Na encounter ko din ung after reboot ng re-imaging hindi na gana ung buttons. Napagana ko sya by clicking power button para mag sleep ung steam deck tapos click ulit power button para mag wakeup. After nun nagana na ung buttons at magamit ko na ung buttons for setup ng install. Wala pa screen protector kaya iniwasan ko dutdutin ung screen.

I remember na nangyari rin ‘to before samin pero sa ROG Ally. Tama naman yung screwdriver na ginamit, pero for some reason hindi kumagat. Kahit papano, nakaya pa ng rubberband. Have you also considered puting epoxy on the screwdriver para kumagat sa screw?

@@dnja. yeah puwede. Although, I reco na kuha ka nung transparent cases ni JSAUX. Para may total replacement ka if ever pumangit yung original case. Around 1.6K+ sya.

Kailangan mo pa rin ng recovery file para kapag inaccess mo yung BIOS with your new SSD on the Steam Deck, i-flash mo na lang sya. Remember na walang available recovery file ang SSD na binili mo. That will have to come from Steam and have it flashed to the Steam Deck.
kuya matanong ko po. if download at naka install sa sd card ang mga games mo, pag insert mo ba ng sd card after changing ssd and reimaged OS eh need mo paba ireinstall or redownload ang games or diretso na agad laro? mabibigat kasi games ko kaya baka abutin uli ako ng buwan bago ma complete download lahat dahil sa mabagal ang speed ng wifi ko. at need mo ba ng strong wifi para sa pag reinstall ng updates sa steam deck after upgrading new ssd?
Tested on Linux and Windows 11: if folder structure is standard, plug and play lang yung Micro SD card. Pero depende sa gamit mo na format ng Micro SD card mo. Search mo si JD Ros because he made a video na easy to follow kung paano gamitin ang NTFS or BTRFS for both Steam OS and Windows.

Samung yung nakuha ko na SSD replacement pero hindi kasya yung foil so hindi ko na lang nilagay. So far after more than a week no problems naman.
Whoa! Wala kang naging storage thermal issue? Baka lang mataas degradation rate nya if wala yung foil.
Naku delikado yan walang protection na foil bka pag uminit ng sobra sumabog steamdeck mo. ingat ka bro. There's a reason kung bakit me foil yan.
bro sumasabog po ang steam deck dahil di siya console at computer siya. baka masabugan ka dahil walang foil na nagsisilbing protection sa heat.
out of the box, need ko muna icharge full ung deck before ko gawin to noh? :)
