Thank you for sharing this. I have watched many of your videos over the last few years. I have seen amazing growth and progress with many of your goals through your admirable consistency. I hope that you get to stay in Vegas because it sounds like maybe you're not quite ready to leave yet. I think you've always done your best from the moment you decided you would, and as long as you don't lose that confidence to continue on, you always will! I'm excited to see what great things you will do next 🤗

I recently found your videos, since I also eat a starch based diet because of Dr. McDougall and I've been binge watching all I can on your channel and LOVE every video! You are so encouraging and I love your cooking talent, and your sweet kitties. I am not a millennial, I'm old enough to be your mother, but can relate to some of your feelings, for sure. Having recently been diagnosed with 3 autoimmune diseases, I'm having to figure out a whole new world and also realizing that the issues that have plagued me for a long time now are almost all related to this new diagnosis. It's like having the blinders taken off your eyes, but then you realize that there may be more to come that isn't necessarily "good"....but just remember that many times our adversity is just the thing to make a difference FOR good in our lives. It's all in our reaction to it and what we do with the knowledge we have been given. You've been handed a "key". You can use your new information to unlock the future. It may not be clear to you right now, but life reveals itself day by day. Just do the next thing you know to do, even if it's just a small thing. The way will present itself. I don't mean at all to downplay the serious nature of your situation, and I hope you're ok with me, a stranger on the internet, trying to encourage you this way. I guess, being a mom to daughters that are your age gives me a natural tendency to want to give you a positive word. As you say, be well. You have such wonderful gifts to share. Thank you so much for your videos which show so much of your sense of humor, your talent and your giving nature.

It gets better. That’s all I have to offer. I went through this in my mid-30s, too. I’m 51 now.

    Elicia,
You may find a great job with the RTC (Las Vegas Transit system). I work for a very large transit system and started my career here as a sweeper in bus maintenance. I swept trash off the buses at night when they're all home. I worked alone and absolutely loved the job and the exercise. I am now a parts manager for buses and still love it. Just a suggestion... it's often a field that's overlooked. My husband and I travel to Vegas quite often (we'll be there in August), and love it there so very much- I can understand you not wanting to leave!

E Bell, try to give yourself some slack, you communicate very well. I totally appreciate how down to Earth you are. Keep on being you, honor yourself exactly the way you are

Thank you for being real and honest with yourself and sharing with us ❤ I now think I may have the same issue? Because I can relate to the situations you have experienced! Thank you 🙏🏻

I looked up what you are talking about and I can tell you that I myself can't do an 8-5 job because my timing is off. I don't like labeling myself or others. Everyone is different. When you said that you felt like you should have been yourself at past jobs believe me management doesn't want you to be yourself. Management wants to get work done. It's not about self-expression. I have a friend who recently quit his job to do Instacart. I wonder if you've thought about doing delivery work? It would give you flexibility to do all the classes and videos. Lots of love and hugs. ❤❤❤❤
