Traws Eryri day 1

I had the chance to ride the new Traws Eryri cycle trail in early October 2023. Along with my friends Richard and Ash we aimed to take three days to ride the route, camping out in the hills for two nights.
There’s no denying that the weather at the start of our journey was terrible. It had been raining all night and a large part of the first day was wet and windy. As we climbed higher in the hills the visibility dropped as the clouds and mist engulfed us. We didn’t get to see much on the first day!! Luckily for us the weather did improve over the next couple of days.
I’ve tried to include place names where I can and hope this helpful to anyone planning on riding the route.
