This came up as recommended on TH-cam and I'm so glad it did. I really like your combination of store bought and homemade ingredients. This was a great budget recipe video and I'm looking forward to checking out more! Subscribed ✔️
Thank you! It was a labor of love for sure. We actually put off the kitchen part of our Reno for years until the right plan fell into place. This was the dining room initially and my pantry was the original kitchen. We lived with painters tape on the floor in the shape of my cabinet design for months before we pulled the trigger and it worked out beautifully in the end. I’m so grateful that we didn’t rush it, or it would have been in a completely different location. Thanks for watching, and I hope to see you back soon!
I don't see how a MACHINE that has to be manufactured (with plenty of waste and pollution and transport) and WILL ABSOLUTELY end up in a landfill one day (or at least as "trash") is more "eco-friendly" than collecting food scraps in a bowl and throwing them on the backyard compost heap.
I really urge you all to speak to your local government to get rid of plastic bags in your supermarkets. We’ve gotten rid of them for the past 20 plus years and it shocks me to see it still in the states. Trying to live in an eco way is great but the amount of plastic in society is crazy and we don’t need it the composter looks great . I just use a bucket and compost heap but I know sone people prefer the dry method. Your meals looked lovely. Simple and tasty.
I’ve used it up until day 5 with zero issues. If you want it to last longer, or won’t get to it soon enough, freeze it in meal sized portions and pull it out as needed.
@@mariegriffin5516 this one came from my local Dollar General a few years ago! We use it a lot during super busy seasons, and less during others, but we’ve loved it. Sadly, I don’t know that this exact one is still available anywhere, but this one is the same concept. Hope this helps! amzn.to/3ACfR3n
No issues with salted foods in this composter at all. I’m not light on the salt when cooking and it’s still worked out beautifully! If you’re thinking about this one, definitely take advantage of the Black Friday sales going on this week!
Thank you for the recipes!
Wow! 😮 you have a beautiful kitchen and you are so calm behind a camera! These look delicious! 😮 Thanks for sharing!!
@@Loveofdecorating thank you for the kind words, and thank you for watching! Hope to see you back soon!

@@welcome_home_usa not everyone lives in an area where they can have a backyard compost heap.

How long does a rotisserie chicken last? I figured it was around three days max?

Is it good for composting to use food that already has had salt added to it?

@thehometownhomestead thank you for responding so quickly. I'll be looking into one for sure.
Did you ever get the stain out of that quilt?
I’ve still been to worried to try again, but maybe this is the push that I need! Thanks for checking in. I’ll update you on it soon!
