this new triton is the best looking mitsubishi pickup to date. it does not have that wierd shape from the side like the previous triton models. For once mitsubishi did not leave out the rear ac vents. they are finally listening to customer feedback.
The 4H is certainly welcome. We've been in an horrendous drought in Australia and recently we had a small amount of rain. It made the roads greasy and the back of our Triton in 2H mode tried to slide out on a roundabout with our AT tyres. 4H made it feel much more settled.

We have the Revo and this Triton at home. The Triton drives more like a car. The turning radius is so under rated. Our home has a small gate, the Revo has to slowly try to get in, sometime a reverse is needed.The Triton is so easy to get in its like a small car.

Viscous coupling??? What are you talking a about. It has a torsen based centere diff in 40:60 ratio. Old pre 2015 model has bevel center diff with visco clutch! Please check your information
Do you have docs or articles to support your claim? Our dealers says its VCU too. Does a torsen based diff affects its useability on tarmac like a normal AWD?

Other pickups DO NOT have center diff. only rear diff. Most of you people are confused with the terms since the rear diff is "centered" so you assume that center diff and rear diff is the same.
4H for wet roads?
Yep, I usually use 4H for heavy rain but you can basically leave it in 4H all the time and forget about it

Yeah but there's a fair price difference between them
lose in what way?, Ford has the worst reliability out of all pickups next to VW. i will never trust a twin turbo engine from ford, even their single turbo engines failed after 4 years. if you want reliability get a triton or hilux, navara and Isuzu are also reliable.
