Main goal of these video concept ideas:
My main goal for these kind of videos is to be as creative as possible!
Let me explain:
- Firstly, my very first channel Mixeli (But also my latest one Volipok) post tons of Gameplays from Every Generation (Which once again was played and recorded by myself in it's entirety. It took me many years of works.)
My video have Educational Value and let me explain why: It does provide help to the user who watch the video. One of the few example for that is which musics is played from my gameplays. It could easily be found on video cards (The exclamation mark "!" you see on the video above at the right) and vice versa. (This mean that on this video for example, you could also find my actual battle gameplays of where this music is played)
- Secondly, My video are transformative enough, I took the time to play the game and recording the musics. I took the time to improve it's original quality using Vegas Pro. Thanks to a program called "Track EQ" that you can find on Vegas Pro.
This program allow the user to enhance it's original quality and further improving it. This need concentration as each version has different audio quality.
- Thirdly and as you have noticed: On each Generation, I use different background that I bought on a website called Shutterstock. (Which I have bought at least 336 pictures background, just so I can become as creative as possible and also work on a lot of different style using those background)
This kind of concept was created by myself since 2011. Today it has become one of the main concept of my channel that I personally created.
- Lastly is to bring the community together. I have noticed that so many people are commenting and giving their opinions on the video, sharing their experience about characters from the game, confirming theory, saying funny stuff and I find this extremely amazing and interesting! I don't want their comment to be unnoticed so I have plan for the future of my content about commenting and sharing their experience on videos that I will produce one day!

Damn Unova’s gym leaders were both hard and vital to the plot. When the time came, they actually helped you against the evil team. These leaders set high bars for gym leaders, and we haven’t seen anything like these leaders in a while. Well done Unova!
We haven't seen anything like Gen V since it came out. Every Gen since then hasn't been able to even get near it's level, let alone surpass it. Gen V truly was the apex of Pokemon.
True, nostalgia aside, Black/White and BW2 were the best mainline Pokemon games that Gamefreak released. Sucks to see that people either skipped it or thought that it was bad because "bad pokemon design" "Gen 5 Pokemon anime sucked so the games must suck too" "Copying Gen 1" etc

Is it just me, or did the gym leaders of B/W have a better purpose than the others. Not only does their dialogue make them all unique and rememberable, but they also do more than any other gym leaders have: They drive the story, help you on your journey, and even help you stop Team Plasma, who, I might add, also seem to be purposeful as well.

IMO Gen 5 was the peak of what gym leaders represented in the pokemon games. They got such a kickass and fun theme and had a lot more story relevancy than did past gym leaders. A good mix of memorable and challenging. Hopefully Gen 8 does something similar if gym leaders are returning
Gen 8 indeed did similar if not better, but it came with a cost. Good Characters developments over Good Story.
Unova had both a good story and character development.

There has not been an all-around competent generation in the gym leader or any other metric since gen 5 and it's a shame. Stuck with fangames to get even a semblance of creativity or care.

One thing that needs to be brought back is that in BW2 the gyms had their own themes to tie into their Type/aesthetic

I love how in the original Black and White version, it's more orchestral, whereas in the sequels, it's more techno genre-like.
Yeah that’s why I slightly prefer the prequel version. The one in the sequel is pretty good, too. I’m just biased because, even if I don’t know how to explain it, the prequel version holds more energy in their tunes.

Unova was such a good region. I don't understand it's hate. It's one of my favorite generations! All these people (mostly genwunners) complaining about Pokemon designs like garbador and vanillish when they aren't really even as bad as they make them. Game freak was trying to be creative. I mean no one seems to remember that muk is literally just a pile of sludge.(I don't hate muk though) You're honestly gonna let a couple "bad" ruin the whole game for you? Really? At least give all the regions a chance.

I've been in since Gen 1, yet Gen 5 went on to be my second-favorite in the entire series thus far, just a hair behind Gen 3 (which would actually only be tied with Gen 5 if it weren't for Colosseum and XD being the best spinoffs in the entire series)
I'm happy that Gen 5 is appreciated almost universally by Pokemon fans today, but it was hard to be a Gen 5 fan when it first came out. Everyone seemed to hate it for petty reasons, and I felt like the only person in the world who loved those games. Happy to see that I'm not alone anymore :)
After I watched the memory links it's so sad think that Cilan, Chili, and Cress gave up being gym leaders due to all the hate they received

Three trendy chefs, a smart and sassy krone, an alliterative artist, a very stylish model, a mining king from Queens, a borderline bipolar pilot, a strong and silent screenactor, and either Old Man Mayor or Little Smiley Child.
These gym leaders have so much personality and interactions with each other, protagonists, rivals, E4s and champions. I mean, you see Cynthia gathering all the ladies in Undella (Shauntal, Lenora, Caitlin -who owns the villa-, etc), while Alder, Brycen and Marshal are close friends. Lenora and Burgh too. Elesa and Skyla are really close as well. Clay is super important in the story and helps you and your friends a lot in both BW and the sequels. Elesa became vital to Bianca's character development. Then Memory Link came in B2W2 and gave them even more dialogue and interesting interactions, as well as B2W2 themselves. All in all the most developed gym cast of all time. Galar surely has a really really good set of leaders as well, they just needed more screentime, the rare cards gave us really nice info but it would've been nice too actually see those things, especially Melony and Gordie's family dynamics.
Everyone talks about Elsa being hard, but Clay’s excadrill is no joke! This game had so many great gym battles, and the gyms actually had purpose.

Okay, here's a funny story about Skyla's gym that I had.
Back when I was around nine or ten-ish, I finally reached Skyla's gym, and beat all of the trainers you have to battle, until I reached a canon that I couldn't go into for some reason. I kept on getting frustrated about it, and I kept on battling wild Pokemon for about five months. Soon, I watched a let's play of Black and White, and saw the enterance of the canon that I needed to go into. Soon, I reached Skyla, and I beat her with flying colors, due to leveling up my Samurott to around level 70, and on the same day, beat the two gyms after that.

Lenora is like Whitney. Watchog is ridiculously strong for that early in the game. It's really unfair, especially when my team is always under levelled when I fight gyms. The only difference is that I actually like Lenora's character and she's a nice person while Whitney's a fucking bitch about everything that she leaves you with no reasons not to despise her.

I like how the gym leaders somehow play a major-ish role in your journey. The first gym leader (Cress, Chili, Cilan) are there to teach you type disadvantages. Lenora and Burgh ends up "introducing" you to Team Plasma and how they are the villain team. Elesa actually had a heartfelt scene with your rival Bianca and her father. Elesa explains that eventually you have to let your children go and that it'll be ok. I kinda forgot the rest since i havent played gen 5 in a while but correct me if im wrong, it's how i viewed the gym leaders
Skyla takes you to the island via airplane where Victini is located once you get the liberty pass. Clay helped the player to progress on several point through the story, brycen was so badass when he detected the shadow triad despite them being notoriously stealthy, drayden/iris introduce you to the legend of the dragons Reshiram and Zekrom

Did you even ever fight in the Unova Tournament in the PWT? It has all of the Gym Leaders to fight as much as you want. Plus beating it once unlocks the Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh Tournaments with their respective Gym Leaders.

I LOVE unovas gym leaders. Because all of them actually have personalities and jobs instead of just standing in one place the whole game, and are actually plot relevant! All the characters are cool! Gen 5 is easily my favorite Gen and I'm almost certain that it always will be. It's the first Pokemon game I've ever owned for myself. I even beat the post game for the first time a couple weeks ago. So it has a special place in my heart.

I felt like Drayden should have been the champion. Sure,a child as a champion is cool,but imagine him in a king's robe like Iris is in a queen's gown.

I think it should depend on the version you get; like in Black 2, Drayden would be the Champion, while Iris would be the Champion in White 2, although for the former I would prefer Cheren as Champion.
