What I liked the best as I'm walking through the frontier and I see two cubs playing and having fun and then momma bear comes in to protect her young. So much interaction in this game makes it more believable. :) Or even watching two Bucks go at it with each other, and then killing them for their skin. 8D
Lol, skin those cubs. You will earn profit much than affection for them.
To the Assassin's Creed 3 Team, I wanna say Congrats on making such an excellent game for us. I hope to see more. Great job guys.
i know its amazing how big the've made the frontier and all the detaill thats gone into it i can just see myself wandering around for hours soaking up every bit of it

I like the way they say they don't force the player to play super stealth although all the shitty optional objectives crap made you play stealth in nearly all the missions.
those simple magic moment things are a nice touch
I heard that while you upgrade your Homestead (the Assassin base of AC3), random people will start businesses nearby. One of these businesses includes a tailor. So yes, it seems you can customize Connor's clothes. I also heard you can buy new outfits from the tailors and not just new dyes.

Yeah,I did.I also watched this demo where Connor takes down a British fort by blowing up the gunpowder storage room and putting down the British flag and another one where you see the full cutscene of Connors Promise video.In that cutscene Connors mentor gives him the ropedart and mentions Shao Jun.
Looks great, one of my most anticipated games this year along with Farcry 3.

At 1:43 the water and the huge cliff looks exactly like the first episode of season two of teen wolf when Jackson comes out of the water before it shows Scott running through the woods. If you watch the show you know what I'm talking about
It's amazing how much work was put into this game, i don't think people in general realise how much time and effort goes into making a decent video game

that dude with the musket is Ubisoft's on staff historian, he's an expert on the revolutionary war whose sole job is to make sure that the history is relevant and accurately portrayed.
Ah glad to see someone has the same idea, I'd like to know achilles story too, maybe like one of those comics

the old model was most likly him,since at the beginning of game productions its usually copy and paste while working on controls,then they usually focus on the main characters look
Connor is shown shooting the bow with either hand. They did establish him as ambidexterous, either naturally or he was trained for it. (But he hold his tomahawk in his right hand, make of that what you will.)

I don't know y people don't like Assassin's Creed III. I mean, it is excellent in every sense. It has completely revolutionized the series' old mechanics of just tailing, running, assassinating. And its story is absolutely phenomenal, and its characters more human-like, nt just in terms of graphics, but in emotions. Connor is so awesome, just cuz he makes mistakes, like every other human. The present day is on a whole new level. This game has provided really great ideas for other games to come.

I am thankful to these guys. They put in all this effort to make what is most likely going to be one of the greatest 3rd person games of all time. I'll be there on the 29th, hood, preorder blade strapped on, waiting at midnight. Who's with me?
Idk which AC3 video I watched where they explained this (believe me i've watched every single one out there) but in one of them the lead game designer Steven Masters explained he wanted realism but also a sense of fantasy where you can compete with a bear and bring it down single handedly.
Truly an amzing game, best by far in my opinion. Only thing I miss is the old HUD set up. (Health bar at the top of the screen etc.) So excited for what's next!
If I'm not wrong, the song is named Fight Club and belongs to the AC3 Soundtrack written by Lorne Balfe.

Im so glad they are really trying their best to allow players to explore in the wilderness. In the Revolutionary Era besides the huge port cities, the other part of the country was nothing else but wilderness.

Altair's attire was quite distinct when compared to the citizens around him, they wore poor ripped clothes and he wore a vivid white and shining red strips. Eventually we wan't the amazing outfit not the blending one and Connor's robes seem balanced :D

for this game to be able to process all these things is amazing and is a true feat for consoles today the way this game plays and how the engine works is truly next gen and if u actually look at the plans for next gen games the engines are similar and obviously will be better and i am looking forward to experiencing that

I think you can change colors to an extent, I've seen Conner models with Red and Blue accents on his coat but they kept the white.
I don't think so, when in the homestead you will have your hood down but not anywhere else. Like how Ezio never had his hood on when he was around Sofia in AC: Revelations. It's iconic for the Assassin's to have big menacing hoods.
Everyone has to admit that, the change from Altair to Ezio was Awesome! but they've made such a big jump from Ezio to Connor! it's going tooo beee soooo sickk! :)
There is a Uplay unlock for Ezio's Brotherhood outift in AC3. But I think that was early production video.

AC 2 was "Oh my god", I was in shock for about an hour and a half after I finished it... I read all the codex pages and they're pure philosophy! I thought "maybe this is real" "maybe someone wants to show me something through this game". Srsly AC II was the best game I've ever played
my teacher told me about the Assassins. they were a group that performed political assassinations in the middle ages in the middle east, much like the setting of the first assassin's creed game. They get their name from their use of the drug "Hashish," leading them to be called Hashishin by their enemies, which would be translated as Assassin, which becomes the word we use now for anyone who performs political assassinations.

games are getting more and more ambitious all the time, It really is amazing
30 hours of story missions. It's an open-world game, and there's many other things to do. The frontier is massive, Boston and New York will be big. It's basically an Assassin's Creed, mixed with Skyrim.
Got mine pre-ordered on Day 1 Digital PS Store. So I'm just waiting 20 more days to put it to download as soon as its up and then wake up 6 hours later and play it like it was my Xmas gift that Santa left on my PS3 HDD.
no you cant, in a community interview held buy best buy, gabe graziani (community manager) said that connor only takes his hood off when he feels safe eg. frontier, basically anywhere we he isnt at risk of attack by enemies. just thought id clear it up cos a lot of people have been asking and i wish it were true that you could, cos i think itd be sick too.

... You've just encountered CONNER in the tall grass, CONNER uses stealth assassinate... IT'S SUPER EFFECTIVE!
Expect a GRAND adventure. It will not start off fast, but the Plot turns itself into a waction-pack Assassin story
It'll be cool if some point in the game they talk about the legendary master assassins: EZIO and ALTIAR

Maybe they could. But leaves are small textures that there's alot of. When you walk around in a forest there's thousands or even more of these small textures. I don't think you need to put much more detail on leaves to make a huge difference to your graphics card.
If you look to the left, under the paw, you can see the "fish" that TheHeymore is talking about. It is not a fish, it is America.
Yes... but the "fish" under the paw on the left is a picture of America, and I'm guessing when you select it, it will bring up a map of Boston/New York and possible other cities. No one is talking about the Hunting map.
I'd say they respawn like the guards in previous games. Pretty much, by the time you go from one end of the Frontier and back, the animals you killed in your original place will probably have respawned :)

They should put a Sasquatch or a Chupacabra in the wild just for the hell of it. It'll make the wilderness more worthwhile to explore.
