I like the understanding of body mechanics like with the brute assassination where Noble 6 kneels into the back of the brute’s kneecap to force the leg to bend. Makes the assassinations feel that much more clean and brutal.
I just realized, looking at the "Heel Slide" assassination at 9:45 , Noble 6 actually slits the Elite's Achilles Tendon as they draw their knife, thats bloody.

Halo used to have such a sense of care and detail into everything that was put into it. We've gone so far backwards we can't even guarantee their UIs work 100% of the time. Great video!

@ValuableBlueberry I think it was due to the mini disadvantage of being in a middle of a animation lock or some bs like that CoD has so many assassination animations I lost count they should really bring these back for infinite. And the stupid part is it's all optional if you want to assassinate someone in cod lol
I find it so cool that the covenant have little tiny energy daggers, it makes sense too because Spartans carry a k bar knife for assassinations 4:51 so brutal, he gets uppercutted to the face by the sword 8:59 super brutal not only is the elite taking a k bar to the skull but blood splatters appear from machine gun fire too 10:00 mega brutal, he puts the k bar down the elites throat
I never knew the brutes had an assasination animation in all my 1000 of hours because they never stand still long enough to get to that position or they are just fully locked onto you so you can't get behind them
I just got my 360 to work and started playing halo reach and these assasinations work perfectly so if a 360 can run this then why can’t halo infinite run this shit???

The animations being blended into the gameplay instead of turning into a shifted camera angle is what made them great
