Agreed!!! Even the easiest victories gave you a rush, and the hardest ones made you prouder than ever- And I feel this song definitely contributed to these feelings. I wish they kept a "final Pokemon" song in later games.

Most hype moment I've ever had in a pokemon game was when I was fighting Elesa, my Dewot managed to live a spark on 2 health and managed to one shot her zebstrika with a crit water pulse

I tear up every time I listen to this for a number of reasons.
1. My father and I have played every Pokemon game together. Every. Single. One. This song brings me back to a time where I didn’t really have to care about anything(I was around 9 when black and white came out in 2010). It also brings me back to a time where me and my father were actually able to spend time together and with my schedule and his schedule it’s very hard to spend time with him(I’m 21 now and work 2 jobs. I’m a fireman and I work for a medical transport service when I’m not working at the station and he is a teacher).
2. It’s just nostalgic. I remember hearing this for the first time as a kid and I was so hyped to beat the 2nd gym leader.
These games were masterpieces and my father and I still play them to this day. We’re on our first play through of all the Pokemon games since 2017 and it’s been a blast so far.

This is why i absolutely adore Gen 5. This is the song. This right here got me into Pokemon. And it is to date one of if not my favourite song in the entire franchise and to see it remastered in such high quality just mmh. Thank you!
First time I ever heard this play during the Striaton Gym battle solidified my love for Gen V.
Pokemon peaked with Gen 4 and 5 and there ain't nobody who can convince me otherwise.
When I watched episode 31 of season 16 and heard this track, I desperately tried to find it for several hours, but when I found it, I cried with happiness.
Gen 5 is my childhood, my first Pokemon episode was about Ash's catching Snivy.

I've always viewed this song as the trainer's own theme. Victory is before you and the stage shifts from being the Gym Leader at the center and towards the player taking victory

Idk how or why, but this theme inspires an incredible amount of emotion from within me. Probably just the unadulterated nostalgia of a once simpler, more enjoyable life where being on your last pokemon in a gym battle released an adrenaline rush like no other. Pure hype.

When I first played this game it was the most epic thing ever, having an intense battle and being on our last Pokémon. Whenever I replay the game I just laugh at this part because I usually end up curb stomping gyms.
The beginning gives me chills every time. The build up is so immaculate.
For me, the best thing about Pokémon, is the music. Two pieces of music stand out to me. The Alolan Champion theme, and this. This song is the embodiment of your triumph over an exceptional obstacle, a testament to how far you've come, and the friends you've made along the way. As cheesy as that sounds, I really find this song full of hope and Inspiration, and I'm not ashamed that it puts a huge smile on my face. I really hope they use this piece again in the Black/White remakes.

Omg the chills I got just from earing the very beginning... This song is my childhood. I remember crying because I lost while this theme was playing it felt so frustating, but when I won, I felt so powerfull.
So you hear this track when a Gym Leader has only one Pokémon left in Black, White, Black 2 and White 2, and feel like a champ? Try this one for size: if you're into ROMhacks, try beating all the beefed-up Gym Leaders in Blaze Black/Volt White/Blaze Black 2/Volt White 2. When you hear this track then, shit gets x100 real!
This entire game has an actually good story and fun gameplay, whilst still being quite retro. I absolutely love it.
What made the gyms in gen 5 genuinelly epic wasnt just this theme, it also was that the last pokemon was usually pretty challenging and it started destroying all your team, in gen 8 this theme wouldn't be as good couse it wouldnt have any meaning due to the gyms being super easy

THIS. THIS!!!! Among my favourite themes in the Pokémon franchise is Victory Lies Before You!, and your remaster, as usual, sounds FANTASTIC! I wish the song had been implemented in other games, it's just wonderful and really makes you feel like you're in the final moments of an ultra-important battle. I wish they'd implemented it with the Elite Four, Champion, N and Ghetsis, actually, that would've been even MORE brilliant!

Nothing sounds more hyped up in a Pokemon game to me than an amazing, catchy remix of the main theme for the games while trying to whittle down the HP of the gym leader's last pokemon. The fact I get to see some cool art of one of my favorite gym leaders, Elesa, just adds to my joy. Thanks so much for this awesome remaster!

I remember I was playing black two with only the tepig line. I was facing up against the water gym but I had prepared. I had the TM for wild charge and I tried spamming that. He was down to his last Pokémon and this song played. I clicked wild charge… but he went first. I took massive damage, but lived thanks to my EV training. After the wild charge I was left with 2 HP and the enemy was knocked out. I won.

As i said before, this theme is absolutely a banger! when i played B/W and this started to sound on the 1st gym i was shocked, 1st time that i got an adrenaline burst on a pokemon game!
Outstanding job!, now do the B/W 2 one, that's is even better in my opinion not just because of the high pitch, but because of the pace change on instruments.
