Of course, the melodies get some part of your body moving. The lyrics are pure and clean. Every song is about love lost or found. Everyone is searching for eternal love. Keeping it is difficult. People change. The great couples have made it work. The key is to find that special one. The 50's music is made for slow dancing. Good luck with your new channel.

My mom was born in '43. I wasn't here until '85, but she made sure I was educated. Y'all were lucky to live in a time with such music. I've heard some good music in my lifetime, but there's something special about the hiss and pop of an old record and the music that was played on vinyl
I was born in 1941 and grew up to the music of the late 40s and 50s. Wonderful music and so sad to see it gone. One will never hear "How much is that doggie in the window" or Buddy Holly singing "That will be the day? Such memories!!!!

I'll give you some advice. These songs would be even more awesome if they were all played by the correct groups that made them popular. I don't recognize many of these voices. Some are okay but some not so okay.
Happier times for some. Interesting how most of these bands were afican american, but the US still had segragation till 1972, so it was pretty tough for some then, so pretty much happier times if you were white, perhaops not so much if you were not.
Born in 1992 here, my father born in 1938, my mother born in 1951 and they use to play those musics like these in their era. I love the 50s and 60s musics because they are emotional and have beautiful music in these times I wish I was in those times☹☹ Thank you 👍👍🙂🙂.
Thanks. I'm almost 50 & caring for my elderly mother who suffers from dementia. Playing these old songs always seems to help settle her mind & somehow bring her back to the present.
I came of age during the mid 1950s when Rock & Roll just beginning to take shape. The Great Pretender by the Platters was an early pioneering R&R song. By the end of high school year in 1956, R&R music got its footing and kept evolving from there. Each year the form shifted. The songs told stories, not just noise as happened many decades later. Still have my collection of original 45 RPM single records. Sometimes I still get goose bumps listening to that R&R music of my formative years. Many joyful memories. I am always thankful to our loving God for my time during the relatively peaceful time in the world. Childhood in the 1940s, teenage in the 1950s, and early marriage in the 1960s. My first and only lovely wife of many decades and I still hold hands in public, flirt at home, and visit during meals. Life can be good but people have to work at it honestly.
Beautiful music reminds me of my parents. Every Saturday was clean house and listen to music while doing so. My mother and my father would start dancing and we would stop to watch them. They were great dancers. My they both be dancing in thgreat dance floor in the sky. RIP😊
I love this! My parents sometimes did the same thing, dance. When I was visiting my mom in Texas a couple years ago, she would have been 80, I got her to dance a couple of her Charleston, Jig, whatever she was doing. She showed her grandkids a couple things. Then she got tired and said that was enough. I get her to sing and dance. I'm the only one who encourages her to do so. Out of her 6 children. Fun memories!

Born 1996 and this music is my life, I fell in love with the 1950s like 3 years ago, it opened my eyes on how rubbish our world nowadays is... This style needs to come back where ladies where ladies and guys were gentlemans
Born in 68 Love all this music No autotune, no faking, pure talent I grew up listening to every song on this list. Dad born in 49 mom 51. My favorite music
The best things about this music are listening in your car on a road trip and dancing closely with your Sweetheart late into a Saturday night! Rock and Roll Forever!!
I born in 1962 my mom and dad would play these songs on the stereo when they listen to the albums on it, and I kinda forgot about it, then I was asked if I liked doo whop music by my girlfriend’s brother in law if I liked that music and remembered that mom and pops would listen to it. Now it’s my favorite karaoke song choice that I sing now and everyone joins in and and sing along with me absolutely loving it ❤

Have a wonderful day/weekend ❤️
The Earth Angel song is clearly a cover version. That isn't The Penguins and sadly you can hear the autotune in the audio.

I born in 1962 my mom and dad would play these songs on the stereo when they listen to the albums on it, and I kinda forgot about it, then I was asked if I liked doo whop music by my girlfriend’s brother in law if I liked that music and remembered that mom and pops would listen to it. Now it’s my favorite karaoke song choice that I sing now and everyone joins in and and sing along with me absolutely loving it ❤
Thank so much 💟💟💟 Have good day
