thanks for making such great series.we love your work.
I LOVE Ashraf Ismael as a Director, you can see he loves the series and is so proud of his baby, and at the same point doesn't want it to let anyone's expectations down. Him saying it was a hard thing to swallow loading times in cities, really makes me think he's on our side, and that's something you don't see alot
Thankfully the load times on current gen are pretty fast, it doesn't take long at all to load the cities
You all are very hard working peoples..you all are awesome
SONG NAME: Brian Tyler-Lay Aboard Lads
Still playing this GOAT in ‘24! 💪🏼
Oh man, this looks so good!
I love this video series! I was so excited when I saw part one because I loved it when they did this on Assassin's Creed 3.
im so pumped to play this game
Looks soo good
The music is just EPIC!
Getting next gen version of this! Cant wait!
I don't know who was the one who came out with the idea of making a game about an Assassins creed who killed tyrants politicians or kings around the globe through different periods of history.... But whoever came out with it was a GENIUS!!! Because this is a game you can set at any time in history to keep it interesting and fun
What I understood is that the cities aren't the only major places in the game. It's supposed to be very sandbox-y and open world with plantations, islands, hideouts, ruins, etc. sort of mini cities, scattered all over the map, but because there are 3 main cities as well there has to be some loading time when you enter them
Just under 3 weeks, I cant wait!
I'm just getting more and more hyped for this game. I love the AC series and I'll play it to the end.
This game is brilliant so nice because the worlds so open
2:06 randomly floating guy on the ship
one thing i didn't like about ac iv is that there's too many sharks when you dive down the ocean.. i never really got to enjoy the scenery cause the sharks are always constantly watching and i always have to keep moving.. cant even enjoy the view for one second.. especially the one with the whale >_>
the pages, from the almanacs, you had to collect in AC3 once u got a volume collected, it gave you a recipe for an artifact that you can create, i believe
oh my dreams are actually coming true :')
when mike TIEGS said "you stay in the same area" I think he meant that you are navigating a huge single plane with the same physics throughout. In AC4 you're going to be going back and forth between naval and foot. as many say, the naval portion of AC is like a different game. It has its own set of physics and mechanics. sure, you can go in the water in GTA, but the complexity of the vehicles and the amount of physics in the water is completely different.
Aaahhhhh i cant wait for this game.
Can't wait for this and bf4
i can wait to play this game
Since you have been a "die-hard" AC fan since the inception of the series then you would know that the first game didn't say to you "the Templars are bad" because every time you killed a Templar they made you think about what you did and their true motives. During Ezio's Trilogy was when this idea of "The Templars ideals are bad" was introduced. But AC3 did a GREAT job of showing the templars as another side of the coin instead of the bad people, just like the first game. I hope AC4 is like this
The dev gameplay renderings always look 50 times better than actual gameplay.
Can't wait
Finally I can watch this my mobile wasn't letting me until a updat
THANK YOU AC for releasing on all systems!
I can't wait
because in gta5 they use the same map and the wave patterns are pre-programmed. in this they said the waves are dynamic, so they'll never be the same and it'd be near impossible to sync those between more than 2 people
optional objectives are awesome and are the real challenge for the game. i had managed to do all the optional objectives in the game and had completed the game 96%.
will the map still be on the wiiu gamepad because that was awesome feature to ac3 on the wiiu.
When i first heard the game was in the Caribbean, my thought of area was the entire sea
From Central America to the Leeward and Windward Islands and the top of South America to the southern United States (Sid Meier's Pirates)
But the size of the map in game is excellent
It's really hard to say for sure. You would think they'd be able to do that, but imagine all the other systems they have running. Or perhaps their team was so dedicated on other parts of the game? That may not have been something they had concentrated heavily on because it's what they have always done to have cities load. They seem to be moving more towards a seamless world so I would imagine in the future that to be the case.
I personally love the direction this is going, the pirate theme is great. The open caribbean world looks amazing & a joy' to explore its definitely on my wish-list. but right now.. I'm just hoping it looks awesome on curren't gen.
i was wondering when this would be uploaded so thanks but im still wondering if this game the mission will be more like AC2 were you can decide how to kill the target VS AC3 were your basically told to kill them a certain way and how then it skips to a cut scene -_-
I guess I will check it out for real when it is released
Just gotta wait another 3 weeks
Best game Ever!
i so agree with you here, we all want a challenge
yes that was it, he mentioned or promised being able to go to a city, jump on your ship, navigate, take over another ship and go to another island to be dropped off as well "seamlessly"!
i cant believe this is being reverted!
The haytham fight was awesome and the charles lee was too.
Yeah I guess. Either way I'm buying it day one and upgrading to ps4 later LOL!!! I can't freakin wait!!! Ever since seeing and playing the naval gameplay in ac3 I've wanted them to make this and super stoked they did!!! Only ten more days till I'm looting and pillaging in the Caribbean!!!!
02:09 right conner of the screen, dude just casually standing on ropes
Is this one going to have a little more replayibility than the previous ones?
Respect ..
There were 5 different updates. I can detail alot of bugs that pissed me off. One was the upgrade for holding a second pistol. the thing that happened was i equiped the double barreled pistol so i could pull of 4 shots, but after a fast travel the guns were replaced by the pitcarn-putnum pistol. Boston city has a huge frame rate dip. Multiplayer also had its fair share of bugs as well. I'm not the only one who faced these. Alot of people have as well.
wow this new AC is amazing so cool game i must play
The way I understand it from this video or the previous one (I don't remember where they said it), is that they wanted to go back to AC 1 for that, where they only said kill that guy and they let you decide how to do it.
I really hope Connors story will continue
The openness that they're talking about is really appealing. One of my biggest problems with AC3 and Revelations was how linear everything was. Hopefully the level design supports multiple playstyles.
I remember that too actually. Earlier in the year, he said something about being able to 'seamlessly' go from one place to another. Ahhh well... As long as AC4 runs smoothly with minor hiccups (unlike AC3)... i'll be fine with it.
Anyone notice the glitch at 2:07 with the guy standing in mid-air in this
That's one badass beard for the associate.
Awsome!!!!!!!!!!!
oops did I say brotherhood? I meant revelations lol, I don't think they knew it was going to be a future failure but they said that they took the best part of ac3 which was the naval combat, since a lot of people loved that part and they improved it in every single way they could think of, anyway I agree ac4 was a great game
-if you like heavy plot and historical conspiracies go AC1. Most things though arent revealed so u may end the game a bit puzzled and sometimes repetitive gameplay
-AC2 if you like the above but at different era and more of the story revealed at large and this is one reason why the game is so acclaimed. character development is great. Follow with Brotherhood and Revelations to fully understand EVERYTHING.
3) AC3 has a summary of events as soon as you start the game. final of the trilogy.
didnt the optionals begin wth Brotherhood? i remember I had to extra things to get 100% on almost every mission.
Really it is releasing that soon? AWESOME~
The game sounds interesting. But will the misions be good? Will there be more of variety and less errand running?
If they said years ago that there would be a Pirate themed AC, I would have been pissed. Now that we can see it, it looks damn fine, so long as they can pull it off that it. AC and Pirates seem to gel together quite nicely tbqh
Two more weeks!
YES!
There is an achievement called By the Books, and says "Complete 100% of all main mission constraints." So i guess they are back...
I agree, i loved its dense plot, and parallel storylines under a huge conspiracy umbrella. and the idea to be an kick-ass assassin was the hooker
then to learn you are replaying history or close to it ooooomg
I love the soundtrack. :)
They should've make an AC gane set in the japanese edo era where u play as a ninja assassin. Hell, the katana would be a great weapon, as well as throwing shurikens at people's face. Japanese forts and castles are filled with booby traps too, n its gonna be a challenge for the free running system too, say if u tripped on a wire and then the floor starts to collapse n ure forced to run. Also, the sekigahara war would be a great war setting too.
does anyone know the name of the music at 0:50
Want this game so bad
yes i know how you feel, its what i've been asking for since ACB, but the thing that this time is really optional,,i've seen demos where people ignore optional shit and the game does not punish you for not doing them like in previous game, flashing in red letters, it just vanishes...so no 100% synch
I wonder if there will be a Montreal Easter egg again
This is going to be a good game.
sand box is the "true" open world game where you can do whatever you want with minimal limitations by the game mechanics or missions. One of them mentioned that you can kill anyone in anyway you want, no matter what, the game will let you do it, etc
Dat Sigur Ros at the beginning
Thanks. Yea, I know Mass Effect isnt open world, but its has a little bit of freedom with choices and individual experiences are different.
I like this game
The next one will be AC 5: In Spaaaacccceee!
I think it was a compliment.
9:33 what kind of sea creature is that ?!?
It is massive
Looks like you would need the Jackdaw to handle it, not just the whaling boat
lol not just him. all the other ones aren't leaning with the boat at all. But that's fine with them, they are magically not gonna fall overboard.
initially i overlooked this game but this makes me want to get it with the ps4 day one, decisions...
take into consideration in tracking the many storylines that are parallel and this game's story is AMAZING.
I am a completionist so I would go with the first one, but u wont really go WOW until its end, and through AC2 it climaxes especially if you like historical facts turned into fictional play and conspiracies ala Davinci Code, etc.
AC3 was great too but didnt have the same essence the othet two had plus there wasnt much left to reveal to keep story interesting except finishing the trilogy.
It's only the big cities that need the load but the game is amazing never the less
Did I misunderstand something? I recall them for months praising the ability to "seamlessly" go from a city to your ship and sail the ocean. Did I understand him wrong in this video, or have they now changed that? I was really looking forward to that...
@Sean Andrews
For a Current-gen game GTA 5 is the only openworld game with Realistic Lightings and Also Sun Haze,it was impossible to do that but Rockstar succeeded in doing it,IGN and other reviewers called it a "Pinnacle of Current-gen" that why GTA Online crashed because the Singleplayer already pushes the Limit and it couldnt take it anymore then imagine GTA 6 in next gen,it would be unspeakable
I have completed many times this game..
Is the game footage from a 360?
3:04 Glorious beard
BEST AC GAME EVER
Ubisoft is so amazing can't wait for this !!
متا يكون موعد نزوله في سعوديه بتحديد
Will it still run well in current gen?
Why does it say in the description that this is the first open world Assassin's Creed. All games were open world but I felt that this game had more freedom in terms of exploration.
lol dude floating at 2:05
It was shown in an AC4 gameplay. I'm guessing it's the same way as Ezio did it? It's got more of a fluid animation this time. Edward pushes the bodies down onto the floor after stabbing them c:
2:05 You see the guy at the upper right corner? HAHAH XD
I like this game. Is the best.
keep doing it.
I wont to play like this in new style.
keep developing.
so armor is back in the game?
I had huge expectations for this game and I gotta say it didn't disappoint. I got it on ps3 and played about halfway through before buying it on my gaming pc. It's stupid how much better it looks on pc :P
