It's funny how it's T rating attempted to draw in a wider demographic and likely ended up lowering sales. I really miss old halo blood, it was just way over the top
(Ik im late af) In case you didn't know, the spartans had biofoam injected into the armor which make blood practically impossible to get through the spartan. But yeah I do miss it too

CHEESY CHIPMUNK - I think your nostalgia is clouding your senses. It was always mild, it just became milder. It certainly wasn’t a major factor in sales, lol. I’ve never once heard anybody else say Halo’s gore was over the top. Games like Gears of War are over the top. Halo is (and always has been since CE) an arcade game

+CrespoFTW Well, the arm and back breaks are the most brutal. If a knife is involved, we need to see exactly whose it is and where it goes. Just some pointers. Stop Stabbing Yourself looked like it was the other guy's knife, but I wasn't sure.
I'm actually happy that there isn't a slow mo because it's fucking annoying really quickly after 3. If you can't see it even tho your phone is .5 feet away just rewind it

I think the majority of the time with the assassinations is that with the knife they target a weak point where its the body suit and not the armor(the rest of the time idk why), and the reason for the most part that bullets don`t penetrate is that the armor is designed to reflect the bullets so they just skid off, or flatten themselves against it, in one book they point out that a pistol from point blank range wouldn`t even scratch the outer casing of the suit
There is something on spartans' armor called an energy shiel,wich is bullet proof and many "other damage" proof but that can be broke by too high damage,like a puch (spartans are modified to have better physichal abilities,like their strenght,wich make them strong enough to be able to do the required amount of damage to break an energy shield)or a stab,for example...

well, emiles regard is a Halo Reach assasination.
I'm not a fan of halo 5, but damn... These assassinations are cool. We just need an assassination that involves a wall, ledge, and elevated platforms (you know how cops arrest some people and force them on the hood of a car? That's what I mean by elevated platforms).
Like in Doom? If you executed enemies against walls in Doom 2016, a different animation would play, and that'd be great in a halo game. Too bad the assassinations we do get have to be literally gambled for with microtransactions

If halo 5 is your first halo, you need to get reach and halo 1,2,3. In the mastercheif collection. They're so much better. But halo 5 is still pretty good.
