At my shop we usually scan cars for people for free, as long as they ask politely, then when they see the code they can decide if they want to fix the code or issue and pay for the work, scanning really only takes a few minutes
Very very good diagnostic scanner for the price small and packed with good a bigger diagnostic scanner would have I have autel, snap on, think diag and so on haven't really used them senice I got this one and 90% of the time you would use the expensive scanners when you are working on a car our truck that has never been taking care of right.. And the new launch coming out the added bidirectional on to it 350 to 400 can't beat that 👊💥

@@wendellparkinson9570 I’m not sure the exact setting you go into, but ABSOLUTELY can read mileage. It reads your vin. It will tell you to a T, what it is, even down to engine size. 👍✌️
Thank you very much for your comment. I’m not 100% if there is a live data stream for Mercedes abs or not. Im I know there is live data for Chevrolet, and Ford. Sorry I can’t give a definitive answer.
When you are on the main Home Screen, there are several options to choose from. Such as: Diag, ObdII, I/M etc…click on the one that reads Upgrade. When that page loads, you will see, or should see a list of things that need to be updated. They all should have a blue check mark next to them. At the bottom of that screen you should see update. Click on that…and all of those that are blue check marked will be updated. Make sure you have the device connected to Wi-Fi, or they won’t update. Depending on how fast your internet is, and how many you have to update, depends on how long it takes. Hope this helps.👍✌️
Really don’t understand that either. Only reasoning I have is maybe because Lotus is made by Geely, but is Chinese owned. I know some of the Lotus have Toyota engines, but still doesn’t help the fact that it’s not on the scanner.
I just ordered it im a pretty DYIer do everything myself need a new scan tool just got on prime for 207 with the deals now I'm looking forward to it and I work on alot of other people's cars you need something something
I just went to mall and paid $38 for gmc/chevrolet/buick. And it litteratly didn’t change anything when I scanned my car. Everything is still the same to what it was prior to paying that. I figured I would get more things to see or do anyone help would appreciate it
You did get more. Or should have. It’s probably things that you wouldn’t normally use, like calibrating SAS, or programming key fobs. I believe even brake bleeding. Keep digging deep, you will see that you can do pretty much everything with this tool as you can with a snap on. I’m not sponsored by them, so I don’t have to say this, but it is a very useful tool to have in your arsenal!
Hi , Very useful video After I read the comments below, I'm still afraid to buy it haha My question, after the time that has passed since the video, do you still recommend the device? Big thanks for sharing !
Yes I do. I don’t use it daily, but I use it often, and it does everything I need it to do. I’m not paid or sponsored by them. If I like a product I put it out there. If I don’t the world will know that too. Absolutely would buy again!
Honestly not really sure what that is. If your talking about dpf regen for diesel again still not sure because I’ve never used it for anything other than gas vehicles.
Yes, For me it worked on a GM Opel Zafira 1.7cdti taking the saturation from 90% to 39%. The DPF Regeneration and Reset if you get it cleaned or replaced seems to work. I has an issue with Oil reset, which i thought would be basic. But, more practice and research needed
Very very slow tool, identification obd only manually, crazy red light, buttons not usable even for move down to the next page, oscilloscope not adjustable. It shows check engine codes.
Sorry, I have had my scanner for more than 2 years and the live data is the engine function, but if it does not have a fault, I cannot Lilo in others to monitor the transmission
Honestly, I’m not 100% sure. I haven’t had to use it for that yet. I know it has TONS of features and is constantly updating. But that’s not one I’m familiar with. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.
I really appreciate your opinion and you taking the time to be completely honest and transparent
Thank you 🙏 I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Great video, answered alot of questions about this tool that I had.
“Look man, I don’t want to buy the place. I just want to hook my car up to the scanner!!” My thoughts precisely

It will take a few times to get use to. It’s an awesome tool to have in your toolbox for sure!

Will it put the fords TPMS sensors in learning mode, or at least re-set them?

Your very welcome my friend. I just finished another review on the Launch CRP129I, it’s coming out tomorrow.
How to update the crp129x

Привет! Как купить полную функцию в Mall? Сними, пожалуйста, подробное видео! Заранее, спасибо!
What did you get with the Chevy package?
Can one use the diagnostic tool while the engine is running(while the car is stationary)?
Yes. You can see live data as well. Sensors etc…
@@badlsxgarage Thank you.. I used to think that I can't scan the engine while it's running and that it will spoil the scanner.
How do you the mall function
Will it check for fuel pressure regulator on GM trucks that have them mounted to the fuel pump ?
Honestly I don’t know about that. I know it tells a lot of sensor data, and live sensor data, but I can’t honestly give you a yes or no about that.
Does this read balance rates on a diesel? I can’t seem to find the answer.
I couldn’t tell you. I don’t work on diesel engines. I do believe that it reads pulse for gas engines, but I’m not 100% about that either. Sorry…
do you actually own the app once purchase through the mall? or it's only for rent?
Its my understanding, you will own the app once you buy it. So 1 time purchase.
Yes you own it 💯💯💯
Good video and info on it 💯💯💯✅
No you don't its only for one year in 2024
Every vehicle except the one I need to diagnose, Lotus!
Really don’t understand that either. Only reasoning I have is maybe because Lotus is made by Geely, but is Chinese owned. I know some of the Lotus have Toyota engines, but still doesn’t help the fact that it’s not on the scanner.
Does it retract eBreaks?
Does it do Bidirectional
To be honest idk. I haven’t had to use it for that. The last one I done, I removed the mechanism/motor and used a star socket.

That method is risky destroying the whole caliper assembly

Does it make blind spot calibration
It just says you will need glasses! 😅🤣😂

I just got the same 2024 model less than $2 with the coupon a u t e l store on the bay , 1996 and forward is odb2 . North america setting on scanner .
I just recently gave away a launch 2024 edition on my channel.

Sorry to hear that. Sounds like it needs to be updated. Mine works perfect. And not slow by any means.
With the updated one I can no longer scan the live transmission gmc 2005 I do not recommend it 2-27-2024
Can I ask what updated one your talking about? The new Launch scanner, or the actual update that Launch does on the scanner?
