It’s the beautiful trees… that enhance the beauty of any outdoor space. The more beauitul lush trees, the more bucolic.
Of the many recorded strolls through Forest Hills Gardens, none is quite as peaceful and idyllic as this one. An exquisite invitation to this oft hidden, verdant "village." Stunning homes along bucolic and soulful paths -- all laced with lush greenery. Une sorte de symphonie pastorale !

you know why this community is called Forest Hills, because the trees are massive and gorgeous, but look at The trunks of the trees along the road they’re huge… Amazing …so beautiful
Sadly, a lot of these trees are getting very old and are cut down for various reasons, such as if they are at risk of falling over and hitting someone’s house. Others were knocked down during storms. The one in front of my house was replaced with a new tree a while back.😢

I have lived in forest hills for 40 years. Here is the reality: crime is definitely up. Many of the shop keepers have been robbed. Cars get stolen all the time. Shop keepers do not keep their streets clean. People who do not live here litter. I recently saw a man relieve himself in broad daylight on the side of the Catholic church. You can no longer take a leisurely stroll through the gardens area. It is not safe. Forest Hills used to be a Utopia when I moved here. Today it is no longer the case. Real Estate Agents are overdeveloping the area. Long lines for basic services. It is not a fairytale.
