Your daughter will be one of a kind and have high expectations of others with the example you both set. Not many parents are able to be near each other, let alone tell the world how it’s going. Great job. ❤
Coparenting is legit one of the most rewarding, confusing & challenging lifestyles. Takes lots of maturity from both parties. This is great to see two parents work together to raise their child from two different homes & lives. 🌿
i'm sure you both know this, but showing your daughter this healthy dynamic will truly help her flourish. my parents really got along with each other while i was growing up and i feel like it showed me what healthy love looks like from a very early age. you two are killing it!
Seeing healthy coparenting heals something in my inner child so much ❤️ thank you guys for choosing to share this with us. Arrow is very lucky to have everyone involved.
What’s it matter though? They said in the video, after divorcing and getting over their “beef”, they grew up a lot. People can grow and change. And sometimes, people aren’t meant to be together. Doesn’t mean they still can’t make great co-parents/friends though.
They said they didn’t disagree much in terms of arrow and their co parenting relationship, there’s a whole other relationship other than parental that hasn’t worked and they most likely disagree with other topics or have different communication styles when it comes to personal relationships.
This was so cool. Definitely a rare perspective and dynamic and then to film it and speak so openly was really dope. I hope this inspires other co parents❤
I absolutely love that you two can come together like this. I miss your vlogs and I miss Riot and Rev together. But seeing you be able to work together as a team for your daughter is awesome and honestly it helps me with my step son and being okay with his mother, I was kinda iffy at first. I feel like I’m the stricter parent when it comes to being a step mother and I tell my boyfriend that hey I feel like you need to do things this way instead of letting the kid walk all over you. I would love to see more videos like this.
I’m a bonus mum and my husband and his first daughters mum and I team parent too! It’s rare but it’s so much easier when everyone is mature and respectful to each other
Oh my goodness my question made it in the video❤❤❤ 18:19 We love seeing the co-parenting relationship between you two after seeing you guys married. It gives hope for people going through a separation that it’s possible (with work from both parties of course) that you can get to a place where you can be “friends”
I think it would be neat to do a once a year video, maybe around your daughter’s birthday, talking about how things have changed over the past year and where you’re both at in the parenting journey. Kind of like the Billie Eilish interviews from Vanity Fair. 😄
I have been a subscriber for over a decade and I loved you both together but respect you both as individuals. Thanks for continuing to share so much with us and congratulations on raising an amazing little human being. Oh, and I love re watching OUR Daily Riot!!! Thanks for leaving them up!
As the daughter of divorced parents who can hardly be in the same room, thank you. Thank you guys for normalizing a healthy relationship between co-parents.
When my parents got divorced I was 13 years old and I turned rebellious. My parents couldn’t even stay in the same room together because I have a jealous step dad and my father doesn’t like the drama so he didn’t even bother trying to get in contact with my mom. It’s been 15 years since then and my dad’s number is still blocked on my moms phone. Yeah teenage years were pretty toxic and they weren’t a team at all. Now that I have kids and I always come with disagreements with my bf who is the father of my kids I just don’t know what to do because I wasn’t raised in a healthy environment. Watching this video gave me a little bit of hope.
Wish my kids father was willing to be “mature” and “cooperate” like you two do, however unfortunately he cannot and never will. Narcissists won’t change their ways.
Not a native speaker. But I don't feel like baby momma/baby daddy makes it justice. You guys were married for years, lived together, etc. Feels a little disrespectful in the sense that it minimizes what you had and where Arrow came from.but if it works for you, why not 😅
@@corinaalbota577I completely understand what you mean. 100% and your viewpoint is valid & I think both these parents would agree with you, if they ever were actually serious when using those terms. However, I just wanted to note that typically, in a rather healthy co-parenting relationship at least, the terms, “baby mama” or, “baby daddy” are used in a joking form. It’s kinda hard to explain and I only wanted to point this out since you said you weren’t a native English speaker. I can almost gurantee that if either of them call the other that, it’s amongst friends or a light hearted, comical situation. It never would be said in a serious conversation or to actually describe the co-parent. I also agree, she is also so respectful and it makes it a delight to watch her.
It's nice you guys are in this place. Some and many parents and families struggle with co parenting. You guys truly have the best interests of Arrow and yourselves and it's so refreshing
You are such a humble women Brit! It’s so dope to see you still riding out this journey alone and the reasons may be deeper than we’ll ever know! ! But you are a bad ass bih!
Your daughter is so incredibly blessed to have you guys as parents. Your marriage didn’t work out but you put her first anyways and that’s so beautiful. My parents still fight and put their personal needs over the others first and I’m 28. I wish so dearly I didn’t have to be the middle man between them and I wish they just put my first.
"They want the chisme" 💀😂 I used to watch you guys back in the day and loved an updated video of you both 🫶 Brittany, you look beautiful ❤ And yall made the cutest kid 🥰 I vote for more videos together 😊
Omg I can’t wait to watch this after my babies are in bed tonight! Also your hair color suits you SO well! I’ve definitely said that before but I think it’s the best color I’ve ever seen, truly
I have an amazing coparenting dynamic. It’s wild how much people assume it’s fake or a front. Life is so much easier this way. I’m step momma btw, but me and mom can call, text, confide or defend each other at all times. She was recently diagnosed with cancer at 32 years old. We r closer now than ever before. No time for petty drama. It’s all about the littles. Couldn’t have prayed for a better coparent
Yes would love a more advice centered co parent video! My co parent is involved and things are peaceful but he only wants two overnights a week - hard to navigate the mindset of a co parent who just doesn’t want to be that involved.
I really liked this video, because you were talking about how you co-parent, giving advise but really the best example was simply watching you interact. You both try your best for your daughter and that is what really matters. I had divorced parents and they never had that maturity to the point I decided to elope instead of having a normal wedding... It was perfect tho, but I guess things would have been very different in my life if my parents would have chosen me as a priority instead of the beef.
Omg, I got both of my girls’ ears pierced at 3 months old, just so they wouldn’t remember it (I just breast fed right after). I let my 8 year old get her second upper ear pierced for getting straight A’s all year long. Everyone is so different. Now my 11 year old wants her naval pierced, and we’re going to do it this summer. 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
I was peiced really young and I never remembered it. I don't think personally, as someone who did have them peirced really young that that ever bothered me. So I wouldn't worry about it.
I am interested how does financial aspects work, especially if both co-parents are not at the same place financially. And how you organise practical stuff - like clothes, books, toys, equipments ... do you have everything in double, do you share?
I love that you both want to be there for all the milestones. My kids older now but coparenting can be difficult. I forgot about the daily vlogs you both did! Man I've been watching for a long time.
Loved this!! Seems like you guys have really been making it work for Arrow ❤️ Would be interested to know how financials work in a split household? I presume things in the house get bought by each parents but with stuff like daycare, doctor’s visits, etc.
I wish i could show this to my mom and dad who divorced when i was 2 (they were 22 and 24). Im 30 now and i still deal with the divorce drama. Its truly exhausting
Awww he calls you "squish"? Haha that's cute! Love your dynamic and how you prioritize your daughter 🥹🥰 Also Brittany this hair color looks FABULOUS on you, omg love it!!!
It’s totally up to the parents, I would never judge anyone for doing something differently than me! Many cultures and traditions are different but that doesn’t mean one is better than the other! ❤
I think it’s amazing you all can do this well when the relationship didn’t work out. Usually it doesn’t work because of this problems in the relationship are still a problem lol
hahah the conversation about the parenting styles hahaha love y’all ❤ this is beautiful parenting!! also wow i just noticed how much Arrow looks like her father!
I've been here since like...the beginning of you making videos. I've made multiple different accounts over the years but Ive always found you! I feel old as fuck lmao
Your daughter will be one of a kind and have high expectations of others with the example you both set. Not many parents are able to be near each other, let alone tell the world how it’s going. Great job. ❤

Little Arrow just melted my heart “mommy I have no one to talk to.” Expressing herself and getting her needs met. Love it! 🥰❤️
i'm sure you both know this, but showing your daughter this healthy dynamic will truly help her flourish. my parents really got along with each other while i was growing up and i feel like it showed me what healthy love looks like from a very early age. you two are killing it!
I WAS HERE SINCE OUR DAILY RIOT 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 i was in high school.
Me too 🥹
Sameeee
I can see Arrow's face in her dad so much, as if you are talking to Arrow!
Seeing healthy coparenting heals something in my inner child so much ❤️ thank you guys for choosing to share this with us. Arrow is very lucky to have everyone involved.
Seeing that you don’t disagree on much I’m curious to know why your marriage didn’t work out
Same. But if it's anything like me and my ex-husband, we're more like platonic soulmates.
What’s it matter though? They said in the video, after divorcing and getting over their “beef”, they grew up a lot.
People can grow and change.
And sometimes, people aren’t meant to be together. Doesn’t mean they still can’t make great co-parents/friends though.

Well that would be rude to the person he is currently with
It’s so hard for men to last the first year after baby is born smh patriarchy didn’t set them up for success
As a one and done mom, he is me, I am him. When you know you know lol and this is from someone who wanted 4 kids.
This was so cool. Definitely a rare perspective and dynamic and then to film it and speak so openly was really dope. I hope this inspires other co parents❤
Both of you deserve just such a big pat on the back, you're handling yourself incredibly. You should both be so proud of yourselves.
He looks soooo much like her! Keep it up guys 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

I used to watch our daily riot and I always thought you were relationship goals, now you're coparenting goals 😭❤️
Arrow looks just like her dad. I forgot how much she resembles him.
Love how you both are so open about coparenting!
I’m a bonus mum and my husband and his first daughters mum and I team parent too! It’s rare but it’s so much easier when everyone is mature and respectful to each other
I think what also helps is that nobody has feelings for each other anymore so there’s no jealousy
Oh my goodness my question made it in the video❤❤❤ 18:19

The excitement I have watching you both again as a watcher from the daily riot days. The growth is amazing. ❤

I admire you Britt so much. Seeing you as a mom now, wow!! You're so mature and strong and fun!❤
always wondered why it didn't work out between these two.. glad they are making it work tho, thats so rare these days
You both respect each other. Some parents together and in a relationship don't even do that. Good job guys!
Wish my kids father was willing to be “mature” and “cooperate” like you two do, however unfortunately he cannot and never will. Narcissists won’t change their ways.
I just absolutely admire ya'll for how well u co parent. Wish this was more common❤
Been with Brittany since our daily riot!! So good to see y’all co parenting so well ❤
Your coparenting relationship is so admirable. Your daughter is super lucky to have such loving & mature parents ❤
Not a native speaker. But I don't feel like baby momma/baby daddy makes it justice. You guys were married for years, lived together, etc. Feels a little disrespectful in the sense that it minimizes what you had and where Arrow came from.but if it works for you, why not 😅
We spoke about it on this video, the words daughter’s father didn’t fit on the thumbnail, but that is the wording I normally use!
@@brittanybalyn yes, I heard you 🫶
You are so very respectful always! I was talking more about his way to describe it, his words

Gosh I’ve been following you for AT LEAST 10 years. It is so cool to see how far you’ve come 💜 you should be so proud of yourself xo
You guys are great examples of what co parenting should look like!! Raising healthy kids is the goal!!

I know it’s none of our business but I would love a video talking about the reason you guys divorced
Been watching since the ODR days! Love seeing how far yall have come in your own lives but also as coparents. 👍🏼👍🏼

Just want to say that I have been watching you since you were pregnant and you are one of the strongest mama's ever! Always remember that!
I’ve been here since before Our Daily Riot 🙌🏻
So cool that you guys made this video. Wow, Arrow looks so much like him! ❤
P.S. your hair and makeup is AMAZING!
Wow the nostalgia.
Love you guys have a good coparenting relationship

Not related to the video, but Brittany you look amazing! It’s like you had color analysis and you’re an Autumn. Love the hair!
Okay so like I’m curious why this didn’t work cause you guys are such a vibeeeeee ❤❤❤❤
Been following for 10 years, you guys are awesome people 👏🏼
I wish i could show this to my mom and dad who divorced when i was 2 (they were 22 and 24). Im 30 now and i still deal with the divorce drama. Its truly exhausting
Been here since 2014? And i just have so much adoration for you brit❤ *always* been so honest & mature..
This was great, thank you guys for sharing! I'd like to see the q&a with Cody's gf, I couldn't find it!
Awww he calls you "squish"? Haha that's cute! Love your dynamic and how you prioritize your daughter 🥹🥰
Also Brittany this hair color looks FABULOUS on you, omg love it!!!
He calls their daughter squish
Him with the beer made me laugh.. reminds me of the old ODR days. So nostalgic.
I got my daughter’s ears pierced the same day she was born at the hospital 🫣🫣 (but I live in a Latin American country, totally normal here).
It’s totally up to the parents, I would never judge anyone for doing something differently than me! Many cultures and traditions are different but that doesn’t mean one is better than the other! ❤
You are such a great parents and a great coarenting team. So many people can learn from your example. Thank you !

My “baby daddy” will never be my friend or have the honor of sitting on my bed again. Wish I had a relationship like the two of you. 😂
Refreshing! Great work mama and dad! 🏆🏆🏆
You guys are rocking it! Arrow is a lucky kiddo!
I started watching you guys on our daily riot and you've come a long way!!! ❤
The term of parenting you are doing is authoritative ❤️
hahah the conversation about the parenting styles hahaha love y’all ❤ this is beautiful parenting!! also wow i just noticed how much Arrow looks like her father!

Giving the child a SURPRISE HAIRCUT?! I would have been SO FRIGGIN MAD if my mom did that! 🤬🤬🤬

Does anyone know why they split up to begin with? Just curious lol, not trying to be nosey 🙂
Love seeing you two together !
Love this too! Is he willing to share his soup recipe? Sick mama over here
I’ll ask ❤
My husband is 40 and we are expecting our second. However, to each their own, but men have way more time to have babies. He is not too old.
I totally agree on the age thing, and congratulations!! ❤🎉
