Probably because it’s such a hard song to remix, remaster, or recreate. And yes, I do know this from experience; I tried a chiptune remix of this a while back. Gen 5 had a lot of funky instruments that are hard to replicate or replace. The fact that Zame could do it well is definitely good. I bet a lot of hard work went into this one!

There is a reason why many consider this to be the best Elite Four theme. And this right here? After the first 3 seconds? Best remaster of this theme period.
Say what you will about any character in the PKMN franchise - the Elite 4 groups have always looked badass and scary in all generations. We know their teams, we know how to beat them, but even then - when we see their designs we cant help but feel a little threatened. Their character designs overflow with confidence. Its marvelous, I love it.
Im a massive grimsley simp. Everything about his character to his design to his type to literally everything else I love. And the other gen 5 members are great. Literally a 9/10 elite four, only really brought down by their champion(s) (alder is a pushover in his rematch and iris is pretty mid for me)

I like the "neither" option because it makes me seem smart and or cool. but as a gambling man he must respect you blind guessing and getting it right if you choose the heads or tails option.

This is one of my favorite themes in the franchise, and I love this remaster ! Something about the main synth feels very Sun and Moon to me- making me wish that's the one we heard when fighting Grimsley in that!
I think part of the reason Unova's elite four is so challenging is because of how WELL the different types play off of each other. Oh, your bringing a fighting type in to counter dark? Well good luck with ghost and psychic. Okay so you bring ghost to counter fighting? Have a wonderful time with dark? Ice for ghost? Good luck at fighting. Basically no matter what you do there is always a counter with this team
This is making me realise they'll be a HUGE amount easier in the eventual remakes thanks to the fairy type being supereffective towards fighting and dark. I don't like that much tbh

The best thing about them is that: Shauntal is weak against Grimesly but strong against Kaitlyn Marshal is weak to Kaitlyn but strong against Grimesly Grimesly is weak against Marshal and strong against Shauntal Kaitlyn is weak against Shauntal and strong against Marshal

Shauntal = Velma after reading too much twilight. Marshal = Fred after joining gym. Shauntal = Daphne after grown out of childish self. Grimsley = shaggy after losing Scooby because of gambling. Also awesome remix

I love how each of their type effectively counters the type of another elite 4 member. Gives u the feeling of them beeing a team that tries to keep u down instead of just fight random brickwall and go to the next one.
And also explains why there wasn't any "battle order" their "type wheel" emphasises the fact that none of them is really stronger than another, since they all have advantage and disadvantages towards each other. So there can't be any décisive order
Honestly, this a really great remix. Sometimes remixes subdue parts of a song that were a huge factor of the original. I'm glad nothing is drowned out in this piece. You can hear and appreciate every aspect. Great work!

this is the first E4 that felt like they were actively working TOGETHER to stop you, with how well their teams covered each other's weaknesses. pretty much anything you try to stop one or two of them, the other two have something lined up to take care of it.
Hearing this reminds me when I first started playing Pokémon. Couldn't beat the Psychic member (started in Gen 5 with 0 idea about Pokémon) but kept going till I won. Hated Psychic Pokémon from then on due to not understanding them at all. Same goes with Fairy in Gen 6. Was a Dragon user then so it shouldn't be much of a surprise. Fast forward to a few months ago and my signature Pokémon ended up being of both typings and from a lucky egg hatch. Got a shiny Ralts and became impressed. If Gen 5 games come around for remaking, going to use the exact same team I once had. Minus a lucky shiny Boldure. Great remix by the way!
When I was a teen my favorite was Caitlin, however after challenge them again years later now I think I prefer Shauntal, she is really cute (I'm not only talking about how she looks in this picture) I still haven't played the gens VII and VIII games yet, but I consider the Unova elite 4 the best of the series for now.
