing about them. I had a 35XX and the 35XX Plus but just didn't like the controls nearly as much.
Nah, you can literally buy the Miyoo Mini at any number of resellers. I purchased a Miyoo Mini v4 last week from Keepretro and that was one of many retailers I could have selected.
I'd say it is worth waiting and finding an og mini if you think the size is nice (I do). But if you can't wait, the mini plus is identical performance and still quite small.

Heck yes!! I'm still using my original 35xx. Really depends on what you're looking to play but I 100% agree you don't need the newest and latest to have some great fun.
I literally just recorded a video about my rg351p talking about how it’s still a solid device even 4years on lol, what’s also great about these older devices is that the firmware for them is complete and there’s no need to wait for updates like the new devices.
Good video. I just want to add that, if you are into CRT shaders to emulate that retro aesthetic, half of these devices are not capable of doing that (some later Anbernic devices have gpu's to do that).
Hi Adin. Great video. Been watching your content loads recently it's brilliant, thank you. I've had my 351p since about 3 months after it came out after watching Retro Game Corps review of it. It's durable, lovely screen, comfortable controls, great firmware options, decent sound, lovely dpad and yes GBA is stunning! I've watched hundreds of videos on new handheld since and I'm just at the point now where I feel it might be time to upgrade. Interested in the RG556 as its affordable and plays some ps2 and Gamecube. With my 351p I've lost one of the grips on the back and the headphone jack doesn't work anymore. Other than that it's still terrific. Had so many games on it and it plays so much so well. I've now got complete rom sets for the gba, gbc and original gameboy loaded on it and it's just wonderful. Good for mame and final burn neo too. The danger with this hobbie in my experience is you can get hung up on incremental upgrades, tinkering with your device and yet the joy is in playing them! There are hundreds upon hundreds of games you can play on a 351p and play well, I have had the device for years and not even touched the service of what it can do. What is the point of having a durable, well built handheld if you 'upgrade' it 3 months later with Anbernics new device with a minor upgrade if not identical chip set?? Play the games and love them I'd my advice. I have an Android TV box which plays up to Saturn all set up at home which is cool. I use my handheld for when I'm out and about and on holiday and it's become my best buddy 😊. I will save for something ps2 / GC capable but in such a competitive market prices will drop to affordable levels (just starting now) so I'm gonna keep playing the enormous library I have at my disposal until I can afford a proper upgrade. Happy gaming and love your channel Adin!
I can definitely vouch for the RG351V and the RG280V, they remain two of my favorite devices. I think the RG35XX original also strikes a great balance of build quality and affordability. Something about the 280v is very special, though--I think it's the balance of size but good controls. My kids are drawn to that one, too. It's a great size to just toss in your bag or pocket and can play everything I care about, GB/GBC/GBA/NES/SNES. The buttons and dpad especially on the 280v feel really good to me, almost SNES-ish.
Very smart and useful video for a market extremely saturated with new releases! I am still happy with my RP2S despite all the new releases: I'll consider a change only if anything with same build and controls quality, a chipset able to run smoothly up to PS2, and a 3:2 screen will come out. Ayaneo Pocket Micro seemed close enough, but I don't like its buttons positions and the triggers...
The weird thing is retro handhelds really hold their values well, which makes reselling them a joy, but also does make buying an older one really tough, unless you get a used one off facebook MP or a retro handheld discord. with the price of rg5xx family and miyoo mini+, a bit hard to buy older handhelds when these are more powerful at a similar price range, or cheaper.
It's amazing what you can get for $50 or less. Everything up to PSX+GBA in your pocket, decades of the world's best games, with modern conveniences and nearly complete libraries.
The other day I picked up my Retroid Pocket Flip and I was reminded why I like this device. It has the same T618 chip as the RG405M on the video. Difference is it has a clamshell design with a 4.7 inch screen in a 16x9 ratio. I thought about selling it but it plays many games well such as full screen PSX, PSP, does some 3DS, about half of the PS2, some GameCube and even some Wii games. Sadly Retroid does not sell this device, but I consider it still a good device even if it’s aged a bit. Overall, you can still have a great time with older handhelds and you don’t always need the latest device, thanks for posting this video.
Yes it is very sad indeed. I think they wanted to get away from shipping that hinge. But I agree, still a great device. Maybe I should make a video "Classic Emulation Handhelds that you can't buy" :-)
All of my devices are kind of old and I’m new to the hobby. I really enjoy it when all the CFW and stuff is already figured out. I got my XXSP the hour that it released and I love it, but every step of the way I’m like “SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE THIS PERFECT ALREADY!” All this to say, I agree that there is a ton of value in older devices.
These are Some amazing handhelds you picked. I personally believe the 405M is the greatest retro handheld that has been released so far. It’s really unique with its 4 inch 4:3 screen that looks amazing. If you’re like me and want your games to really remind you of how they were when you used to play them this is the device to get. I got mine slightly used with gamma OS already on it for like $110 on eBay so you definitely can get a deal. I also have the miyoo mini plus. With these two devices together, I don’t think I will ever need anything else. They really complement each other. Great video!
If you want to dip your toes into the emulation handheld scene and you're working on a budget, there really isn't a better choice than the RG35XX H. Is it the perfect handheld? Of course not, but for its super low price, it does a lot things right. It also doesn't catch on fire.
I thought so, then mine stopped functioning the third day and RMA with AliExpress has been a very bad experience. If you prefer a larger screen and stacked triggers, you can't ignore the rg40xxh vs rg35xxh.
You have been smashing it with these great topics. I totally agree, especially if you like Linux and lower end emulation. I love my 405 M,with that premium feel, playing Fahrenheit was a pleasure to play. Again awesome discussion bud🔥👌🏾
This is a great idea for a video. I've gone back to using my RG350M and RG300X. The 350M just feels so good in the hand, and although the screen is a bit warm and desaturated, it still looks good. The 300X is so nice and light with big buttons. Both devices have a premium feel to them.
@@adinwalls I picked up the black one for a bargain. It looks really great and kinda special with the screen being flush with the front of the device. The screen has a bit of a cool hue but otherwise has pretty accurate colours and decent saturation and ppi. I didn't get that green tint that some of the review units had.
i think the problem of Anbernic is "lack of quality and durability". i have bought 351mp and than 1 month after, the key is error. truly dissapoint it and never going to Anbernic again.
I love the setup here as it is very easy to forget about some of these older devices that can often play a decent amount of systems/games as well as having more options to apply your favorite vetted firmware.
Totally agree - the RG405m is fantastic and holds up so well. It's one of my main devices and think they did such a good job with it. The form factor, build quality, and performance is great.
Im still a huge fan of miyoo mini+. I still think its the most seamless experience with OnionOS. To this day I havent found a better OS on a handheld and most of these new handhelds still cant play past *some* n64 games. Even RG35xx original with GarlicOS is my close second.
Howzit Adin, a fellow Saffer here, I came to this channel after watching some of the Dweeb of Tech...so thats a thing! Anyways, I got my first emulation device last week, it only took just over 2 weeks to recieve a shipment from Aliexpress, I bought a Miyoo Mini Plus, retro colour as it should be. I know, our post office amd customs in just over 2 weeks? I was shocked as well 😂
Nice, im from SA aswell and i have to say that is impressive. Did you have to pay customs duty on it? have been wondering about that. i only own a cheap 3000 in 1 type handheld my wife got me of temu and would like to get one of these at some point so i have been wondering whether or you have to pay and import duty?
Welcome aboard! Ya I have noticed an improvement with the postage. Although I still don't understand how I can ONLY get a parcel if I have their SMS. Not sure why I can't just produce my drivers or ID. Anyway, let me know that AliExpress reseller because my rule is not to recommend them to South Africans
@@adinwallsI got it directly from the Miyoo Mini Official AliExpress page. I was working out at sea for a few weeks so I didn't mind the wait, I expected it to be longer. Oh...and I produced my ID, I never received an SMS. I received an email from AliExpress. It's my perfect buddy to the Steam Deck😊
@@adinwalls I made the purchase off of the official AliExpress store, so no reseller. I never received an SMS, I ended up using the AliExpress email and my ID card to collect, so that was pleasant.
I had to sell mine because of the screen resolution and I don't understand why more people don't talk about this. Granted it's not really important in games but when navigating android or in menus, 480p at 4" just doesn't cut it, it looks terrible.
The 351p was my GBA handheld for the longest time until I got the TrimUI Smart Pro. Not only does GBA look better on it but it also plays mostly all PSP games at 2x resolution. You can get one for around $50 USD. Also agree with you on the RG280v! Such a great little device and I still carry around with me.
@@adinwalls It comes with PPSSPP version 1.17.1. Before launching a PSP game, press X and be sure to select 1.17.1 OpenGL or Vulcan Performance mode. You have to make adjustments in settings on some games but most will run fine @ 2x/30fps. @Archivers has a couple of good videos on it!
Shot out to the 405m it such a premium device and the first retro handheld I bought it was pricey but the better buttons mod is great also gotta have gamma os though . I got the mm+ and rg35xx after the 405m .
Not even the 3+, I'm still using my retroid pocket 2+ lmao, just finished paper Mario 64 on it, amazing little guy. Loosened the screws on the board and back of the console and the buttons are SO much easier to press, too! Should've thought of that years ago.
@@adinwalls I was mostly meanig just based off price. I was able to get mine for $28 free shipping. But I do agree the Anbernic devices are probably the best along with the retroids
@@adinwallsYes. Not perfect, but good. Just be careful when buying. There are some knock offs of the knock off that have a less powerful chip (looking at you, R35S/R36S "Plus" ).
I've seen a store try to sell the old square LDK for over $100 when no other store was selling it. The newer devices do more for the money. The powkiddy v90 was/is almost same price as the powkiddy v10 but it couldn't do ps well though
@adinwalls it's all good, I bought an rg35xx h I'm excited for. Turns out the charging failure is common with the 280v. I liked mine while it lasted for 1 year.
Ah no. My advice is to just be ruthless about your needs. If you want horizontal. Cancel out all the verticals. If you want a 4:3 screen, remove all the other screens etc.
The RG353P is by FAR my favorite device; the ergonomics are fantastic especially the triggers and bumpers feel so smooth The power of the chipset is just about right for my retro gaming and the screen is nice and sharp… this device would have been better only with a 4 inch screen like the RG Arc Adding Ark OS is just icing on the cake and makes it perfect for me
While I absolutely agree with the sentiment, it's not as simple IRL. The resale market is typically overpriced, mostly because the brand new prices of the older devices hasn't dropped, and because of people that don't know any better are way overpaying. I believe you had one thing wrong, though. The RG35XX+ is a little more powerful than the original. Everything after the RG35XX (Plus, H, SP, even the 2024 version) has the same, slightly more powerful specs.
Awesome video that is right up my alley. You don;t neccesarily need the latest and greates to have a good time. Often the Model that just released last year or in Anbernic's case last month is cheaper and bascially just as good.😁👍
Agree 100 percent. Got a 2 rg35xxh for 98 bucks shipped including tax. One for me and one for a friend. So lets just say 50 bucks. For comparison as a child i remember my fathet buying me the 8bit nes double dragon game for 50dollars. 50 dollars back kn 1989 is like 90 dollars in todays money. So a "cheap" 50 dollar handheld that isnt perfect but with thousands of games is totally cost effective to me.
I wish the RG351V had the power to play Dreamcast and Saturn... and I mean all not just a few titles. I only own the RG350 and the V90 and their still the same price.
Awesome video Adin! I really appreciate videos like this, showcasing various retro handhelds for various use factors or situations where they shine. This video is exceptionally useful for helping to spread the retro handheld love around, to help inform people of what they could be gifting to friends and relatives, to induce the nostalgia and fun from their younger days. And this video is exceptionally informative for people new to the retro gaming scene, yet also helpful as a refresher to people who are already in the retro gaming scene as it reminds and summarizes what the unique selling points are for each device. On another note, why do you recommend the RockNix custom firmware over ArkOS for rg353p/vs?
I got second hand retroid pocket 2s in same price of rg35xxh in my country (Aliexpress get banned in my country, so retro handheld is pricy in here), and i think it one of my best purchase in this half year.
Disappoints me every time someone mentions 3:2 devices and doesn't explain that the KTR1 is the best one. 3:2 screen at 1080p is stunning! Great video as usual though.
You can save money by buying a odin 2...i own one yeah its not cheap by any means but practicality it is the end game of emulation for a year or two....or many more...i just stop looking for another handheld....btw i own a myoo mini plus too...i got that before the odin 2..
My first entry into handhelds was the RG350M using ADAM. Still one of my favorites to play for on the go for PS1 down, only wish it had wifi and a bit more power, as some PS1 are just too much for it, ie NFS games. Have been waiting for the RG353M to drop sub $100 to replace it, but alas it doesnt appear thats going to happen. Also have a RG351v, which has wifi and power to play the PS1 the 350M cant using ArkOS, and that one is also excellent for a vertical.
I bought an RG351P used only for 40$ wich is INSANE!!! I only use it for GBA wich is perfect because of it's 3:2 screen. And I like horizontal handhelds more, don't like clamshell.
Not watched it yet (this vid) but do you mention your 350m purchase? Similarly late as mine I think, which was a week or 2 before the 351mp was announced! Just, spontaneously bought not one but two Switch Lites and then a tonne of used games on carts, thanks to CEX in Truro, Cornwall (UK) when visiting my parents from Norway. The pink Switch Lite for my girlfriend was from there, so also used. Got myself a purple one from an independent game shop in the town where we met at Uni...claiming to be new, but I am suspicious if that is true...but in "as new" condition. Actually less than the "used" one from CEX. Very exciting addition to what I enjoy doing on my 3+ & 35xx. A 2+ and that 350m not getting very much love at the moment.
Very good video, especially with all of the Anbernic devices coming out these days. Interesting that you bring up the RG405m. As someone who’s moved on from 3.5” screen devices, I bought the rg405v as it was significantly cheaper. Do you prefer to use the V or the M? For the 351/353 devices I far prefer ArkOS over Rocknix and for Android I’ve gone with Beacon Launcher over Daijisho as development has ceased. Going forward, I’ve sold off many of my devices to get an Odin 2 and keep a few 4” 4:3 devices around (including the RG ARC for Sega). It’s just so much easier to maintain. All the best.
Hey, yes the Odin 2 is excellent, that's a good plan. I really enjoyed the RG405V and it is a bit cheaper but I already had so many vertical devices on the list! haha. But I do think the RG405M is better if you can get a good deal
I really, really don't get the knife thing. Sure, it's a youtuber, or rather 'unboxer' thing, but using it as a pointing device while demonstrating things for which we pay extra money to protect their screens seems excessively reckless, not to mention kinda threatening too.
The RG405M is not cheap though, especially considering the RG Cube is in the same price bracket. Pretty overpriced for what it is imo. I'm starting to get weary of Anbernic, we need more competitors factoring good QA in their products. Quality over quantity I say.
The RG353M gets slept on the most. Probably Anbernic's best handheld device. No widespread screen issue that the 405M had, still has HAL joysticks, premium metal case, good dpad and buttons, and great pocket factor.
Yeah but this goes way above the budget of what would be a considerable "money saving" handheld. This console has always been and still is expansive as hell, when you could be buying a newer one like the 35XX H for essentially the same thing minus the metal frame.
@@IzaakMyersit’s only $114 plus shipping. The 35XX H has half the RAM, slower CPU, worse buttons and no HAL joysticks. It’s lighter which is nice but does not feel anywhere as premium as the superior RG353M
@@DQ333 dude I know, no one is saying the 35XXH is better than the 405M. But the topic of the vídeo is about saving money by buying an older handheld instead of a new one. But the 405M is not a budget handheld at all, there's no money being saved here by buying this older model when there are plenty newer ones that would get you more bang for your buck. You're missing the point if you're thinking "it's an older devices so it should be recommend in this video about older (cheaper) devices"
I’m looking for something that can play Pokémon fire red or soul silver as well as some arcade games. Like king of fighters and Nintendo games like Zelda and Mario games. Any suggestions?
I'm supposed to upgrade from Rp3 plus. But since the development for Citra, AetherSx2 and Yuzu got shot down, I didn't end up getting an odin 2. I might still get one but for Android games like zenless zone zero and wuthering waves
Well this was more of an older device video although I guess the Arc is a bit older now.... Actually you make a fair point. However I am planning a dedicated Arc video soon
i buy the r36s for the gameboy vibe and the roms. Above ps1 like psp, vita, ps2. . . i suggest you guy just use an old android. playable most of them + a controller. stay away from this money pit, you guys will thanks me later for this.
Aiden my friend I am a big knife guy before the retro handheld scene was around and used to get lost down that TH-cam rabbit hole, but I must say everytime I see your knives it's like XU10 category, it will cut but it's not pretty, for your video sake you should get a nice Benchmade or Microtech. Love you and your videos, not trying to be dbag just a suggestion and I believe you might enjoy that hobby as well, those knives can be very figgity and fun especially OTF knives.
Hey man. I'm really at the beginning of knives. A local guy sent me some links too. I had a very specific look I wanted but I only know of artisan knife makers in North America who make them so I will wait until I can arrange that.
@@adinwalls yeah I'm not sure what kind of laws you have there(only really matters if you get caught carrying out of the house) but just thought it would be sweet to see you click open a Microtech or spidey flick a Para3 once in awhile
Meanwhile I'm happy just having an Enlan Bee and a couple Sanrenmus. Under $20 total spent for all three, and it fully addresses all my folding knife needs basically for life.
Can I start by saying that I love the video very appropriate topic. But I disagree with the RG353V versus theRG353VS, I honestly believe having the android option is worth the extra money, but that’s a personal decision. Again, I love the video thanks and keep them up.
Save money, be friends with a handheld addict like myself and wait for them to give one away to you
Haha something like that

It’s really unique with its 4 inch 4:3 screen that looks amazing. If you’re like me and want your games to really remind you of how they were when you used to play them this is the device to get. I got mine slightly used with gamma OS already on it for like $110 on eBay so you definitely can get a deal. I also have the miyoo mini plus. With these two devices together, I don’t think I will ever need anything else. They really complement each other. Great video!
That's a great combo
Hey thanks man
Wait? Which Game are you talking about?
This is a great idea for a video.
I've gone back to using my RG350M and RG300X. The 350M just feels so good in the hand, and although the screen is a bit warm and desaturated, it still looks good. The 300X is so nice and light with big buttons. Both devices have a premium feel to them.
Ooooh the 300X!
Agreed. Probably not the best device to start a "save money" video, in hindsight but anyway...
@@TheTechUpdate-ui1fh I paid a flat 15% on the purchase, I was very happy!
The 405m is fantastic.
We should have gotten a cheaper plastic version tbh.
Yes thats true
I had to sell mine because of the screen resolution and I don't understand why more people don't talk about this. Granted it's not really important in games but when navigating android or in menus, 480p at 4" just doesn't cut it, it looks terrible.
@@alexdcpe i really liked it after i installed gammaOS
The 351p was my GBA handheld for the longest time until I got the TrimUI Smart Pro. Not only does GBA look better on it but it also plays mostly all PSP games at 2x resolution. You can get one for around $50 USD. Also agree with you on the RG280v! Such a great little device and I still carry around with me.
What firmware are you running on the Smart Pro?
@@adinwalls CrossMix
@@adinwalls It comes with PPSSPP version 1.17.1. Before launching a PSP game, press X and be sure to select 1.17.1 OpenGL or Vulcan Performance mode. You have to make adjustments in settings on some games but most will run fine @ 2x/30fps. @Archivers has a couple of good videos on it!
Hmmm maybe I need to revisit it. I knew it was going to age well I just haven't had the chance to look at it.
Shot out to the 405m it such a premium device and the first retro handheld I bought it was pricey but the better buttons mod is great also gotta have gamma os though . I got the mm+ and rg35xx after the 405m .
I love your videos. I think spend more time watching them than playing games. I need to fix that. Gotta get playtime into my consoles
Haha, I'm okay with that
Not even the 3+, I'm still using my retroid pocket 2+ lmao, just finished paper Mario 64 on it, amazing little guy. Loosened the screws on the board and back of the console and the buttons are SO much easier to press, too! Should've thought of that years ago.
Oh cool, good hack
The rk3556 series of anbernic are definitely one of the best overall handhelds. They play old 3d games pretty good.
Tried, but the Odin 2 didn't get any cheaper in the time since release 🤨
I was really surprised to not see the R36S in this video.
Hey man that device isn't that old and I don't think I would recommend it over any of these.
@@adinwalls I was mostly meanig just based off price. I was able to get mine for $28 free shipping. But I do agree the Anbernic devices are probably the best along with the retroids
Oh right yes my thumbnail focusses on the price aspect. I also haven't tested the R36S. Is it any good?
@@adinwallsYes. Not perfect, but good. Just be careful when buying. There are some knock offs of the knock off that have a less powerful chip (looking at you, R35S/R36S "Plus" ).
I love this. Even since getting my RG35XX and RG556, my RG351P from 2021 still gets some rotation, especially for GBA.
It's really still the best dedicated GBA device for me
I've seen a store try to sell the old square LDK for over $100 when no other store was selling it. The newer devices do more for the money. The powkiddy v90 was/is almost same price as the powkiddy v10 but it couldn't do ps well though
The miyoo mini is like $200+ on ebay 😂
I got mine for like $60 on Amazon
@@arey256 You got the plus not the original
I dont recommend the Rg280v anymore. That thing failed hard on me. It no longer turns on and wont charge.
Ah sorry man
@adinwalls it's all good, I bought an rg35xx h I'm excited for. Turns out the charging failure is common with the 280v. I liked mine while it lasted for 1 year.
Been looking and searching lots of handheld devices recently and now I'm experiencing choice overload crisis
Ah no. My advice is to just be ruthless about your needs. If you want horizontal. Cancel out all the verticals. If you want a 4:3 screen, remove all the other screens etc.
The answer to "Just get a Steam Deck, bro!"
The RG353P is by FAR my favorite device; the ergonomics are fantastic especially the triggers and bumpers feel so smooth
The power of the chipset is just about right for my retro gaming and the screen is nice and sharp… this device would have been better only with a 4 inch screen like the RG Arc
Adding Ark OS is just icing on the cake and makes it perfect for me
Hey there, I gave it a meh review but I am finding myself recommending the RG40XX H alot, the screen on that thing was pretty good. bit.ly/40xxAdin
They're not even cheaper than the new stuff best case to show it is the A30 vs the og miyoo
Hey I am inferring in this video that people get these on sales, not full price
Still shocked that most retro handhelds still aren't more powerful than an anbernic rg280v, my first retro handheld.
Great tips!😉
I had a thing for Dreamcast. Meaning that nothing less than RP3+ could satisfy me.
Honestly, I have an RP3+ that I barely use because I have plenty of fun with my zazbizzle and r36 and my first run rg35xx
😊 awesome
While I absolutely agree with the sentiment, it's not as simple IRL. The resale market is typically overpriced, mostly because the brand new prices of the older devices hasn't dropped, and because of people that don't know any better are way overpaying.
I believe you had one thing wrong, though. The RG35XX+ is a little more powerful than the original. Everything after the RG35XX (Plus, H, SP, even the 2024 version) has the same, slightly more powerful specs.
Awesome video that is right up my alley. You don;t neccesarily need the latest and greates to have a good time. Often the Model that just released last year or in Anbernic's case last month is cheaper and bascially just as good.😁👍
Exactly that was my thought here
Agree 100 percent.
Hey I generally prefer Rocknix but I know a lot of people like ArkOS
I’d love a miyoo mini but the plus is cheaper!
Yup, I think the Mini was actually a device for a video about collector's items
I got second hand retroid pocket 2s in same price of rg35xxh in my country (Aliexpress get banned in my country, so retro handheld is pricy in here), and i think it one of my best purchase in this half year.
Wow that's brilliant. Yes if you can get a cheap 2s that's a great deal.
You actually save the most from the Retro Handhelds Discord market channel rofl
😊
I’m so surprised you didn’t mention the RP2s that handheld is top tier😮
It's just too new for the list. I even felt the RG405M was too recent
Disappoints me every time someone mentions 3:2 devices and doesn't explain that the KTR1 is the best one. 3:2 screen at 1080p is stunning! Great video as usual though.
KTR1 is very expensive though
You didn't say the name of the last GBA 3x2 device. What is it?
Is the RG351P, is on the chapters from TH-cam
save money and get a psvita. native ps1 and psp as well as all 2d consoles and handhelds.
That's a great point!
I bought an RG351P used only for 40$ wich is INSANE!!!
I only use it for GBA wich is perfect because of it's 3:2 screen. And I like horizontal handhelds more, don't like clamshell.
How long does the shipping process take? I ordered my Anbernic 4 days ago & they still haven't shipped my order yet.
What's the theme on 351p?
I will have to check I just like it because it looks like a Switch.
Surprised that your 2023 device of the year not included
I still consider that a fairly recent device.
Oh no!
The RG405M is not cheap though, especially considering the RG Cube is in the same price bracket. Pretty overpriced for what it is imo. I'm starting to get weary of Anbernic, we need more competitors factoring good QA
in their products. Quality over quantity I say.
I agree
Which is more powerful? RG353vs or RG35sp?
Hey there. The 353 is probably just a bit more powerful.
the problem is no handheld can run F-Zero GX that fits in my pocket
RG Cube....
Im going to be more selective about what I buy. I overspent in the past few years and most devices collect dust.
Yes you can get caught up in an unhealthy buying cycle with all this.
As a daily driver, I would never want a metal chassis. I've already seen enough horror stories with custom keyboards. 💀
Nah, get the Odin... it's a beast
Its too bad that the RG353PS didnt get a lot of attention. I love the form factor.
Yes it's a goodie
Miyoo Mini Plus still goated
Hehe I'm not arguing here
280v or A30?🤔
A30, I'm so upset about my 280v. Just look up. "rg280v won't charge." It's a common problem. My 280v doesn't work anymore.
Build quality goes to the 280v but obvs software goes to the A30
Poor ARC getting looked over again, even in a Looked Over Devices video. 😢
Well this was more of an older device video although I guess the Arc is a bit older now.... Actually you make a fair point. However I am planning a dedicated Arc video soon

Hey man, I am sure I will review it. It's a nice idea. But the more I though about it, I feel the RG351P is a way better option than the V10.

Just mod your switch and put Android on it
Aiden my friend I am a big knife guy before the retro handheld scene was around and used to get lost down that TH-cam rabbit hole, but I must say everytime I see your knives it's like XU10 category, it will cut but it's not pretty, for your video sake you should get a nice Benchmade or Microtech.

No If the handheld can't physically play the cartridge , it's not worth it That's why the analog pocket is best being poor isn't a Excuse
Can I start by saying that I love the video very appropriate topic. But I disagree with the RG353V versus theRG353VS, I honestly believe having the android option is worth the extra money, but that’s a personal decision. Again, I love the video thanks and keep them up.
Fair enough. Thank you!
