Yes, I love to watch you and your sister cook. I am 76 years old. I was never much of a cook or tried new things. When COVD hit, I found myself hunting new recipes and making bread. I have tried so many new things and love to cook and experiment. The old saying... you can't teach an old dog new tricks is a LIE. You are never too old to learn. Thank you.
@lindasmith5190 - I am a 74 year old farmers wife and going strong! My Instant Pot sits along side my 1930 kitchen wood stove. I use a bread machine when pressed for time. Always open for new tricks.
Laura you undoubtedly have italian ancestors considering the amount of cooking and baking you do on a daily basis!!!It's exactly what we do every single day here in Tuscany as well....but at the end of the day it's so rewarding to make good food for our family!!Bravissima❤
If you love Laura's family and cooking you may want to check out one of her sisters channel Farmhouse on Boone and her name is Lisa and wow she is awesome ❤
Laura I love watching you cook …I’m an accomplished cook…grandma now but I always laugh to myself because if I were doing all that cooking that you’re doing my whole kitchen would be a mess… you’re much better at that clean as you go routine than I have ever been Thanks for your great calming Vlogs and best of luck with your newest baby to be
Cooking from scratch really does save a lot of money! I hated it for a long time until I prayed and the more I got in my kitchen the more I began to love it!
Hi Laura, I follow a lot of people on youtube and you are one of the ones I look forward to watching. I like your style, you do a lot of showing and less talking, some people talk too much and show very little, I guess I am a visual person so I love when people show every step.. Thank you!
I love watching you cook from scratch, you’re right it does save a lot of money and you can make meals stretch that extra further. Your baby bump is growing fast 😌
Something about a baby bump in a pretty apron that warms my Mama heart. ❤ You are such a hard worker! We eat a lotta chicken curry over Jasmine rice at our house. Your sweet coconut chicken sounds delicious! Our kids looove blackberries. Keep up the great work! You're really doing something special with how you're raising your family. It always bring me joy to see. 😊
Cooking all of your meals from scratch is a healthy way to feed your family. My best friend had eight children. She was on a budget and made almost everything from scratch. I am post surgery and want to watch the additives in prepackaged foods. You are inspiring me to get out my Instant Pot and bread machine. Thank you for all the hard work you do for your family and in making these helpful videos. It make me smile to see the joy in your family. ~ Diane
I am new here tonight. I love your cooking. I was a frustrated cook because my husband wanted primarily meat and a few vegetables. My daughter and I suffered because we did not get the nutrients we needed because the money was spent on meat. I wanted to cook like this, but he did not appreciate it at all. So glad you are free to cook what you like and your whole family likes. Keep up the great work. Also, congratulations on the baby. ❤
Just love hearing your children in the background. Wish I could pull up a chair to one of your meals. You have exactly the same bread machine that I have. Was given to me yrs ago.
I so enjoyed your video today! Here in Nebraska we have a restaurant that started in Nebraska called "Runza". The "runza sandwich" is hamburger meat and cabbage cooked inside a wonderful bread shaped like a loaf. Some of the sandwiches vary with additional ingredients such as mushrooms, cheese, Italian flavoring etc. You'll have to Google it and see for yourself. Runzas are very popular here in Nebraska. Your baby is sure growing and I can't wait for his arrival. I wish I had your love and skill of cooking. You make it look so effortless and easy!! You are inspiring!!
We cook cabbage onion and ground beef and just eat it on a plate. We are in Nebraska so we call this Runza meat. We eat low carb so skip the great. Yum!
Love watching you cook, you always come up with so many great recipes I feel like I cook the same thing all the time but that’s ok we love it God bless
New subscriber. Seeing your bread machine, made me realsie how much I miss making my own bread, but I have had difficulty with exhaustion as I have Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, so I've not been able to make it, as I find it difficult to knead the dough. So I was inspired to buy a bread machine and it will be delivered this week.
All the meals you cooked looked fantastic. I had to laugh when I saw you.Put all of the vegetables in your meatloaf.Because I do that and I didn't think anyone else did. Just a little hint.Heat your milk up before you put it into your mashed potatoes. Then it will not cool them down and it tastes wonderful.
I get so happy on Fridays to get a video from Laura and Lisa. I'm so hungry now. I could eat every dish you cooked this week. Do you ever double dishes to have for left overs? Is there a day you wake up and just say I'm not cooking today. lol This was great. Ty so much Laura.
You do so much creative cooking from scratch. Recipes you’ve never done before. Does your husband ever say to not make something again? I can’t imagine my husband liking everything I might come up with. Even when we went out to eat he would order the thing he knew he would like from whichever restaurant we were in. 😊
I also put salsa in a lot of different foods i like it on baked chicken and roast beef while baking i add it to the boiling water for rice lots of different things and yes i always add it to my meatloaf as well 🙂
You are looking so healthy, I love watching you prepare your meals with love ❤️. I can say I would eat most of them and that’s a huge compliment because unfortunately I’m such a picky eater 😅❣️❣️
What’s nice about an investment in a Kitchen Aid is , they should last several generations. It can be passed down to your daughter who loves to bake, she can pass down as well. My daughter’s friend has her grandmothers original kitchen aid, her mother used it, now to her. If you are ever ready for one, include your daughter in choosing the many colors, would be fun for the two of you❤
Can you please share a link for the small spice jars you have sitting on the back of your stove? I would love to get some and transfer my spices from their ugly bottles to something like them.
Do you still dabble in essential oils? Or use them for cleaning or just the new products that sponsor your videos? Curious as I haven’t seen any newish videos where you talk about using your oils. I’m learning about the benefits of essential oils and saw a few of your old videos.
Yes, I still make all of my homemade skincare, haircare, laundry products etc. I make a lot of my cleaners too but when I don't want to DIY I use Blueland!
You are just amazing . I want to ask your opinion because I know you are very health conscious as I’m trying to be now. Are you concerned about using foil? I’ve been afraid because of the aluminum/ dementia link . I’d love your opinion

Always love your down to earth personality, you n your daughter should do a cooking segment together, that would be awesome ❤
This really touches my heart to see all the work you put into your meals. A job well done. 😊

My cousin, in Kingman, KS, has a flower shop and she makes light meals too. She often serves Bierocks. Are they similar to Runzas?

We saw a Runza last week when traveling through NE. We wondered what it was, now we know!

Where are the pretty white bowls from that you put the southwest chicken toppings in? All these meals sound delicious!
If you heat your milk and butter with some potato water it makes your potatoes so creamy! I love to add minced garlic too!

Laura, I cannot find the slow roasted moose and noodles recipe. How long did you cook the moose and at what temperature? Thanks
Just added the link to my description box.
Love watching you! Just one question: doesn't tap water kill the sourdough organisms because of the chemicals? Thanks!
She probably has well water. I do and there aren't any chemicals like chlorine etc in it.
We have well water.
I learned the housewife is so busy😮, but I think it is happy.
I use a pizza cutter to cut the noodle shape
What do you think inspired the creator to make this video?
