Not sure I'm allowed to put this, but I'm from Indiana and the clay bowls are made here (have been for 100 years) at a place called Clay City Pottery Stoneware. They have every size, type etc. Great meals.
I agree , love the sounds of children. When I have my younger grandchild and the only great granddaughter , I enjoy their conversations. Please continue . Such great videos Laura
Watching while sipping a strawberry smoothie from 2023’s strawberry harvest that I froze - we had a power outage for 36 hours and I found 4 gallon bags of strawberries in the box freezer. Glad I have a generator, but always fun to ‘eat what’s on hand’. 😊
I just love to watch your videos because you are always cooking and you have some really good recipes! Love hearing your kids in the background! May God bless you and your family Thanks for sharing
Laura, it was soo fun running into you this last week and getting to meet you! Watching your videos and your sisters videos helps me manage my home and meals better! Especially since we all have about the same number of kids with similar ages. Thank you!
Your kitchen looks so cute! Love your decorating! Bowls that are similar to the antiques you have are made by Mason and Cash. Pricey, but very nice! Have a great weekend!
Hello, love watching you cook. Makes it look so easy and fun. Can you please share your recipe for the pastry dough you used in the quiche? Looks so easy. I have trouble doing doughs. Thank you ❤
Where is the recipe for the spray cleaner you use? I am enjoying watching your videos. I just discovered you on TH-cam. You are definitely a wonderful Mother/ Cook 😊
Love it Vids. I must say U such a Trooper. I Admire U for being such a Great Mother on an Open Forum because People r At Times so judgemental and Cruel. I Could Not do it of course I am such a Private Person. I get such a Kick out of All the Recipes and ur Quiet Spirit. Keep up the Great Work and Keep it Pushing, U Guys Rock!
Thank you for the videos. I had an epiphany today watching you make the french toast casserole, which I have seen made many times and have read numerous recipes, but never made--BUT, YES, I HAVE. It is literally a bread pudding! My children would never eat bread pudding--I think the name put them off. But french toast casserole, they would have loved. I am a great-grandma now with no littles at home, but, oh, boy, I wish I had thought of this 40 years ago! AARGH! French toast casserole = bread pudding. Genius!
The closest to your bowls that I have found is Ohio Stoneware. Made in Ohio and they are amazing. My dear husband got me a set of three for Christmas this past year ❤️💜
I have a bowl like your tan bowl. It came from my Grandmother. I am 70 so I sure the bowl may be maybe not quite as old, may be 50 or 60 years, really no idea. I like it also but heavy. 😍
You serve such hearty meals, so I’m wondering if your kids snack very much during the day? I admire your cooking and parenting skills. You get so much work done during each day. It’s great that your husband and you work well together and “get the job done”. Debi in Vicksburg, MS. 🥰🥰
All your food you made looks so delicious Laura! I'm going to try to make the breakfast you just made! You're looking really well Laura, and pretty too! Take care of yourself!
Couldn't find your spray dishsoap recipe. Would love it! Always love following along to get inspired to try new recipes!! You are an amazing cook!! Thank you!!
I love runny eggs too😄 The Quiche looks delicious! But it all looked delicious😋 I just enjoy watching your videos, no matter the content they're just enjoyable to me.. and as always, thanks for sharing!😊
This was such an awesome video. It made me wish I was at your dining room table for every meal. Also I really love your flowered top under your sweater !
I always giggle a bit when I watch your videos and you are wiping the counters down. I am the same way with my kitchen…I am constantly wiping everything!
Hello I hope you get to see this message I love everything you do you truly inspire me, I would love to know where you buy your spice jars and do you have a link? Thank you have a wonderful day ❤
I just found you and just love you and your videos and family you make things easy. and you dont walk around holding your belly geez some of these other ladies on youtube just drive me crazy with that like I get it i was once prego and would touch my stomach here and there but some of these ladies just do it tooooo much. maybe im weird idk but i just love you thank you for everything you do.
What is your pie crust recipe? I didn’t see measurements or approximations, but I’d like to be able to try making pie crust without rolling it out first!
Maybe I missed it, but do you have the recipe available for the pie crust you used for the quiche? I love quiche, but making my normal pie crust is one of those mental walls for me. I don't know why, because it's so easy lol
Do you think youlle do a pregnancy update sometime? Pregnant here with my 5th and still having so much anxiety over birth. I’ve done homebirths but always feel like birth is so daunting. Do you think the Bradley method is the key to overcoming that?
My little ones are sooo hungry (actually, hangry) in the morning. How do make things fast enough without having to wake early? For my oatmeal casserole, I have to put it in the oven before the kids get up or I’m in trouble 😅
Your meals looked delicious. I want to try the French toast casserole. I wonder why when doing dishes you leave the water running instead of filling your sink with soapy water. It’s such a waste of water especially when there might be water shortages.
I wash my dishes that way too, I just leave the water running. We personally have well water out here in the country here in Missouri so it’s not an issue.
@@ChelseaNichole2911 Your well water is not a never ending supply. You mention vanilla in your video that gets added into your french toast casserole but its not listed on the actual recipe. Is that missing from the recipe?? I just made this and haven't baked yet hopefully its ok without vanilla.
@@ouroilyhouse yes thanks! it was delicious. I have a similar recipe that takes more ingredients including much more sugar and though that has its place, your recipe is such a great fast, and healthier option recipe.
If your eggs are fresh, did you wash them, and do they need to be in the refrigerator? So why do they always sit on the counter? Are they dirty eggs that you then crack without washing?
Unwashed eggs can sit on the counter for up to 6wks because they have a protective coating on the outside called the "bloom". Once they're washed they have to be refrigerated....and typically if the nesting boxes are clean, most folks don't wash the eggs before cracking them :)
Neither does her sister, they put one in, (Lisa) in case they decide to sell someday. I could not do all the dishes.. can’t imagine all the dishes from a meal. But, I guess we did get through the first 25 years of our marriage without one..our boys helped do dishes, but I would die if anything happened to my dishwasher now!
I believe she started her page making oils and soaps. She just decided not to change it when she included other things. She still makes the oils and soaps.
Would love if you put your mom on the show she raised such amazing women. Just a thought.
This!
Oh my gosh! I absolutely agree with you! I think she needs to go on Lisa’s podcast with these two girls and spill the beans😉❤
Absolutely spectacular food! You rock 🙌🏻🙌🏻🌟🌟🌟
Yes I agree too, her daughter's are a blessing ❤
I have thought the same thing!
Not sure I'm allowed to put this, but I'm from Indiana and the clay bowls are made here (have been for 100 years) at a place called Clay City Pottery Stoneware. They have every size, type etc. Great meals.
I love hearing the boys playing in the background! Mine are in their late 30’s now…the sound was very nostalgic!
It is pretty sweet 🥰🥰🥰

We call that kind of bowl a ‘cobbler bowl’. I have several family heirlooms like this and we always make our cobblers in them.
Love how simple you make everything ❤
Thank you!
I love seeing you cook. Love hearing the children too. Would love the recipe for the quiche, please. I’m going to buy a bread machine.
Ditto to quiche crust recipe!

The bowl that you are talking about is a vintage stoneware. They are really heavy and made thick.
Oh I’d so appreciate your quiche crust recipe! Would you be willing to share?
I love hearing the kiddos in the background!
Rinsing the starch off the shredded potatoes also helps them get crispy and not just stick together.
I love your kitchen. So organized!

I use my canning funnel to pour my yogurt (or anything) into jars. Makes the job so much easier and less messy.
I need one of those!!

Such delicious food!!! You are an inspiration.
We make a double bath of Dutch baby and bacon or sausage on Saturdays and then reheat those Sunday mornings while we get dressed for church!
Oh great idea!!
The quiche is really like an egg scramble in crust… looks amazing I just usually think of quiche with heavy cream. :-)
This was such an awesome video. It made me wish I was at your dining room table for every meal. Also I really love your flowered top under your sweater !

I'd love to have your quiche crust recipe. I didn't find it in your links. Looks so easy.
Probably same as her pie crust recipe
hey girl- loved the video!☺ yummy food! Y'all have a blessed weekend🥰
Please help. This crust looks so simple but can you direct me to where I can find the exact measurements ?? Thanks So much.

I feel like grating blocks of cheese is the most difficult thing - it just crumbles and doesn’t shred well. Any tips?😅
Could you please share the recipe for the quiche crust?
I always put the cheese and meat on bottom -keeps it from getting mushy
For Quiche- what are the measurements for the crust and at what temp do we bake it and for how long?
What is your pie crust recipe? I didn’t see measurements or approximations, but I’d like to be able to try making pie crust without rolling it out first!
Where can I get a bread knife like yours?
Love this channel, I also watch your sister Farmhouse on boone
Love your channel
Do you buy your spices in bulk and lots of other foods
I would love to have breakfast at your house!
I just love you and your sisters! Now I’m hungry for hash browns 🤣
Like I said on your sister's vlog this week. Just come cook for me!! 😁😁
🤣🤣🤣
Maybe I missed it, but do you have the recipe available for the pie crust you used for the quiche? I love quiche, but making my normal pie crust is one of those mental walls for me. I don't know why, because it's so easy lol
I will have to measure next time 😬

Which cheddar cheese did you order from Azure Standard? There are several on their website? This will be my very 1st order. ❤❤❤
It's the raw cheddar cheese.
What brand blender do you use, it really looks heavy duty!!
Ninja
Where did you get your kitchen lamps? So cute!
Both thrifted!

Our family could eat breakfast 3 meals a day. I'm looking for so many ways that we can eat eggs because our chickens are laying A LOT lately. 😮
Beast breakfast in the world is buttered toast with over easy fried eggs:)
Enjoyed this video very much, Laura! Thanks for sharing! 🩷 xo

I am searching for that also to make the quiche
Question - do you not wash your eggs before you use them? I saw you grab them off the counter and crack them. We just got chickens!
I don't unless they are really dirty.
I would love to know why you don't have a dishwasher.

Thank you- I almost didn’t watch the first time it came up because I thought who wants to see an oily house? Curiosity won and now I enjoy🙂
May I please be invited over for breakfast from now on, please? ❤ Thanks! 😂

I’m surprised you don’t rinse your shredded potatoes…..they’re do much better when you do
