I'm starting to believe that Lake County as a whole is cursed, somehow. Almost every person I've known that moved out there from somewhere else has always told me that the energy is strange & with all the depression / suicides, etc.
Mt Konocti.. Ive heard stories about a under ground lake under the mountain. Natives have stories about blind fish and sacred logs that were dropped from inside the caves on top of the mountain and was later found Floating in Clear Lake.
I came to clear lake was staying at a Airbnb in Lucerne. The side of the house is the mountain. Me and my brother were smoking out in the front when we heard something walking really slow we heard it cause every step it took you can hear the branches breaking as soon as my brother pointed it out we stayed quiet. As soon and the thing knew we knew it was there all of a sudden we heard running to us it was like it phased right through the fence and ran at us we couldn’t see it but we heard it running the closer it got to us the heavier and louder the footsteps were getting luckily we were able to make it inside before it got to us. Super scary we didn’t sleep and left as soon as the sun came up won’t go over there no more.

I grew up in Lakeport in a house apparently built in the early 1800’s (maybe even before the founding of Lakeport) on 2nd street annex. I’ve experienced some of the creepiest things in that house as a kid. Would love if I could find more info on the property.
