The thought of Escharum surviving and conquering for so many years building the Banished in to a force to be reckoned with, only to tear it down himself while suffering with dementia is darkly funny to me. Would make for a cool story though.
Well in the lore the Chieftain is only Chieftain because he challenged the previous Chieftain. As brutes are pack creatures and very territorial. So unless he actually had dementia pre-written in, it would just be him asserting his dominance.
Wow that was some impressive teamwork with the snipers laying down artillery and the Hunters pinning him down and the suicide grunts ambushing him, beatiful really goes to show you that brute strength isn't everything, you need tactics.
I have to say, I'm really impressed with the hops that the Escharum AI has. His level is entirely flat with no verticality to speak of, yet here, he's able to dynamically jump across gaps and onto walls and containers. That's really cool and speaks to a tantalizing level of emergent gameplay possibilities. Really interested to see what forge ends up looking like.
Idk about hyperius and tovarus + Jega vs escharum, frankly hyperius and tovarus were a slight bit more difficult that escharum when I did my legendary run so having them AND Jega is Overkill imo. Jega vs Escharum would be pretty cool though. Hyperius and tovarus in a 2v1 would be interesting but I think I have the latter winning that fight.
They're really freaking op if you put 20 Marines against escharum I think they can pull through considering they murder your HVT's if you take them with you
@@jelansmith7711 If he had the scrap cannon, then yeah I think your right, the hammer would get them though. Hammer Chieftains are terrifying in this game, the only way I could beat Escharum towards the end was with Jega's Bloodblade. He was an absolute bullet sponge dude!
