I was a single mom with my daughter. When she was 3 years old, my grandma set me up on a date with her best friends son… and now we’ve been married 5 years and have added 2 boys to our family. It really can happen… I also have a great relationship with my ex and his wife and co parent really well. We never went to the courts and I have a great relationship with my ex’s wife. My kids and my ex’s new kids even play together and are all friends. My husband adores my ex’s family and they also have a great relationship. I know it sounds like a unicorn story but my point is.. it really does exist. And you are a beautiful soul and so full of love and deserve the best! I’m rooting for you and I just know your story will be just as beautiful as you are!
I just want to say that I could listen you to you speak for hours. You have such a beautiful energy about you and your views on life are so refreshing. I too have a little girl and love the special bond we have together. I was also an only child and had such a great childhood and bond with my mom. You are a wonderful beautiful person Brittany. Thank you for sharing this with us.
You have grown into one of my favorite content creators❤️ I have a 2 year old and I found your channel when I was pregnant with my daughter. I was so anxious about the whole process of bringing another life into this world and your videos brought me a lot of joy and peace. Thank you for being so honest and keeping it REALLY real. I never buy products that are created by influencers but I’ll buy anything you make haha.
Okay can I just say how much I appreciate and respect you for sharing your income info and everything you mentioned in detail. It’s always nice to know specially for people who are interested in starting and having somewhat of an idea on how stuff works and not Gate keeping. You’re amazing! Thank you 😊
I’ve been here since the colorful hair era ❤ amazing to grow with you, even though it only online lol About dating, I’m not a single parent but what I see single parents (specially my friends that are moms) is that you have to meet the person to know if they’re nice to be in your kid’s life. Like, of course they say they have their kids and that their kids are their priority, so if the other person accepts that and still wants to go out with them, then they will get to know that person to see if they are someone they can trust enough to be in their life as a whole, including your kid. It’s not easy 😅
I love hearing about your mom journey - I feel the same in so many ways!! Especially the one-on-one bond with my only, and the strong pull to have more children about 1 year postpartum that has since dissipated (my child is also 3 years old). Motherhood has been a crazy journey so far, and I know this is only the beginning!
Loved the in-depth look into revenue streams and income as a full time TH-camr! I’ve always had a curiosity about how people make that work. Also my 2 cents on finding someone decent to date … instead of apps, why not try volunteering and serving in your community? So many good hearted people volunteer to serve others so the chances of meeting someone worthy of entering your daughters life would be higher 😘
I’ve always thought becoming a content creator on TH-cam was much easier back then! I started my channel almost 2 years ago (which isn’t that long, all things considered), and I always go back to my love for it. If the passion wasn’t there, I wouldn’t still be doing it. You have to really love it. I’m so glad you kept at it. I look forward to your content every week❤
I love and appreciate your honesty with your finances. Even though its becoming more normalized to talk about money, it still feels very scary doing so! But its soooo helpful to hear how everyone is handling their finances, so thank you for sharing that!
Loved this and love your hair here! Been watching you since around 2011 and I’ve always been impressed with your consistency and how you’ve always just stayed yourself. 🩷
Being separated by states and leaving my daughter with her father is always thee HARDEST part! Seeing her cry and miss me and me being so far away is heart breaking. If it’s gets so bad I hang up to cry because I just can’t take it …..
As a single (non coparenting) mom to a two 1/2 year old, i would say the hardest thing is the lack of support and the abandonment. Having zero support from the father really does put you in a constant bought of guilt. I know I would probably never feel bad just asking his father for help because like, its his dad 😂 but only being able to get help from my own parents or paying for a sitter does either cause guilt and feeling like a burden or needing to pay money. Its hard. The financial abandonment is a whole different pain. Not only did that person abandon you physically but also financially sometimes. And its hard with how expensive everything is now. Feels like you get paid and it disappears 🫠 people really downplay and throw around the term “single” parent and use it when they have beautiful coparenting relationships but the reality of being truly singular in this journey and never having extra hands in this experience is truly something you cant understand unless your in it. Someone you loved suddenly just not caring about you or your child anymore.
@@brittanybalyn My point is you’ve got another person to rely on and financial support as well. A true single parent doing it on their own is 100% responsible for everything and that in itself is the hardest situation for both that parent and the child(ren) involved. It’s just an opinion, no need to get petty about it with a link to the definition of single parent 😂 Sweetheart, I wouldn’t wish this situation on my worst enemy.
@@brittanybalyn Hi! Ill start by saying I love your content and when I was pregnant and throughout my journey as a single mom its been extremely helpful especially when it comes to self care! We are all entitled to our own opinion and I by no means want to diminish or minimize your experience. Coparenting clearly comes with challenges or obstacles as youve been vulnerable enough to disclose and im sure all of us are greatful for it! @@brittanybalyn I think you are a beautiful mom and person. It's just not the right term for you. You even corrected it yourself. Single Mom is used for Moms who have to act as both parents, for whatever reason. It's more clear if you use the right terms.
And you can take it or leave it but here is my two cents. Why put it on your bio? Why make it a thing? Are you trying to appeal to "single moms?" You are not a single parent. You have a problem with your daughter, you call the father, right? He takes her half the time, right? You are close with his new girl, right? She knows your daughter, too, right? It sounds to me like you have a beautiful situation here and WHY NOT act Grateful! Why not BE REAL. The only thing that makes you "single" is that you don't have a lover and you are not with your baby's dad. Sure, you have a lot of responsibility as the sole parent for whatever portion of the week that you have her, but that was YOUR choice! Just trust me, the real single Moms out there are in a very different situation. They have NO DAD WHO CARES (or Mom if it is a single Dad) to call. If they were to make an instagram or a TH-cam about their singleness it would be about analyzing the pains of not having another person to share the love of the kid with, or about how beautiful it can be WITHOUT anyone, and about resources with how to deal with the psychology, etc. So, I ask you, what purpose are you doing this for? To me, it doesn't serve your dating life, your kids' life, or your baby daddy's life. I think it's misleading and erroneous. I love you as a person, a spirit, a mom. But call it like it is. SHARE YOUR GRATITUDE...and your struggles as a co-parent. I'm not saying one is better or easier but SAY IT LIKE IT IS. Don't go around advertising your dating status as who you are. Is this all a game for you? You don't use your real name. Just think about it before you defend yourself so stupidly and blindly. And lastly...be YOU. @@brittanybalyn ...and whether you believe me or not, I am truly saying this for YOUR OWN GOOD. Your psychology would feel better if you were more honestly representing yourself online. Just think a little more about it with an open mind before you start shooting links. You're not showing your daughter, you're using click bait like titles about showing her and than not...to me, you should revamp and make your channel more accurate about yourself...find new ways to relate to people. You've mentioned so many interesting things that you could dive deeper into...like your family history and other things...just be real and you will be happier. Trust me that this is coming from an honest and good place.

I know this video is a few days old so you may not see this comment, but my thoughts are if you're wanting to look for a person who is family minded, good values, kind and loving, looking for someone in a church would be a great place! Obviously I recognize that you might not share values, but I will say that gentlemen who are single and attending a church often are family minded and are taught young on to care and love and sacrifice for the women and children in their lives. Just an idea! Blessings to you, your daughter and her father ❤️

Yayyyyy!!!!
I feel like the “how much you make” should be a whole different video lol
