I love that attitude and perspective from Andrea. I have always liked children, but I was never baby-crazy. When I first became a mom, I was so surprised by how fulfilling and fun and joyous I found it. I was expecting a lot of thankless work (which there is!), but I had no idea I was going to laugh so much, learn so much, or just find new depths in myself when I fell in love with my children. Thank you for such a positive reminder of the joys of motherhood!
As a young mother of one, many years ago an older woman with 12 children told me if one child takes all your time, 12 won't take anymore. I'm old now, but I always remembered this. Mother's find the time for our children. Really enjoyed this.
This was a really enjoyable podcast with you girls. I would love to see one with your parents. They sound like lovely people who raised 4 wonderful daughters!! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and lives!! How nice to see Victor nod off to sleep in such a calm way. God bless each of you!
I really liked Andrea's advice on going as far as you can in labour. I ended up with an emergency c-section for pre-eclampsia and abrupted placenta BUT I know I tried everything possible to do what I could. I am very grateful for the modern medicine that saved our lives and know I did everything I could and sometimes it just is an emergency and you praise God for doctors!
Oh how I LOVE seeing you sisters together!! Just loved this! The discussion about why you are a close family had me rolling. "Yeah, Mom and Dad just took a trip to Colorado and they took the long way around! They had a happy stable marriage". My hubby and I have been married for almost 56 years and my husband retired 4 years ago from being an EMS helicopter pilot. We bought an RV and we travel all over the country. We have for years, but now when we go, we are gone for 4 to 6 wks at a time. That is because we are rekindling the great closeness we had BEFORE kids! LOL. Retirement is wonderful. We adore our kids and grandkids, but it's so great to just take off and go with no real set schedule and just enjoy God's nature and each other. We were so busy when our kids were home. And then grands, we get to do it all over again. All our kids live close and we are involved in our grands lives which is wonderful. That "Colorado" comment just cracked me up! Just wait!! Your time is coming. LOL
Oh goodness Decades away still for just Lisa She’ll have more but just that baby there is another 2 decades at home When u have a larger family ur 40 yrs raising kids easily.
I love that all you girls love to be together, my sister and I have always been that way, we would even take 11 children grocery shopping every week. People thought we were crazy but we thought it was fun, lol. We also took lots of our vacations together with all our kiddos and loved every moment. Now she's moved about 5 hours away and we see each other like once a month. Love it while you have it.
I just loved this video! For Andrea: I remember my 1st pregnancy well- the 14 weeks of morning sickness and fatigue, then the rest of my pregnancy was uneventful, then my long, natural laboring that ended up in a C-section- i never cared how she got into this world, just that I held her in my arms! That was 40 years ago and my other children were also delivered via c-section- no regrets or feeling like I “failed”, like Lisa said, thank goodness for modern medicine that helped deliver my healthy children. RE: self care- “self care” has turned into a selfish thing in my opinion because once you are married and have children, it’s about being selfless more than selfish- self care has gotten over blown; for me, I woke up about 2 hours before my household to exercise, study my Bible, shower and get ready for a busy day- yes, I did my make up and hair and dressed decently (no pj’s all day or sloppy clothes, jeans and button down blouses were my standard with an apron used when needed to avoid food stains)- those 2 hours were my time, then my husband got up and we had our time to discuss our day and just about stuff or do our budget before he got ready for work and I started breakfast for he and our children, then my kids went to bed by 7:30pm the husband and I would snuggle on the couch to watch a movie or a tv show and away to bed we would go to start it all over again. Feeling overwhelmed is natural, especially raising children, but it’s how one deals with it- you either control your response or it controls you. Lisa, your makeup is beautiful on you, it’s natural looking but enhances your natural YOU, don’t go too far down that rabbit hole when it comes to “all the make up”. Laura, I have learned so much about essential oils from you, you have a gift for it and I always search for new recipes. I would love to see all the sisters together AND your parents- I think I would be laughing all the way through that video!
I'm so enjoying this chat!! We just voted to keep the word Mother in our Irish constitution!! The government wanted to remove this only reference to mother and her duties in her home.... The people spoke!!
I ❤ that you have sisters and are sharing them with us!!! 😊 I don’t have sisters and raised my 3 daughters to be individual, but close by making them share a bedroom as young children. Mine are 2 years apart. As adults now they chat daily, share knowledge on various topics and really help us to navigate their individuality.
Ah so refreshing to hear as I am in my first trimester with my fourth! The nausea and exhaustion is just unreal! Hardly any cooking over here, school on the couch and the rest doesn’t matter right now 😮 I always remember someone telling me it’s good to teach the older kids how important rest is in seasons and that helps ❤
As a mom of 3 boys all grown and out of the house now😢 I just want to say that I adore you gals for doing these videos and podcasts. When my husband and I were raising our boys most of my “mom friends” worked outside the home and it was a time when stay at home moms had a lot of ‘guilt’ for not doing something ‘more’-“what do you do all day??!” OR “I would be so bored!” were the comments I used to get…I had one part time job at Gap Kids a couple nights a week mostly for the discount on clothes!😂 Thank you for allowing us to share your families and your day-to-day homemaking and child rearing, it is such a blessing to be able to stay home and raise your own children! Keep up the great job, God Bless you all.❤✝️
It was fun to see you sisters together. I had to laugh at you all 3 talking over each other all the time 😂😂. I have two sisters and when the three of us are together we do the same thing! Like we are so excited to jump into the conversation!? 😊
I 100% agree that your parents must have loved you and treated you equally. Parents that intentionally or unintentionally compare set up sibling rivalry. Love your family dynamics ❤️
Absolutely! There was a lot of triangulation going on in my family. I know this is the main reason why I have no relationship with any of my six siblings. So sad. So glad this isn't the case with all families.
YES. when you see siblings who get along like this you know the parents did something right. the "why can't you be more like your sister" comments not only make a child resent the parent- but also resent the sister. driving families apart.
Lisa, I don’t know how I didn’t know you had this other channel but I’m so glad I came across it! I subscribed as well as to both of your sisters’ channels. I’m happy to find some more content to watch/listen to throughout my day while I’m busy getting stuff done. This was so fun to listen to! 😊
I thought I knew Laura's voice well enough to listen to this just audio, then couldn't tell them apart!!! When I put on the video to watch the rest, I was so amazed at how Andrea looks like a perrrrfect blend of you two while sitting in the middle! So fun to have your sisters on! I am the youngest of six, five girls and one boy. I'm about to turn 32 and we are all close as adults, two of my sisters (12 yrs older and 7 yrs older) are my best friends now. 18 grandbabies and counting! This is my first comment so I'll also add, thank you SO MUCH Lisa, for being open about birth! I had my first with a midwife in a cottage in the woods, the second was unassisted at home, and the third just born on Dec 5 at home, again unassisted. I have been practicing yoga for over a decade and the Bradley Method is the same thing as the last part of every yoga class... I started watching your homemaking videos in my third tri and of course had to then get up to date on your birth stories. Well you fully sold me on the Bradley Method so I got that book and after reading it, my mind was blown. It's like duh, ok, it's going to happen the best thing is to literally do nothing and let it. Ok. When I read through the practices I realized I already had that exercise down, so I didn't practice relaxing but I did practice getting into the right position every night for a few min there towards the end. AMAZING BIRTH. She was nine and half lbs and posterior and after hearing ALL of your stories, I really focused so hard towards the end that I relaxed through transition and didn't realize it until I was pushing! Out in 3 or 4 pushes after a totally silent labor. It was back labor the whole time (I had back labor with my first and described it back then as butcher knives) and wow I just cannot share the power of the Bradley Method enough!!! Thank you again for "preaching" about it as you always say jokingly. I had a fantastic home birth with my second, the best I thought it could ever get, but wow, this third birth should have been a doozy and I literally looked like I was sleeping through the entire thing and then I suddenly yelled at my husband to come catch the baby! I caught my second baby myself and this time, I was on the toilet for a sec not realizing it was transition already and was suddenly doing a backbend and my husband caught her sunny side up and she was just peacefully there looking at me! I'm including that because I remember you had one sunny side up! I love your channel, thank you so much for what you are willing to share with so many
Thank you for your videos Lisa! You have really inspired me so much. I appreciate you sharing your motherhood journey, cooking recipes, homemaking, home renovation and more. Because of you, I now make sourdough and am going to baby wear. Listening to your videos and podcasts always makes my day!
Hey! To find out how the sex of a baby is determined read “Taking charge of Your Fertility”. The sex is determined by the sperm and where you are in your cycle.
This was so fun; watching the commaraderie between the three of you and listening to the laughter...it just brought joy to my heart. I've been following Lisa the longest and then got hooked on Laura, and now Andrea (cannot wait to visit her YT channel). I'm 75 with adult children and several young adult grandchildren, but I still gain so much inspiration watching you guys. I simply refer to you as "The Sisters" when I'm sharing some tidbit of info with my hubby. Thank you for bringing to light the "art of homemaking."
Yes! Have your parents on! Maybe an improvised casual short video on a Sunday when you all meet! Ask them a few questions and let them know how much we all appreciate them raising all you wonderful women!!
You are so right about the parents' enjoyment of one another sets the tone for the whole family. I was raised with a lot of tension and disdain between my parents, so being all together as a family was tense and painful and a relief when it was over. To this day, my siblings and I have nothing in common and no relationship. Im trying to set a much happier and healthier tone for my own family.
Very much enjoyed listening to you and your sisters, I too have three sisters- we are blessed. But that baby boy and this cheeks totally had my attention. When your sister was talking about child birth he just seemed to be listening so intently. And then as he became sleepy- so sweet.
I love this episode. How lucky you are to have a close relationship like you do! When Victor (he is gorgeous) was looking at Laura it was the sweetest. Enjoy all your channels!
This was absolutely heart warming ♥️! I hope one day you can get all 4 of you together and it would be a treasure to have a sit down with your parents if they would be up for that. I have all brothers so watching you girls together was so fun! Mom of 1 daughter and 3 boys all grown and now 7 grandbabies. Thank you for sharing ❤️
What a treat to hear and see all three of you together! Kudos to your parents for raising children with such a wonderful spirit of mental strength and consistency. Thank you for sharing these glimpses into the beauty of being a godly wife and homemaker. The world needs to see this beautiful role that God has created for us. What a privilege when we are able to focus fully on it!
Lisa, Laura, & Andrea! Thank you! What a delightful show! Loved the family stories of your childhood as well As the stories of your lives now! Just a delight to watch!!
I have 7 brothers and they’re all adults and to this day when we’re all together they always end up wrestling each other. It’s amazing! I have one girl and another on the way so I’m excited for the change haha!
I have three girls (one is 6mo, so cant speak for her yet)☺️ ... and they're wrestling all the time, lol. With their dad and each other! I was that way growing up, though.❤
Oh my! I can almost imagine that… I have 7 younger siblings - six boys and one sister in the middle of them. :) My sister just married and moved away, so I’m left with the boys. It’s nothing for us to just walk by each other and give an affectionate punch in the shoulder. I joke that’s our way of saying, “I love you.”
On the subject of birthing, my husband and I were very diligent in working on relaxing. He would tickle me and I’d breathe thru the urge to laugh or be uncomfortable. I was so relaxed for both of my daughter’s birth.
Thank you for recommending the Bradley Method! Used it, with support from Hubby, for our second birth this January and was able to have a cozy-in-bed, unmedicated home birth after an awful hospital birth with my first! ❤❤❤ Didn’t have to leave the house for 2 weeks and could rest at home with our little bundle 🎉 Became a home birth gal for life
Love this video! Love that you all compliment each other! Wish we could see Ashley and your mom on one, too! You all are surely blessed!🥰❤️ Thank you for sharing!❤️
Thank you for talking about how first trimester was a struggle! I’m 11 weeks with my 4th baby and have been feeling guilty about slacking on homemaking and buying more store bought food when I’ve tried so hard to provide my family with healthy things. Thank you for the encouragement! I feel very much at peace with giving myself some grace till this part passes.
Wow, I'm laughing along with you 3. Loving this. I must say, you are all 3 very relatable. I'm also a stay at home mom, so I'm quite observant of your approaches to running a house hold. It's something I fell in love with as well, and learned it from many strong women in my life-from my Nonna, to my mother, to my mother-in-law, to a few other women, whom all inspired me to be who I am today. Finding yourself through child raising and running a good tight household is amazing and cheers to you all.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVED this chat ! ! Just subscribed to Andrea's channel. Can't wait to get caught up with her ! What a great family and now families of your own ! Great job Mom and Dad ! !
I loved this episode. I agree with your point about getting through the third trimester... The first trimester is when I need the most rest and help around the house to keep things running smoothly. Also cleaning as you see helps a lot but I also love the Home Planner from The Passionate Penny Pincher for weekly reminders and monthly checklists that aren't "normal" daily tasks.
Perfect I loved it. My only suggestion is pass the phone to the different sisters and let them each read a question. And comment first. Going on to watch sweet sunny days and hopefully subscribe to it.❤😂
Were you girls homeschooled? We want to meet your parents. 😂 We have 7 girls and 2 boys. The girls all are close the boys are 8 years apart and are so different. They don't see eye to eye. The girls prefer to be with their sisters. 36 is the oldest youngest is 12. All from the same dad. We homeschooled 29 years now. Love it!!❤
I have found (and some research suggests) that sisters do tend to stay closer throughout life BUT they fight a lot more. whereas brothers tend to be more ambivalent, friendly, but not super close, cordial relationships. basically you get "hot and cold" with sisters and Luke warm with brothers ON AVERAGE lol.
My sister and I are opposites. (8 years apart, with six brothers) We aren’t extremely close, but still love each other dearly and keep in touch. It just is what it is.
Y'all are all just good good people I respect all y'all do your drive and determination its just awesome and I use that word truly alotvon watching these videos I love it
Another Bradley method believer here!! So glad to know there are others out there too. I def preach it wherever I go also!! So lovely seeing you three together. 🖤🖤🖤
I really enjoy all of your channels! I first discovered Farmhouse Boone and fell in love with Lisa then when I discovered my Oily House and heard the voice and looked I was like they have to be Sisters! Love you ladies and enjoy each of your channels!!
Victor is so fascinated of Lara 😅. How he is focussing on her all the time. So cute. It was very interesting to see all of you together. Greetings from Berlin Germany from Nadine
Loved this video ladies!! Thank you for taking the time for us! I think little man is over the mom talk 🤣 he’s being such a good baby though ❤he couldn’t take his eyes off of Laura! You have a new follower Our sweet Sunny says! ☀️ ❤
You guys are so much fun! I absolutely loved listening to this episode! It reminded me of my sisters and I (I’m the youngest of 6- 5 girls and 1 boy). Most of my sisters live in the UK and I’m all the way in Texas so I miss getting together so much. Thank you for making me smile today!
I really enjoyed watching you girls talking about yourselves and your families!!!! I follow Lisa and Laura and now I can follow your sister !!! Lisa the baby is adorable and he was so good sitting there !!!! He is getting so big !!!!
Andrea is doing so good as a first time mom! I struggled A LOT with my first, I just could not get on a schedule and routine and life felt like a mess for months and I definitely did not enjoy that first year of motherhood.
I wish I had more kids. I have 2 sons and when I decided I wanted more I was 38 and I couldn’t get pregnant again. Now I wait for grandkids!! Love your family
This was a great discussion! I especially loved hearing your views on motherhood from several different stages. I look forward to any future videos with your sisters! ❤️
I have a 2yo girl with another girl on the way. I'm so happy to give the girls each other (and hopefully more siblings). I have one brother who is quite a bit older than me; we are pretty close, but it kind of makes me sad that I never experienced this sisterly bond growing up.
I was listening to this on Spotify and had to come see the video so I could see you all! I love all your podcast episodes but the difference in tone while talking to your sisters is so familiar and funny. I have three sisters and you all sound just like us talking together! Especially the comments about your parents taking the long way to Colorado 😂
Wow love all your videos and just added your young sister to watch I’ve been following you when you first started then added oily house in the beginning too love all your creativity and all you do my kiddos and I love you all. ❤
Have your parents on and discuss their lives growing together and how it was for them raising their girls.
Yes! Please!
Yes!!
Oh yes
Watching Victor dozing off..so precious.🥹🫶🏻
Came to comment the same thing. Sweet boy!
As a young mother of one, many years ago an older woman with 12 children told me if one child takes all your time, 12 won't take anymore. I'm old now, but I always remembered this. Mother's find the time for our children. Really enjoyed this.
Love to see a Sunday dinner video over their parents house.❤
“The best 6 months of my life”! Yes!! Taking care of your baby is the greatest! I agree!
I absolutely 💯 % love that you're not afraid to discretely feed your child. I nursed my kids when and where they needed to be fed. I applaud you. ❤😊
This was a really enjoyable podcast with you girls. I would love to see one with your parents. They sound like lovely people who raised 4 wonderful daughters!! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and lives!! How nice to see Victor nod off to sleep in such a calm way. God bless each of you!
OMG! When I saw your sisters I immediately thought they were twins!
And their voices sound so much alike!!
I thought the same thing!
They do look a lot alike!
I think Andrea sounds like Lisa on her channel but looks like Laura's twin 😊
They do look a lot alike.
Really fun seeing and listening to the three of you together. Sounds like you have a great relationship with each other. Great way to start my day.
I would love a podcast with just all the sisters chatting! I just love this so much!
Okay…now y’all have to interview your parents!
And their other sister!
Yes! to both ideas!
Yes!!!!
Yes!

Agreed! Please interview your parents next! Love your family! Your patents must be so happy and proud of their grown children

🙋♀️mee lol 😂
Me too!!😂

Oh my gosh victor is absolutely adorable! Those cheeks! Loved watching you 3 sisters. I always wished I had at least one sister. Awesome video.

THANK YOU LISA FOR BEING YOU!
👍🏻❤👏🏻🙂🙏🏻
Very much enjoyed listening to you and your sisters, I too have three sisters- we are blessed. But that baby boy and this cheeks totally had my attention. When your sister was talking about child birth he just seemed to be listening so intently. And then as he became sleepy- so sweet.
Love this video and can’t wait for the next one that includes the missing sister.
Love you all the together , Lisa inspired me so much in my homemaking journey , and I’m all the way here on Ecuador 🇪🇨 😊
Loved the family stories of your childhood as well
As the stories of your lives now! Just a delight to watch!!
Thank you so much!
I had girl, boy boy boy and the difference is ASTONISHING. she's been begging me for a sister for a while now lol. she's finally getting one this may!
You all were so fun to listen to. I had so much fun watching Victor….he is sooo cute.✨
Thank you for recommending the Bradley Method! Used it, with support from Hubby, for our second birth this January and was able to have a cozy-in-bed, unmedicated home birth after an awful hospital birth with my first! ❤❤❤ Didn’t have to leave the house for 2 weeks and could rest at home with our little bundle 🎉 Became a home birth gal for life
Congratulations!!!
Love this video! Love that you all compliment each other! Wish we could see Ashley and your mom on one, too! You all are surely blessed!🥰❤️
Thank you for sharing!❤️
How precious. Sisters are special. Hey Victor you are getting to be a big boy. STTB
I just found Andrea’s channel and just knew she was yours! I’m 65 and I loved her sewing inspiration! Keep it up ladies!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVED this chat ! ! Just subscribed to Andrea's channel. Can't wait to get caught up with her ! What a great family and now families of your own ! Great job Mom and Dad ! !
Yay! Thank you!
I love this, I have 3 sisters, all younger than me & it is way too fun being together! Thanks so much Lisa for sharing this time together! ❤
I have a 40yo and a soon to be 17yo
I hear ya lol
My friends have the same thing
My gma had babies along with her older daughter in laws lol
My sister and I are opposites. (8 years apart, with six brothers) We aren’t extremely close, but still love each other dearly and keep in touch. It just is what it is.
@@Rosie_C my sister and I get along but a agree- we're not super close- something I always more so attributed to the large age gap we have (10 years)
We were not homeschooled.
Y'all are all just good good people I respect all y'all do your drive and determination its just awesome and I use that word truly alotvon watching these videos I love it
Love seeing you sisters talking together, how lovely 🥰
Another Bradley method believer here!! So glad to know there are others out there too. I def preach it wherever I go also!! So lovely seeing you three together. 🖤🖤🖤

I really enjoy all of your channels! I first discovered Farmhouse Boone and fell in love with Lisa then when I discovered my Oily House and heard the voice and looked I was like they have to be Sisters! Love you ladies and enjoy each of your channels!!
Loved and enjoyed this so much. An episode with Ashley and/or your parents would be awesome. Love you all.❤
Victor is so fascinated of Lara 😅. How he is focussing on her all the time. So cute. It was very interesting to see all of you together. Greetings from Berlin Germany from Nadine
I noticed that, too. One time Laura smiled while talking in his direction and he gave a little smile back. So sweet! ❤
I agree w your sis!! I feel like when my baby is born I will get a lot more done
I would love to see your parents home and an interview with them!

This was great! I love you all. We need to meet your other sister and your parents. They've got to be amazing.

Interview your parents and your other sister please. This was fun. Thanks! (Laura and Andrea look so much alike)
So glad you enjoyed it! It would be hard to be away from all of my sisters.
Love all of your channels! ☺
Andrea, so glad you finally got your oven! 💚
I hope you all do more of these get togethers. It's interesting learning about your families.
The baby is so cute at 27:00 listening so intently :)
Wow! I followed our oily house way before I found Lisa and I just found out today that you are sisters. Mind blown! Love you all

Thanks for sharing, as everyone has different experiences for sure.
Loved this video! It is wonderful to see y'all together. You need to have another one and include Ashley. ❤
Oh my life! You girls are so delightful and your amazing parents raised you all so wonderfully! Hugs from New Zealand 🤗 💛🎊
I love watching all your channels, Its wonderful that you are all so close to one another. Loved the video and hi from Australia
this was so sweet! i come from a big family, lots of sisters and this feels very natural! i’m all for combo family videos
This has been fantastic seeing you all together!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow your sisters have the exact same voice! ♥️🫶🏻thank you for sharing this video, loved it!
I am so glad you mentioned Andreas channel! I went over there and I have to say she is great! Love her personality, she has personality plus!!
I have a 2yo girl with another girl on the way. I'm so happy to give the girls each other (and hopefully more siblings). I have one brother who is quite a bit older than me; we are pretty close, but it kind of makes me sad that I never experienced this sisterly bond growing up.
That is the chillest baby. So cute ❤
First time meeting your sisters. I just started watching but now I wanna meet your mom!!
I was labouring for 12 hours and was given 2 bags of blood and have a c-section but it was surprisingly calm labour, as much ac i can remember
♥all of you ladies don't hesitate to do this more often it is very interesting and entertaining ♥
I loved this podcast with your sisters! Your lil guy is just precious!
Andrea and Laura could totally pass for twins! It’s like seeing double! ❤
So fun to see your sisters! Great chat! Thanks ladies!
Our pleasure!
