Part 1: • Assassin's Creed 4: Ma...
Part 2: • Assassin's Creed 4: Ma...
You know you've played to much ac4 when you start singing along with the shanty at the end of the video.
Yey! Me too!
best AC ever. EVER.
i have play all AC series before but this is the awesomest game of the AC series
i'm disappointed they didn't talk about creating the character visually and the voice acting like they did with connor. would've been an interesting part of the video
Respect sir, respect. I'm a computer science major and I've taken several game design/ 3D programming classes and animation type stuff and I have to say, making a video game is possibly the most challenging (but REWARDING) job you could possibly do. And in the advanced programming classes I've taken, we've barely dabbled in 2D html5 games. Anyone who devotes their lives to designing these types of games deserves the absolute respect of their customers, no exceptions.
I really love the atmosphere and mood created by this game. It really feels like this could be better than AC2.
It is overall better
I really admire the large amount of thought that they put into every aspect of this game. It really shows when you are playing the game.
i cannot describe ac4 black flag with words just love the game more than love the game i live the game
I was playing AC2 and Brotherhood yesterday, and I really think they need to bring back strafing, dodging, kicking, and of course grabbing an enemy so you can slit his throat! Combat needs a bigger variety of moves. I've had enough of endless counter-kills with Connor. And Edward should definitely be able to taunt in combat! He's a pirate!
This game looks stunning and i have been a big fan of the AC series ever since the first one came out. This games graphics will look stunning on the new Xbox One
This game has changed my life. ♥
0:32 and we had this incredible cast....
OMG THAT ACCENT THO xd
Love the song at the end i cannot wait for the pirate music in this game
It's really nice to see a Welshman play the lead of a huge game series, should be good!
Looks... good. I honestly thought they were just milking the franchise (and they are), but it looks like even when they are, they still put a lot of effort into making their games.
Cant wait. This is my first ps4 game for sure!!
The combat in AC Brotherhood was the most fun in my opinion; it was challenging and felt rewarding, so I hope it's actually fun and hard to master in AC4.
True, but Connor lost much very early in his childhood, and had to grow up with an old man and train every day. Ezio grew up taking all the chances a noble could have in enjoying life. Tragedy came later, but he knew how good life can be because he has experienced it firsthand. Sorry for potencial spelling errors.
I agree, the classic assassins creed stories (AC1, 2, BROTHERHOOD) won more awards for a reason, they are unique, engaging, and they give you that beautiful game feel that very little game franchises can achieve. But from then on they were kind of going downhill. Although, I have a good feeling about this one.
Nice.It reminds me of how excited i was of AC2....I'm more excited this time...
I think it's because Connor didn't really learn from what he had done throughout the story. Only when Connor is in front of his mentors grave he starts to talk real sense. This makes it much harder to relate to him than for example Ezio whose development we experienced over the course of the story. From hatred to understanding and honoring his enemies.
But this is still just my opinion :)
I cant wait until this game comes out it looks awesome and he has tow swords
Also the line:"Nothing is true, Everything is permitted" is the line of all the assassin's not just Altair, Ezio says it multiple times.
I don't know why they are talking about the animations in this game because they are practically the same from Assassin's Creed 3. There are new animations with the dual cutlass and the four flintlock pistols, but that is pretty much it. But I am most impressed by the pistol animations. It takes out enemies quickly while looking good doing it.
This is my favorite assassins creed
Oh man !!! AC series is the greatest of all time , I can't wait to buy the Black Chest Edition for PS4
Awesome video we're getting close to playing it.
They didn't develop it in a year. Black Flag has been in development for around three years now. Ubisoft is a vast company, and they split it into various teams so that they can numerous titles in development at any given time.
The downside is that it can be harder to react to feedback from the last game when using a process like this, but still possible.
If Conner and Edward came together and learned each other's skills that would be badass. Or if there was a child born into the guild and he had learned at a young age to be an assassin making the game longer and more intense as the chil got older. I would want it to relate to the new coming black assassin that I think is Edwards second man. That would be cool lol
With all the delays lately, this game is the last launch title I'm excited for
pirate movie or games always look soo good
Well, if they do, it would have to be on the POV of Haytham. While the premise of AC4 is that you are an employee of Abstergo trying to make (or fix) a video game based on the memories of Edward Kenway, you can only follow a specific ancestor until the next one in your bloodline is conceived. It's only a few days away. We'll find out soon enough.
I thoroughly enjoyed AC4. AC3 almost ruined the franchise for me. Glad to be having fun with it again here. Bring on AC5!
Yop
I know right ?! Rolls right off the tongue.
I think I was a pirate in a past life. I feel a deep connection to them. Because they fucking RULE!
Because the number of sales from each game demonstrates that lots of people still want more AC action. ACIII sold 12.5 million in just six months, after all.
So, Ubisoft want the money, and people still want the game. Sounds like a win-win for Ubisoft and for the series fans.
Personally, I've got some serious reservations about how much they can run with this series when a new game is out every year, but Black Flag looks like it could do very well. I'm looking forward to it.
Pre ordered it today, cant wait!
9 days can not wait
I liked Connor, not as much as Ezio, but still I liked him because he did have some qualities other assassins did not. He is probably the most humble of the assassins and the most loyal to the creed, his only fault is that he is naive. But to a certain extent I agree with you.
Awesome video!
we seriosly need 1 more connor game because he's awesome
Can't wait for this game! :) Doing a full lets play of it from day of release!
they actually fixed that in the driver updates, most people don't bother to update driver ,AC 3 ran even on the lowest card quite smoothly , something do with new Anviel Engine
I think an assassins creed game set during the spanish armada in England would be good. You'd get the sailing and firearms, as well as horse combat.
Or set in Portugal during globalization / spice trade etc would be sick
My favorite assassins creed game!!!!!
Gonna be awesome! I love pirate lore..and I love Assassins Creed!!
I've only played a few AC's but I really kinda feel that no one's gonna be better swordsman than Edward.
I say a Chinese assassin. It'd open up for a bigger world than japan would. And it'd be more artistically beautiful, with a lot less grit and shadow, and a lot more high-flying feats of acrobatics, beautiful diverse combat, and awesome locations for which one could parkour through.
One more week left and im about to die of waiting
Well it doesn't need to specifically be medieval armor. Just something that acts like it that was used during the timeline of the game.
Which is why it is still the best Assassins Creed and of course because Patrice Desilets still worked on that.
Who basically is the father of Assassins Creed.
Nothing was wrong with Ac3. It's what made me love the series.
Ive got the hole set and i know it just gets better evert time
Still fights like a beast.
Problem is, the game is constricted to what they actually wore during those days. They can push the fictional aspect of it (like with Ezio's armor, which doesn't really look like any of the extant armor made during the period), but in Connor's case, it would just look weird, seeing as guns are already being used and armor is basically useless in the type of battle he was in.
That was true for the last few launches, it's hard to account for that, but it's being optimized for Nvidia systems, so the AC4 PC release should actually be pretty smooth and nice :D
ac 2 was my favorite this game looks awesome
6 days I can't wait!!!
With watch dogs delayed I'm definitely getting this game at launch with the ps4.
Alot of things in AC4 remind me far cry 3 :)
it's almost here
Seriously why do you think this? Darby and Ashraf seem to be genuinely excited to see people's reaction to this game. They have a long story arc that they have PLANNED. I don't get why people say this. The Assassin templar war goes on through all of history and each new saga we see is brilliant. I don't see how people get tired of it or think that they are just "milking the franchise."
ha. talking about pirate bay on this video is quite fitting! :)
It's a fair point, but can also be viewed from another angle: ACIII sold 12.5 million in six months, and Ubisoft are predicting 10-million for Black Flag, so we can thus assume that people are still enjoying the series and want more.
1) It's kind of a universal Native American thing to be stoic. Kind of. In most cultures, yes. As well, you often get people who don't quite fit the culture.
2) Connor does have emotion, just it's more subdued. It's less in vocal and facial expression, and more in his arms and torso. Not sure if that quite explains it, but it's good enough I suppose.
That would be awesome! especially the cherry blossom trees japan has to offer. The graphics would be amazing.
The first 3 assassins creeds + brotherhood were the best. Altair and ezio were great, I didn't really like the last one especially the counter the old right trigger way was fun.
Altair:was zealous at proforming his duty which was mistaken by many as both naivety and arrogance.although you could fool him into carrying out a task it didn't take him long to catch on and you find it difficult to do so next time. He'd easily question any orders given to him if he felt it warrented a valid reason to carry it out.Conner on the other hand was Naïve as hell! Watching him reminded me of a child trying to make sense the world.
7:33. puts sword trough face and then punches face right after that....i'm sold >:D
This game hasn't even been developed in a year, they've been working on this game since not that far into ACIII development. It would take even longer to make had they started from scratch. Next gen tech will take a while to actually be used.
the gameplay in ac4 is by far the best in the series.
AC 5: return to its roots
The kenway, auditore, and altair lines are all separate from each other (meaning ezio isnt the great great great great great grandson of altair and same for the kenways). the family line would be something like this: the kenway line mightve of been his grandmothers, the auditore wouldve been his grandfathers, and the altair line would be his other grandfathers. (something like that) and all the family lines converge on Desmond.
Just the pure fact tht Ac4 is Real Open World with no loading makes me want to play it but combat nd story nd hopefully MP are all great
For Connor it was more of, "what would you have me do?" and in an angry snarl, "where's Charles Lee?"
the song at the end is awesome haha
Looks pretty awesome definately getting this but for the ps3
This IGN-exclusive coverage pretty much guarantee a good review from IGN.
I JUST CAN'T WAIT
this is one of the best AC games, tank you so fucking much ubisoft for this :')
I'm getting the sense Edward won't have the same problem. Reason being is all the talk about his character development from Vidocs like these. While Connor on the other hand didn't get that much attention on how his character was going to be in the end product.
ahhh, i wish they gave edward a badass voice like, a scottish one or something. or a voice similiar to russell crowes, when he was younger though
That's the thing it does work for the majority, plus generally their is a high standard to define a sequel in a series from it's franchise. You CAN expect and that's what it'll stay because chance are it's not going to live up to that standard, but that's ok . Main point is "don't get your hopes up", even it's not vastly different from it's formers, it can still be a great entry in the series in it's own rights.Tip: Have you've seen the issues with GTA V multiplayer? 5 years didn't help it.
gee I wonder if the enemies have brains in this game. All the devs seem to be worried about is spectacle and pretty fighting Edward animations.
They should make one set up during the Industrial Revolution in London.
It could contain some steam-punk element.
Hope this one doesn't get underrated like AC3. I already had 2 this year and I don't want another one.
This game is amazing!
It's been like that with every AC since ACB. Not surprising at all.
I wouldn't create too much hype for this, honestly... we all know how that went for Assassin's Creed 3.
Damn! A couple of times watching this video I was like "Is this a movie??" I kno they're cutscenes but they look SO REAL!
great stuff!!
I bought ac3 off the steam sale and still have yet to even play it..... I think now might be a good time.
No wonder this doesn't feel like an AC game. Most of the guys who made it are new to the brand.
Love that song!!!!
The next one should be the story of achiles and how he ended up in the mansion and then the 1910 assassin
by villain i hope you mean haytham, edward was haytham's father, which also makes him connors grandfather
I Love this soundtrack
im not gonna lie, I wish this assassin believed more in the creed then just using it for personal gain but its still gonna be a sick game
that's good, he is not supposed to be happy or sad or social able, he is supposed to be dark, quiet, not like ezio who never done anything like that, he did not take things seriously but connor did
they could never have a modern day game because the appeal of ac has always been the historical aspect and how the assassins and Templars affected and changed history, they did pirates because they had the naval from ac3 and wanted to do a prequel to ac3 and the closest" era " to that was the pirate era
