Great lesson. You nailed it. Nice sound as well. I read somewhere Guitar Slim was not only a great guitar player but also a great showman. Big influence on the Vaughan brothers also.
I've read that too. I guess he got a really long cord so he could walk around the clubs and out into the street while playing. The man loved his whores and whiskey - leading to his early demise.
