Final Fantasy VIII How do get a lot of AP fast and max out your GF ability

In order for GFs to learn new abilities, they need AP. Here's a place you can farm towards the end of the game that has plenty of AP

It’s on an island of cactus, if you’re playing the HD versions on modern consoles, there are boosters you can use to have limit brakes all the time. Noah’s dog limit break usually defeats some in one hit.
