haven't beaten it on legendary like I? The story isn't too bad, when you think on it long enough. They could've done better with the rest, however.
+Jackal you literally listed off the entire reason the campaign is awful. That combined with MAJOR story beats being introduced in boring exposition, the game just expects you to be extremely well versed in the shitty 343 era extended universe to understand why certain characters are relevant, the fact that Cortana turning out to be evil is pulled from literally nowhere, and characters just being generally stupid and flashy for no reason other than to serve the plot.
The campaign is a garbled mess of story threads all intertwined in a ball of yarn that's been assaulted by a pack of kittens, none of those story threads lead into each other properly and it's just a battered messy ball of SOMETHING resembling a tale.
It's obscenely bad.
Do you guys think they should just ignore H5 like disney is 'ignoring' the prequels?

343i should give us the option to have assassinations in first person. It's dope!
i would doubt since the assassinations are slowed down in the video and at normal speed will probably cause problems with the game and the eye to handle
he said he slowed it down afterwards because it is difficult to watch in full speed
343 can modify the way the camera is. instead of the first person camera fixated on the helmet, they should make they should make the head move while in assasination. but the downside of first person assasination is that you can't look around while in 1st person

they are in full titanium armour, so less blood is realistic.
Jason Byrd Jr that is true but you have stuff piercing through that armor and killing that person so it would actually be more realistic to have more blood.

This is pretty sweet. But honestly, if it were an optional feature in Halo 5 I'd still set it to third-person. You get to see way more of the action and spin the camera around for situational awareness.
Back Breaker (my favourite) is way better in 3rd person, you can't really see whats going on in first. Terminal velocity in 1st is sick though, so is fisticuffs.

Halo 5 still has blood (as you can see in the video) but that's about all of it. The blood has been _severely_ toned down in 5.
It doesn't have any blood, what are you on about? they can't have blood otherwise they have to go with an m rating.

The only thing I liked from halo 5 was the amount of customization you could do for assasinations. Not the way you got them mind you but the fact you could.

There aren't any AI tags in the PC Forge version aside from the generic AI. If i did manage to get some working they would be extremely bad due to no pathfinding and having to create them from the generic AI tags.

These animations are slowed down original speed would give you motion sickness and with a low fov they don't look as good.

Similar to the other head stomping assassinations, it seemed more like you place your foot on their face, and pull with their arm. It pins their head down as you pull on the torso, which forces the neck to pull up and away from the head. You are quite literally breaking the connection of skull to spine

@@mr.raptor2477 even without the suit, if your spine were to break, depending on how serious the injury is, you won’t be able to move your body

In the assasinstion you pin down their head so when you pull on the arm the neck was pulled too and since the head was pinned his neck snapped in two
Drxus Who’s broken arm was caused by another full on armoured Spartan.
Aren't their bones like titanium, I'm pretty sure that breaking is enough for a spartan to die

50+ ugly armor perms with 3 skins for each that add a stripe here or there, ugly, ultimately worthless weapon skins, and slight variants of already existing weapons don't count as "a ton".

Yes, with Halo 5 you've got forge, which is probably the most robust editor in series history, but now you have a busted-ass theater that's been broken for months, a "firefight" game mode that doesn't even come close to Reach's in terms of configuration and replay value, no file browser to share maps, films, screenshots, and customs, several gametypes flat out removed or delayed months after launch, a terrible laggy UI that breaks whenever the game loads in the background, the requirement to _always_ be connected to a dedicated server in order to play FORGE for fucksakes, and hundreds of ugly, deviantart-tier cosmetic items and worthless consumable weapons, each with different skins and SLIGHTLY different properties, in order to push a blatant cash-grab microtransaction system, which an entire third of the game is based on.
And it's funny you're still defending a game and developer who's pushing this "month of mythic" shit and can't even write a cohesive story.
The other games first person assassinations were alright but these just look great, they could be a setting in the game and no one would say much
I'm sorry, the assassinations sound more like somebody taking plastic toys and smashing them together than killing a dude in armor.

spartan Armour. supposedly extremely strong, yet in this video i seem to see it getting stabbed through the non-weak points ( mainly that helmet one with the knife), crushed under-foot (again, helmet)
i guess you can make the suit stronger, but you cant make the human tough enough to wear it and say "I'll outlast the suit"
All I have to say is, halo 5 is so brutal. But it's still great.

And to correct the other person, Emile’s armor in Halo 5 has the knife near his neck for some reason.
Awesome as this is, most of these assassination should be easily avoidable by the victim with a quick thruster pack boost

This is great. Wish this was a supported feature but I can't help but feel like this just highlights how out of place the assassinations feel with out blood.

no idea, you should see Titanfall 2's cockpit entrance now yuck, I much prefer 1st person animations for both assassinations in halo or Titan entrances in TF2/1
Situational awareness. Driving vehicles in first-person would leave you with a lot of blind spots. Assassinations in third-person let you see more of the action and if there are enemies nearby. Turrets are in third-person because you look around and move very slowly, so they give you a wider camera angle to compensate.
At the very least it should be an option
I can see the vehicles, but the others I would find cheatsy. Plus the mouse is quick enough.
Remember when riding in vehicles was first person....
