I too believe that he should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. My favorite song is, "Step by Step". RIP Johnny and those that are responsible, please vote for Johnny Maestro in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. A Canadian fan forever. 🇨🇦🌹🙏🌈🦋🌟 Think about the vote.
Even that time that Johnny Maestro is in the top of his career...I honored and salute him...that he is agreat3x..good singer..even that time i wasn't born...I love him so much...through all the years of his golden ,tenor voice
I was blessed to see Johnny at Harrahs and previous at Metro Tech in Brooklyn and he had such gifted and beautiful voice I am truly thankful. He was truly blessed to give us all these memories. We miss you so much. 😢❤
what great music; takes me back , miss your voice; thanks for memories of love from the heart. I was born in Mount Vernon NY. and now my son in law is from Brooklyn. your music touched us all over the world.
I saw him in 1971 at a rock ‘n’ roll revival show first he did his hits with the crestsThen he brought the Brooklyn bridge out and did their smash is the worst that could happen thank you, Johnny.
I want to see him in the 60s. And convention, all Atlantic City. He was great dad and he still Downs great. Now God bless your soul. You got me with him
We lost a great and very talented singer, Johnny Maestro, a sad day for all those who know him, seen him performing and to those that just listened to his beautiful voice on the Radio etc.. ❤RIP
A great tribute to a wonderful man. Saw him numerous times in Atlantic City--last time was on January 15, 2010. Even though he looked so thin and frail, his voice was still magnificent.
Johnny Maestro - what is there to say - fabulous longevity -gr8 talent - saw him with Crests and Brooklyn Bridge - an absolute insult to all of us who grew up in the gr8 Doo Wop era and cherish the music today that he is not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame - that's an injustice that s/b rectified.. RIP Johnny
Such an incredible voice....loved him in the late 50's, and just as much now....the memories are good when Johnny was singing....his voice always leaves me in total awe....thanks for sharing.
Best doo wopp Singer of all time. I dont have enogh words to say how beautiful his voice is. Gone to soon mr maestro of singing. Sing with the angels. ❤❤❤😍
"Worst that Could Happen".....reminds me of being on a bus with other Army draftees September 1969, heading from Fort Campbell to Fork Polk for Advanced Infantry Training then to Vietnam, my girl friend Cezanne had turned cold and would hardly give me the time of day , one letter I received sounded like we were only friends, after i got out of the army she wanted to date but i was not interested , she had killed my love for her when i had been drated, but Johnny Maestro what a singer!!!
How well I remember Johnny and The Crests performing in Jackson Mississippi. It was such a great show as my sister and I had front row seats. In order to perform (mixed groups ) not allowed at that time, Johnny wore extra pancake makeup to look darker. As the show wore on and the sweating began his makeup melted off his face. Was really no problem as his skin color was same as mine and I am mixed race. They took pictures with us but mine faded long ago. Blame Kodak for the instant prints. He was a genius. RIP Johnny
Miss Johnny Maestro so much. He's gone 10 years but it feels like yesterday we were young and loving his songs. I grew up with him and Love Him to this Day...R.I.P. Sweet Johnny.
What an beautiful song......Johnny Maestro.......Was amazing....From the beginning to the end of his career I was there thru all his songs. as one of his favorite fans.with so many..followers...Pure Gold......
Awesome. You're the greatest, John. We miss you. My paper ran a "passages" of all the people we lost this year, John among them. It made me sad all over again.
Mind boggling and unacceptable that Johnny isn't in the Rock & Roll hall of fame, by all means he should be at the top of the list, his sterling voice isn't one in a million, it's one in a lifetime!
And remember when I seen him. I still appear and David Cassidy, too. Same day different show. I guess. But how much days are back? Plain and simple people are different God. Bless america
who would't love this---even today--i believe this could be a "new" wave -- we looked up to these people--they had such talent, such class and love for what they did -- we all felt it in our bodies -- it was great to watch them ( if we were lucky enough ) to see them in person or on tv. miss all this realism!!!!!!
He was the very best , Johnny you were incredibly fantastic, no other voice could sing like you, met you in Sears (Long Island) shopping with my son, & you were extremely warm and friendly ! You are never forgotten
The greatest vocalist ever!! Such a powerful yet soothing voice. I still listen to his oldies that bring back so many great times. You gave us memories that we will never forget. Rest In Peace Johnny and I would think that you are leading the angels in continuous harmony and our favorite “oldies”. Rest In Peace.
This tribute is so very well done..........and I would just like to add, even though I'm late stating this, to everyone who ever heard this man sing publicly that they should boycott the supposed Rock n Roll Hall of Fame until his place is secured in there. I will never set foot in that building until he is fully enshrined........the HOF is a sham without many of those who started in the Doo Wop era.

So much agree with you James,, It is a sham and a shame up there in Cleveland,, although I love the Browns,, I don't care for the HOF
What criteria doesn’t he meet , please tell me what’s missing so I can understand why he’s not in the HOF.
