Seeing lots of comments on my white shoes! 😂 I promise those were my yard shoes, and were super old and trash! I have about a million pairs of those cheap 9.99 shoes from Walmart! They are my fave! So comfy! LOL
I think I'll go to Walmart tomorrow! Lol I was cringing from all that dirt but I know how it is.
Now it's time to relax and enjoy!

Jet wash them, then throw in the washing machine, they clean up fine for the next time, I always jet wash barefooted but I don’t think you could have there! Great job, I love the bulkiness of your furniture, it looks super comfy!
I have said this before and I WILL say it again, the work that you are doing, the effort that it takes to spend ZERO dollars, and use what you have is HUGE!! I liked the way you arranged the furniture a lot better the first time. It looks more cohesive and charming. Putting the sofa against the wall with the power boxes brings attention to them. I adore you, just my opinion. I’m completely on my own. My husband unexpectedly passed away a couple of months ago. I SO understand how hard it is to do things without a man’s strength and help. I agree with you, I liked the way she arranged her furnishings the first time.
I know how you feel and Im so sorry for your loss. My husband died 20 yrs. ago when I was 52 and although I did most of the yard work and fix it things its just so much nicer to have a little muscle help now and then. Im trying to de- grass and de-weed my brick patio and it takes all my energy to do just part of it at a time. God bless women and their grit to just do it!
My husband too passed, last year we had floods in mi. My lower level flooded and all the attention was fixing and replacing everything. Thank God I was not displaced from my home. However, this year I struggled with the upkeep of both inside and outside. We have a huge paver driveway which had so many weeds too. I did what you did and sprayed them first, then I washed all the sand out of the pavers and reSANDED them. It took 12 bags of 40 # per a sand. It took me 22 hours, I had help with the last 2 hours helping me move the bags. You should be very proud of yourself with this huge accomplishment. I know I’m proud of myself. 73 years old and not stopping. LOL. I DID HAVE TO GO TO THE CHIROPRACTOR YESTERDAY.
Beautiful patio, & I love the way you stress that we don’t need to buy new stuff in order to be happy with our house & yard. We don’t need to rush out to Target (& we shouldn’t, really) every time we want to create a nice space in our house or yard. “Consumer therapy” lasts about 10 minutes but costs us much more-$$$$$. You are the Guru of “Be happy with what you already have!” Thank you so much! ❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰

Pour Morton Salt on patio once a week for a month and it will kills all weeds by changing the soil content.

Level 10. I did the same kind of work on our stepping stones walkway earlier this summer. I laid down pea gravel between the stones. It did me in...I was in bed the next day down in my back. God bless you! It’s hard work. Your transformation is awesome! It looks amazing!

Leslie, I just watched this video and now those pesky weeds are probably back a year later! Here’s a tip from you tube gardener, Linda Vater: Weeds and grass growing in between the pavers can be eradicated by pouring boiling water on them. Linda also suggests adding small gravel in between those pavers to keep grass/weeds growing back.

Cheap table salt is great for killing weeds in between the paving stones. I do mine weekly and it's so easy as the weeds just keep on coming. Looks lovely.

I admire your hard work. I have to do a big job like that broken up in increments. I probably would have taken a week to accomplish what you did in a day! I would have had to have rest time in between lol .

I’m 57 and I’m still a work horse like this a lot outside and inside too. Once I make up my mind something needs to get done or cleaned I’m doing it from sun up to sundown. Kudos to you!! I probably would have power washed the furniture and the shed and cleaned the windows on the shed and a hundred other things as I don’t know when to stop once I get started. Can you say perfectionist? Lol. I will go all day without eating or taking breaks and work until exhaustion. It’s great exercise and that hard work feels so rewarding even when you can’t walk or move the next day. Ha. I also liked the furniture the first way in the middle. Now enjoy with a mango or watermelon margarita. 😉🍸🕔
Great video for me. We have spent a ton on remodeling our house the last year. We redid our yard along with the shed and our house. All that to say I am now tackling a makeover on my small sunroom. I do not want to spend more than 60 dollars. I have shopped my house and painted furniture. It is not all the greatest but it is so much better. Do what you can when you can. I refuse to spend a lot on this room. At this point I bought a 6 dollar pillow. Lol

You did a great job and your furniture and cushions look brand new. I liked ur first setup where the electrical wasn't behind ur sofa. Great job!!

Hi Leslie, I am still catching up on your videos and love each and every one of them. Jason is so cute popping in and giving us that cute smile of his....he's a special man for sure!!! I pray for him every day and you too my dear. Leslie, I like the first seating arrangement the most, the way you laid it out with the seating facing each other and it was away from the back of the house near the power box.....but either way is great. OMG DEAR HARD WORKING WOMAN!!! One word for you!!! DEMINSION!!! I have written you before and told you we are in the nursery biz. Deminsion is a spreadable granular weed preventer that you would spread on your patio sometime in March - April, and again May, July. We have much the same patio floor, and I don't have to go through near the work I have just seen you do. Also, you may have crab grass, so the crab grass preventer might be a good to put down --- husband says here in KC, March 15th.
Please do this next year so you don't have to work so hard next year, and just sit out and enjoy your patio. Melody SMOOCH!!!

While I do like seeing a new haul of accessories, watching the evolution of that patio area become so much more organized was a pleasure to watch. I cannot imagine the energy that it took to accomplish that order.

LOL your man just plunking that chair down...looks like he's sooooo ready for the patio to be done! :) I have neglected so many things around my beloved home (a bad relationship will do that!), so this summer I started doing things around my precious historic cottage that have been either put off for far too long or never pursued because the former other occupant of my home would interfere in some way-and one of my first projects was working on my savage gardens and abused patio. Just by pulling the weeds out of the cracks and edging the patio's borders (the patio is brick pavers), it already looks nicer! Adding a little bistro set I have, putting out some outdoor metal furnishings that had been in the shed for years (yes, years!) and purchasing some cute seat covers at Dollar Tree have made my patio more welcoming than it has been for many years. I also had a little metal fire pit, but that will have to wait for the burn ban to be lifted! :) Your patio makeover is neat, and you have a new subscriber!

Just moved to Delaware from Long Island and want to make some kind of Flagstone patio in the backyard and you gave me great inspiration... and you're right! Once the stones are laid all I have to do is shop my garage from what I had the movers bring in the move!!! Maybe I'll splurge on a new pillow!
