In the eyes of the World "Hero" is a human that obtained a Hero egg and hatched it. Those humans are called True Heroes. Also those who obtained Demon Lord Seed and sprout it will be recognised as True Demon Lords (or Awakened Demon Lords) by the World. Milim is a True Demon Lord. But Leon was recognized as Demon Lord by other Demon Lords not by the World. In the eyes of the World he is currently a True Hero. To sum it up, one becomes a Hero or a Demon Lord when recognised as such by the World. But ordinary people've started to call very strong monsters as "Demon Lords" and very strong humans as "Heroes". So the word "True" was added to those who have been aknowledged by the World.
make no mistake, ramiris may seem weak but that's because she is. at the same time, ramiris under the right conditions is one of the most overpowered characters in this series. just like the many names/titles that ramiris has she has ability befitting all of them. ramiris is a lot like gobuta, shes a bit of an idiot sometimes but you definitely shouldn't look down on her.
Well, I did not look down on her after all she is a demon lord and rimuru had serious problems taking out a new born demon lord. I love this series and might as well read the light novel because I cananot wait for a season 2, the wait is always so painful

There are Demon Lords and there are True Demon Lords. For someone like Clayman and Carrion it was a title they took for themselves but did not empower themselves. For Ramiris and Milim they enacted a ritual either on accident or on purpose that transformed them into a True Demon Lord and was empowered.
The story about how Milim became a demon lord is actually kind of sad. I don't think they directly say how in the books, it is hinted at in a legend that Rimuru hears and it is kind of pieced together from there.

It seemed, in the books, that each time she is reborn, she looses some of her power? Though I might have misunderstood what they were saying, I am reading "fan translated" versions of the light novels, so the english is sometimes questionable.
The original power of Ramiris is on par with Guy Crimson and Milim Nava so her title as Demon Lord still fits. Just wait for Tenma Great War arc and I'm assuming you're gonna regret saying that.
She’s powerful but she reincarnates. So technically right now she’s weak but she’s technically a child currently. However she keeps her memories and personality.
The big plot turning point is coming, considering the current pacing it's very likely that we're gonna get a season 2 cuz the last episode will probably be the introduction to the arc. The arc where everything burns down and Rimuru's fundamental change in ideals and evolution.
Ignoring the fact that they skip a LOT of information and interactions with the kids, the thing with the fairy being in his weak form and what comes next is SUPER important for the whole story so I hope they don't cut content… again

I like how the “title” and “naming” system in Rimuru’s world is very similar to Japanese culture. Titles are very important for Japanese businesses and corporate structure. Elders and head of families are also shown great respect. In our Slime’s world names and titles grant status and “evolved” power. While it would be cool(and ridiculous) to gain superpowers after being named the CEO of a company, it does grant you a higher level of respect in Japanese culture. I love how Slime plays on this cultural aspect in a fun and interesting way.
Well, to be exact, Leon is a demon lord in title but a hero in status. Because yeah, there is the title of demon lord and the title of hero, who are mostly self-proclamed or bestowed upon you by other people, but there is also *being* a hero or a demon lord, like an evolution of yourself, if you want. And that's what Ramiris said with "Leon is a hero and a demon lord". He's effectively both, but one in title and the other by essence. Also, while Ramiris is now actually weak, she definitely is strong enough to be called a demon lord when fully matured. Remember her reincarnation bit ? Well, she's actually maturing to return to her real power and that's the point of the golem she had : she used it as a bodyguard of sort because she could'nt really fight herself.

Episode 24 is going to be some posthumous backstory for Shizu and a certain demon, and episode 25 is going to have something involving Veldora. Then there's going to be an OVA involving a festival.

To become a 'true' demon lord there is a necessity to collect 10.000 souls from either killing yourself or being responsible for the killing someone is doing to start the demon lord ascension and the harvest festival granting skills, becoming an actual demon lord increases power output by x10, Ramiris is in her reborn state right now and she will be weak like this for the next 100 years before she reaches adulthood again. You have to be 'somewhat evil' to slaughter 10.000 people, Rimuru himself has 'darkness affinity' thanks to ruling over monsters. 'Saved Souls' brings the 'Life in the Royal Capital' arc to an end, and we're off to 'Birth of a Demon Lord' arc Last episode is going to be a real bang if they introduce Hinata Sakaguchi... the novel changes it's tone at this point.
@@peynnep6483 if the requirement of 10.000 souls is met and the demon seed has sprouted, the resulting demon lord itself becomes somewhat immortal and after the unfortunate death of it's celestial body it can move it's soul either into another host or be reborn (unless the soul itself get's consumed by something - i.e. Rimuru). Ramiris doesn't exactly die, she just de-evolves into her chibi form at the height of her power, the resulting soul container has more capacity than the previous one, thanks to that she can continue to gain more power in the end.

Shizue did not hate Leon. In episode 8 as she was dying, she said something like, "I dislike this world, but I do not abhor it. It is the same with him." It seems likely now that she could say that because he still has some heroic qualities. And one of the goals of her final mission was to find him and see if he could send her students back to their world. She must have had some degree of hope he would (and could) do this.
There are quite some information to be taken away in this episode like when she showed up, Ramiris said she is one of the TEN Great Demon Lords, Ramiris of the Labyrinth. Some of the anime only viewers have been wondering how many Demon Lords are there, so here is your answer. We also get to know she died and was reborn. "Faires/Spirit" is quite similar to Dragon like Veldora, as in EP 1 Veldora mentioned when he died there will be another Wind Dragon be reborn somewhere, they will be like different character person. Just that Ramiris have the memories of her previous life as well. She has her own strong point, although her current power level is weak due to reborn. The nickname of the Demon Lords usually also tells you what is their strong point or what they are good at. Ramiris also mentioned her other titles such as 迷宮妖精 (MeiKyuYouSei)"Fairy of the Labyrinth", "Guide of Saints", and former "Queen of Spirits". She also mentioned her relationship with Treyni, that Treyni and her sisters were cute little spirits (like those colorful light balls flying around in the episode), but look at how they look now. The Former "Queen of Spirits", should also look something like that at full grown before she died and reborn then become a Demon Lord.
The manga and anime are so different at this point, even small lines and reactions change the feeling so much. Maybe it's based on the LN? I hadn't read the LN just the manga.
@@sergiofridschtein2493 In this latest episode in the anime the fairy told Slime that he could make high grade spirits from low grade spirits, but in the manga he does it without being told and the fairy is shocked when he does it the first time say something like "Oh that's what you had in mind.." They aren't huge changes and in all honesty the anime makes it easier to follow where he gets the info from but in the manga it shows that the fairy under-estimates Slime even more than she first thought, leaving an even bigger impression on her at that time. As the reader we are left thinking that the voice in his head tells him it's possible. It's just a small change to make it easier for anime watches but it does change how each person reacts and thinks about Slime too, building him up a bit more instead of helping him along. I'm not sure how the LN does it, maybe the anime is following the LN a lot closer than the manga.

Demon lord and hero are titles but they aren’t really given by a person certain actions help in unlocking them, ramiris fall of grace is mostly due to a certain someone going on a rampage
I just read the manga and realized how they found the location in the anime was kind of a cop out. In the manga it was the fortune teller elf who is a traveler that told him where to go. And there’s a wholesome scene where the kids come to his room at night cuz they are scared and he makes them hot chocolate to calm their nerves
You are a bit mistaken about what is next, episode wise. Next week is episode 23 which will end the main story of this anime season. Following is episode 24 which is a brand new side story featuring Diablo, a prominent character from a possible season 2, and Shizu in the past. The last episode will be a side story episode which will show you Veldora's perspective, and his own anitcs inside Rimuru's stomach, during Rimuru's actions to this point. There has also been stated to be an OVA which will release with the manga this coming fall.

The True Demon Lords tolerate their presence only in the hope that they might truly evolve eventually. Anyone claiming to be a Demon Lord without prior approval is killed. Most people are too afraid to call themselves Heroes for similar reasons since they might be forced to backup that claim. Not sure if the anime mentioned it or not, but Rimuru tried to have Yohm call himself a Hero, but Milim mentioned that that would be an extremely bad idea so Rimuru opted to call him a Champion instead.
In regards to titles affecting you the way names do: We actually see this hinted at with Rigurd. As Rimuru's village grew early on, we saw other tribes of goblins join to live under Rimuru's protection. At that point, Rigurd had become the new Goblin Lord, and Rimuru noted that the goblin had received a power boost as a result.
@@shugen6397 False, the light novel has been licsenced in English and is being sold. Currently there are 4 volumes released and volume 5 is coming out next month. The 4th novel is up to the Hinata fight.

The anime is based on the official Japanese version, so it's entirely possible that they could adapt a season with novel content no English-only American has actually read yet. Plus, web novels are _always_ considered the unfinished versions of light novels, and thus will *never* be used as source material for ANY anime, so even if they were following translations, they'd wait for the light novel to get farther along before adapting things.

Oh, this is barely the tip of the ice berg. XD There's so much story + extra side stories that can be animated. Can't wait though, cause a lot of the characters have intricate back stories. The world building though is something to look forward to as well. Can't wait for Rimuru to get mad. *laughs evily* hahaha.

I love the irony that a Demon Lord, of all things, is the one being responsible for making potential Heroes into actual Heroes. The Divine Blessing of the Hero given by Ramiris is the real deal. It's so funny to me that it's impossible to become an actual Hero without being blessed by Ramiris(a Demon Lord).

The ONLY way to become a True Hero is to have the Hero's Egg within your soul(and to have awakened that Hero's egg) AND to be Blessed by Ramiris. And the ONLY way to become a True Demon Lord (which is different from just being given the title of Demon Lord), you need to have a Demon Lord's Seed(within your soul) And fulfill another condition(but I'm not telling what it is since that would be a spoiler).
@@Malroth00Returns The people who are Summoned can only become Heroes(yuusha) if they are given the blessing. A Summon can however become an Eiyuu(brave/champion/hero) without the Blessing. Shizu was an Eiyuu, not a Yuusha. There's a difference in Japanese, but sometimes the translators don't make the difference. That's why Shizu was called a "hero" by the adventurers in episode 7, but then was called a "champion" in episode 8 because the actual Hero(Yuusha) was also mentioned in the same episode.

They can do even 2 seasons. Season 1 adapted the first 4 volumes of the light novels and there are 13 volumes realised in Japan. So season 2 and even season 3 can be made right now . Great review Chibi ! :D
Concerning Heroes and Demon Lords: Those are both titles and race classes. Leon for example has the *title* of demon lord, but is a hero by class. Furthermore, a human *can't* become a demon lord (race) and a monster *can't* become a hero (race). So no matter his morals, Leon would always become a hero, because hero is the human aligned evolution class, while demon lord is the monster aligned one. (Besides, Leon is probably one of the most "good aligned" people in that universe. I'd say he is neutral good If Rimuru is true neutral~neutral good )
Based on the source novel and current anime pacing. It is likely that we will get a total of 3-4 seasons. That is based on the current speed at which they are going through the source material.

Tbh, I hope they continue it until a certion person's enraged n sudden evolution, because from there, we got to know other demon lords, that was when I really enjoy reading slime.
They're laying way too much groundwork not to have another season. They've covered maybe a third of the full story so far which means this season was basically just act 1. They've been so good at foreshadowing and dropping hints, and paying them off. It should be a fun rewatch for anime onlys once they know what it all means.
It does hurt, not knowing whether or not that you favourite anime is going to get a season two is what really scares me, you watch these characters develop and grow hurts a lot.
The fairy is actually powerful and the only reason she is weak now is because she has died and been reborn as a new/young fairy. She still has all of her previous memories but her body is now weak as before being reborn she was as powerful as the other demon lords (as an adult fairy) and she has a unique perk because of this, she is able to keep her position as demon lord even tho she is now extremely weak.
Actually Rimuru isn't talking about removing the spirits from the kids. What he is talking about is merging minor spirits into superior spirits if one doesn't appear. The children need a superior spirit to manage the magic in their bodies. Removing the spirit wouldn't solve anything.
The anime barely covered how she was a full sized being that goes through life death & rebirth cycles, the manga showed her full sized adult form. Since they only have 24-25 ep this season they have speeded up and skipped/cut things to get to were they can end the arc within the ep limit of season one.
The world actually has an impartial arbiter, who could declare someone a demon lord - the voice we heard in episode one. Beyond that... you can call yourself a demon lord, if you're strong enough that Milim won't whack you for being a poser.
it is funny when you think about it, how similar and different Veldora and Ramiris are Veldora as a True Dragon "cant be killed" is, after the current Veldora dies, another new Veldora will be born, but it will not have orl Veldora's personality or memories, it will only have its power Ramiris as the Fairy Queen "cant be killed" is the complete oposite, if she dies, she will be reborn, but she will not have any of her past powers or rather, most since skills and the strenght nessesary to use them is passed, yet her personality and memories will be passed on perfectly, along with her soul from the point of view of the World System, this makes a lot of sense, True Dragons are existances that are necessary, but they only need to exist to acomplish their objective, but since the Fairy Queen has an active job, its better for her to have her personality and memory intact for each cycle or death and rebirth, another thing to note is that Ramiris top power is not the same, with every reincarnation she basically obtain a new body with different settings of how strong she can get, in the Web Novel she is actually abusing this system to breach her top power since she wanted to become more powerful
Also while he did turn Shizu’s life upside down, he also saved her life. When she grew up he allowed her to go off and teach, and live to be like 70+ years old.
yes, faery folks are know to make traveler lose their way, poltergeisting house, causing mischief on their path, basically chaotic neutral. It's only recently that fairy (thus the orthographic change) switched to overall good.
Yeah, Rimuru tortured a king(that sent an army to attack tempest ) by cutting of the king's limbs, making them grow again and with the cut off limbs, he orders Shion to cook it and feed it back to the king

I think how it will end with Leon is the person he wanted to summon became a popular figure or who rimoru might be a descendent of. Because I don’t think he’s still summoning because I think time still affects this world as earth. Basically he’ll read or be shown rimoru’s memories
The source material gives more detail on Ramiris (the name of that fairy demon lord.) It is mentioned she retains her memories every time she dies and reincarnates. She is currently in her child state, which means she is at her weakest. When she matures into her adult state, she is actually the #3 most powerful demon lord, after Millim and an individual who has not been introduced in the story yet. (Also, when she's in her adult state, she knocks Leon down from #3 spot to #4 spot, so yes she CAN beat Leon when she's at full power.) Also, if they're only going to make 2 more episodes after this one, they are going to have to wind up ending this on one **** of a cliff hanger. I can think of 2 possible events from the source material for the final scene of episode 25, the audience will rage at both of them.

Possibility #2. The scene where Rimuru gets disintegrated by Hinata, the leader of the humans out to destroy the monsters of the Jura alliance (As well as one of Shizu's former students. You heard about her 2 episodes ago when Yuki was talking about her as having surpassed Shizu at age 15.)
Hm.. with the premise that Leon used to be a good guy.. wouldn't be a safe assumption that he gave Shizu Ifrit to control her magic energy? Knowing that these kids will be dead without a spirit to regulate their magic energy and keep it under control, i'm starting to think Leon gave Shizu that spirit to avoid her early death, even if she wasn't the one he wanted to summon.
They are just going to skip over the part where they explained that Treyni used to be a fairy but dipped, how Ramiris tried mind controlling Rimuru (but failed miserably, this is also why Rimuru was slightly more irate at first), or explaining how her adult form works via the other fairy explanation? I know we are on a time crunch but that's quality info 😭
I would hold my judgement of evil till you actually hear what you have to do to aceive being a demon lord..........also good or bad is a matter of perspective would you have been a vilegaer of the Oger vilage and had no tie to rimeru and heared that Milim was part of a alience that killed nearly all of your kind (especally hearing she was doing that because she was bored)you would have quite another perspective than being her besty like rimeru.
We should probably stop assuming the demon lords are even bad people. Of all we've been introduced to so far it's basically 50/50, or even leaning towards more being "good". Also did Leon turn Shizu's life upside down? Wasn't it already established that those summoned need a spirit so they don't die in just a couple years of being summoned? Also we don't know anything about his reasoning yet. For all intents it doesn't seem that turning into a demon lord changes anyone mentally. Miliam says she didn't change at all and only became a demon lord for fun.
Hey Chibi after hearing you say the stuff about Leon being a hero could it be possible he is still “good”. Technically while him giving Shizu Ifrit seemed messd up at first. To answer your question about whether they could get another season out of the light novel: yes. The LN has 250 chapters, they could probably make 3-4 more seasons
Hero and demon lord are both titles and real things. Milim and romiris are real demon lord, the first 3 demon lords. The first 4 demon lords we see 3 only have the title. The demon lords control most of the territory in the world all but 3 have nations they control.... even milim has one. Leon is a true hero but offered the title of demon lord, by the top demon lord. And romiris is a very powerful being with a strong ability, rimuru just makes her stronger in the future.
In the end this fairy is powerful if u wanna know spoiler below. When she reincarnate She have something like second form more human like and when she is in this form she is indeed powerful, right now she is not weak either she have something like mental powers that can mess up your mind like implant fear in it or something like that.
Sad its ending season 1 soon, hope the trassition time for S2 doesn't take that long, feel they have done pretty good job for an Isekai, great review btw :D
crazy theory but the people we know leon has summoned have all been young girls; what if leon is trying to summon his daughter and the reason hes doing so isnt so much to see her again, as i doubt hed be willing to go to such great lengths just to see her, it might be that shes got cancer or something and he can heal her with his demon lord level magics

make no mistake, ramiris may seem weak but that's because she is. at the same time, ramiris under the right conditions is one of the most overpowered characters in this series. just like the many names/titles that ramiris has she has ability befitting all of them. ramiris is a lot like gobuta, shes a bit of an idiot sometimes but you definitely shouldn't look down on her.

There are Demon Lords and there are True Demon Lords. For someone like Clayman and Carrion it was a title they took for themselves but did not empower themselves. For Ramiris and Milim they enacted a ritual either on accident or on purpose that transformed them into a True Demon Lord and was empowered.
Yes, though comparing them to the likes of simple awakened demon lords is kind of an insult. They're way more powerful than simple million class.

The story about how Milim became a demon lord is actually kind of sad. I don't think they directly say how in the books, it is hinted at in a legend that Rimuru hears and it is kind of pieced together from there.

I like how the “title” and “naming” system in Rimuru’s world is very similar to Japanese culture. Titles are very important for Japanese businesses and corporate structure. Elders and head of families are also shown great respect.
In our Slime’s world names and titles grant status and “evolved” power. While it would be cool(and ridiculous) to gain superpowers after being named the CEO of a company, it does grant you a higher level of respect in Japanese culture. I love how Slime plays on this cultural aspect in a fun and interesting way.
Well, to be exact, Leon is a demon lord in title but a hero in status. Because yeah, there is the title of demon lord and the title of hero, who are mostly self-proclamed or bestowed upon you by other people, but there is also *being* a hero or a demon lord, like an evolution of yourself, if you want. And that's what Ramiris said with "Leon is a hero and a demon lord". He's effectively both, but one in title and the other by essence.
Also, while Ramiris is now actually weak, she definitely is strong enough to be called a demon lord when fully matured. Remember her reincarnation bit ? Well, she's actually maturing to return to her real power and that's the point of the golem she had : she used it as a bodyguard of sort because she could'nt really fight herself.

@@peynnep6483 if the requirement of 10.000 souls is met and the demon seed has sprouted, the resulting demon lord itself becomes somewhat immortal and after the unfortunate death of it's celestial body it can move it's soul either into another host or be reborn (unless the soul itself get's consumed by something - i.e. Rimuru). Ramiris doesn't exactly die, she just de-evolves into her chibi form at the height of her power, the resulting soul container has more capacity than the previous one, thanks to that she can continue to gain more power in the end.

There are quite some information to be taken away in this episode like when she showed up, Ramiris said she is one of the TEN Great Demon Lords, Ramiris of the Labyrinth. Some of the anime only viewers have been wondering how many Demon Lords are there, so here is your answer. We also get to know she died and was reborn. "Faires/Spirit" is quite similar to Dragon like Veldora, as in EP 1 Veldora mentioned when he died there will be another Wind Dragon be reborn somewhere, they will be like different character person. Just that Ramiris have the memories of her previous life as well. She has her own strong point, although her current power level is weak due to reborn. The nickname of the Demon Lords usually also tells you what is their strong point or what they are good at. Ramiris also mentioned her other titles such as 迷宮妖精 (MeiKyuYouSei)"Fairy of the Labyrinth", "Guide of Saints", and former "Queen of Spirits". She also mentioned her relationship with Treyni, that Treyni and her sisters were cute little spirits (like those colorful light balls flying around in the episode), but look at how they look now. The Former "Queen of Spirits", should also look something like that at full grown before she died and reborn then become a Demon Lord.

@@sergiofridschtein2493 In this latest episode in the anime the fairy told Slime that he could make high grade spirits from low grade spirits, but in the manga he does it without being told and the fairy is shocked when he does it the first time say something like "Oh that's what you had in mind.."
They aren't huge changes and in all honesty the anime makes it easier to follow where he gets the info from but in the manga it shows that the fairy under-estimates Slime even more than she first thought, leaving an even bigger impression on her at that time.
As the reader we are left thinking that the voice in his head tells him it's possible.
It's just a small change to make it easier for anime watches but it does change how each person reacts and thinks about Slime too, building him up a bit more instead of helping him along.
I'm not sure how the LN does it, maybe the anime is following the LN a lot closer than the manga.

I just read the manga and realized how they found the location in the anime was kind of a cop out. In the manga it was the fortune teller elf who is a traveler that told him where to go. And there’s a wholesome scene where the kids come to his room at night cuz they are scared and he makes them hot chocolate to calm their nerves
You are a bit mistaken about what is next, episode wise. Next week is episode 23 which will end the main story of this anime season. Following is episode 24 which is a brand new side story featuring Diablo, a prominent character from a possible season 2, and Shizu in the past. The last episode will be a side story episode which will show you Veldora's perspective, and his own anitcs inside Rimuru's stomach, during Rimuru's actions to this point. There has also been stated to be an OVA which will release with the manga this coming fall.

The True Demon Lords tolerate their presence only in the hope that they might truly evolve eventually. Anyone claiming to be a Demon Lord without prior approval is killed.
Most people are too afraid to call themselves Heroes for similar reasons since they might be forced to backup that claim. Not sure if the anime mentioned it or not, but Rimuru tried to have Yohm call himself a Hero, but Milim mentioned that that would be an extremely bad idea so Rimuru opted to call him a Champion instead.

In regards to titles affecting you the way names do: We actually see this hinted at with Rigurd. As Rimuru's village grew early on, we saw other tribes of goblins join to live under Rimuru's protection. At that point, Rigurd had become the new Goblin Lord, and Rimuru noted that the goblin had received a power boost as a result.
The light novel goes on for quite a while past the point we're at, we've likely got content for another two seasons

Shizu was an Eiyuu, not a Yuusha. There's a difference in Japanese, but sometimes the translators don't make the difference. That's why Shizu was called a "hero" by the adventurers in episode 7, but then was called a "champion" in episode 8 because the actual Hero(Yuusha) was also mentioned in the same episode.

Concerning Heroes and Demon Lords: Those are both titles and race classes.
Leon for example has the *title* of demon lord, but is a hero by class.
Furthermore, a human *can't* become a demon lord (race) and a monster *can't* become a hero (race). So no matter his morals, Leon would always become a hero, because hero is the human aligned evolution class, while demon lord is the monster aligned one.
(Besides, Leon is probably one of the most "good aligned" people in that universe. I'd say he is neutral good If Rimuru is true neutral~neutral good )

They're laying way too much groundwork not to have another season. They've covered maybe a third of the full story so far which means this season was basically just act 1. They've been so good at foreshadowing and dropping hints, and paying them off. It should be a fun rewatch for anime onlys once they know what it all means.

The fairy is actually powerful and the only reason she is weak now is because she has died and been reborn as a new/young fairy. She still has all of her previous memories but her body is now weak as before being reborn she was as powerful as the other demon lords (as an adult fairy) and she has a unique perk because of this, she is able to keep her position as demon lord even tho she is now extremely weak.
Actually Rimuru isn't talking about removing the spirits from the kids. What he is talking about is merging minor spirits into superior spirits if one doesn't appear. The children need a superior spirit to manage the magic in their bodies. Removing the spirit wouldn't solve anything.
The anime barely covered how she was a full sized being that goes through life death & rebirth cycles, the manga showed her full sized adult form. Since they only have 24-25 ep this season they have speeded up and skipped/cut things to get to were they can end the arc within the ep limit of season one.
The world actually has an impartial arbiter, who could declare someone a demon lord - the voice we heard in episode one. Beyond that... you can call yourself a demon lord, if you're strong enough that Milim won't whack you for being a poser.

from the point of view of the World System, this makes a lot of sense, True Dragons are existances that are necessary, but they only need to exist to acomplish their objective, but since the Fairy Queen has an active job, its better for her to have her personality and memory intact for each cycle or death and rebirth, another thing to note is that Ramiris top power is not the same, with every reincarnation she basically obtain a new body with different settings of how strong she can get, in the Web Novel she is actually abusing this system to breach her top power since she wanted to become more powerful
Also while he did turn Shizu’s life upside down, he also saved her life. When she grew up he allowed her to go off and teach, and live to be like 70+ years old.

I think how it will end with Leon is the person he wanted to summon became a popular figure or who rimoru might be a descendent of. Because I don’t think he’s still summoning because I think time still affects this world as earth. Basically he’ll read or be shown rimoru’s memories

The source material gives more detail on Ramiris (the name of that fairy demon lord.) It is mentioned she retains her memories every time she dies and reincarnates. She is currently in her child state, which means she is at her weakest. When she matures into her adult state, she is actually the #3 most powerful demon lord, after Millim and an individual who has not been introduced in the story yet. (Also, when she's in her adult state, she knocks Leon down from #3 spot to #4 spot, so yes she CAN beat Leon when she's at full power.)
Also, if they're only going to make 2 more episodes after this one, they are going to have to wind up ending this on one **** of a cliff hanger. I can think of 2 possible events from the source material for the final scene of episode 25, the audience will rage at both of them.

Possibility #1. The scene where Rimuru returns to his town to find several of the citizens have been killed by humans from the holy church who found out about the monster village.
Possibility #2. The scene where Rimuru gets disintegrated by Hinata, the leader of the humans out to destroy the monsters of the Jura alliance (As well as one of Shizu's former students. You heard about her 2 episodes ago when Yuki was talking about her as having surpassed Shizu at age 15.)
Hm.. with the premise that Leon used to be a good guy.. wouldn't be a safe assumption that he gave Shizu Ifrit to control her magic energy? Knowing that these kids will be dead without a spirit to regulate their magic energy and keep it under control, i'm starting to think Leon gave Shizu that spirit to avoid her early death, even if she wasn't the one he wanted to summon.
The golem that rimuru made for ramiris is op as fuck and pretty close to Awoken ramiris's power so its like shes awakened everytime

I would hold my judgement of evil till you actually hear what you have to do to aceive being a demon lord..........also good or bad is a matter of perspective would you have been a vilegaer of the Oger vilage and had no tie to rimeru and heared that Milim was part of a alience that killed nearly all of your kind (especally hearing she was doing that because she was bored)you would have quite another perspective than being her besty like rimeru.

Also did Leon turn Shizu's life upside down? Wasn't it already established that those summoned need a spirit so they don't die in just a couple years of being summoned?
Also we don't know anything about his reasoning yet. For all intents it doesn't seem that turning into a demon lord changes anyone mentally. Miliam says she didn't change at all and only became a demon lord for fun.

Hey Chibi after hearing you say the stuff about Leon being a hero could it be possible he is still “good”. Technically while him giving Shizu Ifrit seemed messd up at first. Technically he was saving her life right? Without it she would have exploded or overloaded and stuff. It felt like he was being cruel but maybe he did it as a mercy.
To answer your question about whether they could get another season out of the light novel: yes. The LN has 250 chapters, they could probably make 3-4 more seasons
Hero and demon lord are both titles and real things. Milim and romiris are real demon lord, the first 3 demon lords. The first 4 demon lords we see 3 only have the title. The demon lords control most of the territory in the world all but 3 have nations they control.... even milim has one. Leon is a true hero but offered the title of demon lord, by the top demon lord. And romiris is a very powerful being with a strong ability, rimuru just makes her stronger in the future.

When she reincarnate She have something like second form more human like and when she is in this form she is indeed powerful, right now she is not weak either she have something like mental powers that can mess up your mind like implant fear in it or something like that.

crazy theory but the people we know leon has summoned have all been young girls; what if leon is trying to summon his daughter and the reason hes doing so isnt so much to see her again, as i doubt hed be willing to go to such great lengths just to see her, it might be that shes got cancer or something and he can heal her with his demon lord level magics
