    'The various centres of Krishnamurti Foundation India constantly and continuously say that they are the centre of K's teaching. So now when we have Buddhist teaching, Christ's teaching and Krishnamurti teaching, are these so-called teachings of K going to meet the same fate those of Buddha and Christ?'
    This channel is managed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, UK, and by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America.
    The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.'
    We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.
    Our videos contain thousands of subtitles in more than 25 languages, translated by volunteers from all over the world. If you would like to help us with translating subtitles, please contact us at digital@kfoundation.org

    He was left with just 88 days while he was delivering this speech. He Did not wear glasses nor had hearing aid. His mind not living in past ever forgoing the psychological experience was so liberated ,still and silent and his body cooperated till his last day. A great master who did not want to be identified as one. The topics he discussed still are helping many. I will not call those as teaching it's just discussion. Great friend of humanity

    Since learning about Krishnamurti 16 years ago and reading/listening to him, I feel so much affection toward the man that I also feel the need to be wary of becoming some kind of zealot. However, it is no stretch to say that if people could really understand what he says, the world would be such a different place in a good way. I'm sure many say the same of Buddha and Christ (and many others) but to understand K is to understand oneself. "Teaching" seems a word lacking in what he did. A beautiful flower for which I am grateful not only of the fragrance left behind but to have some modicum of a sense of smell. Thank you for sharing these videos!

    First of all, K's teaching were not just teachings, were facts. It is a fact that our perception of reality is conditioned by arbitrary linguistic concepts. Now, the sense of corruption comes from the idea that a perception is only valid when is normalized by a mass of people, and every time one tries to organize a mass of people to normalize some perception or ideology, corruption kicks in because "organizers" want to control people, not free them. That's why K points out that the responsability is individual. If you depend on someone else or a organized information center (religions, news, politics) to normalize your psychological existence, you'll aways be a prisioner of said "organizers". The path to psychological freedom is a individual and solitary (not lonely, which is a arbitrarily established reaction to solitude) one.

Now whosoever will care and listen will get it, that is he will love the teaching. The teaching doesn't come simply with the word caring but rather way of life and I'm the real sense of that word.

    To take time to be aware of ones thoughts and learn about them and in doing so learn about who you are leads to an awareness which no longer needs a teacher. infact you are then the teacher' because in this awareness is compassion for others who you see are suffering. with this awareness you can see the whole struggles that people go through. personally i cant help but feel a great pity for mankind. so do i think jiddu's teachings will fade. how can it when it is now living in me.

      Tony, I've watched a few of Krishnamurti's videos. You seem like you are better versed in his philosophy... To my understanding what he is preaching is that there's a better way to perceive things, a better way for our brains to make up our narratives, without the "I" character and all of it's memories and arbitrary temporal prejudices. And that would be a step into a better world, without nationalism, without dogmas and authotitarian traditions and ways of thinking. But he also says there's no clear path to achieve this kind of brain... Is that it?

    • @Tea-tl2pv

      But the point is that there is no step by step! All methods must come to fail due to their involvement with time and desire. I have never encountered a meditation practice which doesn't fail for me after one or two sessions. It seems specially true for me, based on what I've talked to others about. But eventually, all of these methods and practices lead to the stimulation of memory, desire and expectation. It is impossible to escape unless on totally achieves it in an instant so that there is no going back.

    On this 71 st anniversary of the most critical physical destruction of humanity, let's apply the physical sequence onto our psyche. And see how much power the real implosion mean, the bottle neck that once scientists solved, the chain reaction leads to such velocity and power. Pay our sage back: listen, doubt, implore, implode and explode into truth. Live simply, attentively and energetically like he shown us with his physical embodiment. And first do no harm with our thoughts which are the source of actions, no matter how insignificant that maybe, it can be the spark that leads to inferno. Thanks K and friends.

    Why is this questioner so passionate about nothing? With Buddha and Christ, our world is still a mess, and he's complaining he has k? There was this second patriarch thousand years ago. He was so thirst for Truth he knelt in 3 foot of snow for days and eventually cut off his right arm to beg for hearing the Truth from the sage. Confucius said " if listening to truth in the morning, dying in the evening is OK" Did the muddled-headed questioner know how many people would give a lot just to be in the company of K, just to listen without that thundering noise? K has beautifully explained the difference as he repeatedly says he did not 'want a circus' of his 'teachings'. No middle men. Foundation at best will provide access to pure uncommented upon works of K. I totally like that. I would rather read the Bible or the Gita than some interpretation of it, be it by the greatest scholar. Let me hear the Masters myself. That is what K encouraged I think. • @himanshusingh8414
    @himanshusingh8414 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What I have realised after kundilini awakening, that humanity's superconsciousness is being corrupted by faith and misbeliefs which will eventually corrupt every single person on this path in the future, the word 'profound' which he uses so often tells us about the seriousness of the situation. The concept of having more followers in a belief or a religion is actually affecting the collective consciousness. Those who connect to it, if they have preconceptions of a specific origin are eventually getting hacked by the strength of that belief in superconsciousness, changing the way of thinking ( the free will) of that person to a specific direction. This is what K is against since the start, all he talks about is how to address this problem.

  • @sanekabc
    @sanekabc 8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Unfortunately, the questioner also made a very interesting point about K not being a teacher or that the teachings themselves really weren't teachings per se since K operates merely as a mirror, which K didn't really address, other than saying to destroy the mirror if you understand what you see. It also raises the question what it means to "live" the "teachings."? What are the teachings if they are only you and your thoughts, feelings and actions? Quite an interesting question.

    • @pradeepprad
      @pradeepprad 8 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      From my understanding...Teachings talks about Truth, which is 'that shore'. We, our thoughts, our emotions, sorrow with the me as the centre are in 'this shore'. Living the teachings means to let the truth and not the ego, operate in our life. For example, if my wife hurts me and I hurt her back, that acting, living is from the ego.Whereas if I become aware of my reaction to that hurt and see that my reaction is a mere habit with satisfying my ego as the only purpose, then I may not hurt her. And this 'not hurting' is living the teachings. Of course, frankly, I dont do this all the time. But that difference I have seen personally.

    • @michaelharbach1987
      @michaelharbach1987 6 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Destroy the mirror if you understand what you see.
      That perfectly explains it if you understand. He is a mirror. He is reflecting who we are as humans. If we listen & question with him, then we will start realizing truths about ourselves. When we understand who we are, then we have greater clarity. Our perception becomes closer in alignment with reality.
      This message is meant for those who seek truth. To seek truth, as a human being on this planet today, requires persistent reflective judgement, compassion, empathy, integrity, humility, and continuous improvement.
