Some of you accurately predicted that I would really like these ones! Next Tuesday I'll do Viginti Tres, give some thoughts on the 10,000 album, & post my reaction to first song from the next album!
The whispers are Maynard saying things like "Listen to your parents" and "Go to school" and other positive nuggets, but they're played backwards. Thats why they kinda sound creepy.
The first time I heard the Fear Inoculum album I got a few "Right in two" flashbacks. This song always had a special vibe and tone that stands out from the rest of the album. Fear Inoculum is just full of these vibes and tones, special, modern, deep, rich, truly outstanding.
"They fight till they die over sun, over sky. They fight till they die over sea, over air. They fight till they die over blood, over love. They fight till they die over words, polarizing."

I was lucky enough to see the very first time Right in Two was played live. It was may 13th 2006 in Chicago. It was a special experience. It was the short theater tour before the world tour for 10,000 days
I worked on that tour for their talent agency. It was Hell....we had to make every show equate to a $66.66 ticket price,...but each state and venue has different facility fees, takes and surcharges etc., so it took FOREVER and drove the assistants crazy, lol.
The pitch shifty harmonics during the intro and outro of right in two are Justin on Bass through a Digitech Bass Whammy Pedal. He's fond of that effect and so am I
There’s something really, really special about the interplay with Adam and Danny. One moment you’re like “Danny is leading here” and before you know what happened, Adam is taking the reigns. The play back and forth of these two really shines here.
You'll find that the style of Right in Two evolves into what you will hear on Fear Innoculum. Its briliant... but its requires more than 1 (or 10) listens to truly appreciate each song.
it's actually pretty thematic to most of their albums. the last song of an album typically alludes to what the following will be framed like. these guys are such a well thought out and constructed group of musicians.
Really glad you liked this album! I can guarantee you, it's a grower. Vicarious and Pot are usually the gateway songs, so to say, but in a couple months you might find yourself washing the dishes or something while you blast Rosetta Stoned and enjoy every second of it. Anyways, it's great to see you making progress in this project. I really hope you'll like Fear Inoculum, for the most part it's an accessible, interesting and engaging album that will definitely give you a lot to say and think about.
You are going to love Fear Inoculum, song and album. Great great album. You definitely hear bits and pieces of the previous albums, mostly the last 3. Enjoy. Spiral Out, Keep Going!
Now imagine we had to wait 13 years for the Fear album, which is Epic !! We were wondering is it going to be good, is it going to be like 10,000 days, we’re the guys washed up?? ( NO ) - just wait 13 weeks before you react to it, each week equaling a year .. lol
Also, are you going to react to A Perfect Circle and Puscifer??? You must delve into Maynards other creative outlets, theyre both so different but just as dope, get it done son, giddiup

Yeah! great set of songs! it really wraps this album really well. Before you get to Fear Inoculum... how do you rate this album against Lateralus and Aenema?
As a whole I prefer Lateralus. That said this album had some amazing songs and some incredibly deep and emotional songs at that. The two albums felt pretty different and distinct, but I will probably listen to Lateralus more often than 10,000 Days. The lighter, or maybe more hopeful tone in Lateralus is a better fit for my life right now, as a lot of what I'm trying to make happen for myself requires a disciplined and relentless optimism, which Lateralus has embued in it, in my opinion. What about you?
@@urbanshamanproductions9092 I have to also say Lateralus. However, last December I spent 2 weeks in WA state as my mother was dying. I connected to 10,000 days in a new deeper way as she was also a believer like Judith Marie. Both albums are special in their own special way!
Look up Zachariah Sitchen to learn about how talking monkeys were given reason and free will by the aliens who genetically modified the monkey DNA to make the creatures smart enough to mine for gold, but too dumb and docile to question the authority of the "Gods". This song should be the Ancient Aliens theme song actually.

Vigniti tres is not a song, maybe you could react right before fear innoculum?
Yeah I’m gonna post it all on the same day 👍🏼
It might not make a difference but an interesting fact, the next album came out 13 years after 10,000 Days.
@@narcoleptic-haze See you guys in 2034! That would be the real experience ha :-D
To get the full TOOL fan experience, once finished with ‘10,000 Days’, you should wait 13 years and 3 months to dive into ‘Fear Inoculum.’ 👌

Right In Two is amazing. It’s one of my favorites as well.
I always feel like Intension is the most overlooked song in their catalogue and it’s A-Fricking-Mazing
A song about the human condition. Society tries to alleviate it, not always successfully.
