I tried my best to get Jason to do an update! The problem is, he always says he's fine! He's not noticing when things aren't going so well, and I don't have the heart to tell him like I use to! So he thinks he doesn't have anything to update. We have one foot in a world of normal and one foot in a world of crazy! Makes things very unpredictable! He can still "showtime" but not for as long as before and not as well! The test I'm referring too in this video is an upper and lower GI. Jason has been vomiting now for quite sometime. It can be everyday, sometimes multiple times a day. Although that has calmed down a bit. Thank goodness! Continued prayers would be appreciated, and to those of you that don't follow Jason's story, I'm happy to have you here for decorating, etc! It means the world to me, and helps me stay home with him! Thank you again!

I have a tree-topper suggestion! I've been using a giant ribbon bow with several long streamers that hang about 2/3 of the way down the tree, and can be woven throughout the branches. Could be a super elegant look!

He kept his sense of humor pretty well until very last...most of the time I could be by his side to walk & talk him through the rough parts..I am happy he now is on his vacation in heaven pain & trouble free, until we meet again.

I feel so distressed when I see someone so young with everything in front of him and he’s drifting away inch by inch. He is so lucky to have you because it’s a hard job even though it’s a task of love it’s still so hard. It’s bad enough when old people have this, like my mother, but so incredibly unfair when it strikes a young person. Sending my best of wishes for joy through the challenges.

I've been making pumpkins out of my quilting material that I had for fall and giving some to friends. Thanks for showing us that. I thought for sure Mr.Bones was going to take a spill with the mixer and all. Laughing my butt off when you called him rude. Glad to see you taking short trips out fo the house once in a while. Leslie I really admire you and Jason and your candor discussing everything you are experiencing. I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease 13 years ago and my husband of 50 years is my caregiver. We met in college in 1969. So glad to know that a GI appointment was scheduled. I have been diagnosed with gastroparesis. Food would sit in my stomach too long then not move through the intestines for days. Lots of vomiting. This is a Stage 5 symptom. Low residue diet and medicines are working. I subscribed to your TH-cam site so I should be more timely with your family journey and will keep you and Jason in my prayers.

I did not want to leave a comment on the other videos, because when I heard that you were receiving negative comments, it really angered me, that people could be so insensitive. It took a lot of courage to share your story and I am sure someone somewhere, going through this same journey is very grateful that you did. I just want to say, THE LOVE YOU EACH HAVE FOR EACH OTHER, is obviously the greatest blessing between you. I pray that it will carry you through this journey ALWAYS. No need to address those selfish, inconsiderate, soulless people, they can't hear you, but those with God's ears can. Keep loving each other, as I am certain you will. THANK YOU for showing a hair tutorial 🥰 Our hair is very very similar. I am in Texas so the humidity can be a good but also a bad thing. I can’t believe how fast it curled your hair so I have to know what brand that was and what size barrel so I can do that. Im sure you do this to make the extra money to be at home with Jason but please take care of you too. The buttermilk pie looked awesome!! I know God is with you and gives you strength for this road he has allowed in your lives. If Jason doesn’t want to be on video I would not force him anymore. I can only imagine how hard this is on him too sharing all this with strangers. Consider doing videos for your own memories for you and your family but you don’t need to share them with us. Praying for you and Jason. Life is hard. ❤️🎚

I am a caregiver as well, and I'm also disabled. As you know, caregiving is a 24/7 job, and it's tough! I'm working on making sure I don't forget about myself. So important to treat ourselves every so often. Like even your fav Starbucks drink! My goal for October is to get a foot massage at a nearby massage place. 💚

some great ideas your outfit is so pretty Jason is so strong and inspiring my daddy is in hospice he too says i’m fine doing great yet we hear his sadness and see the changes but we just act normal to give him some happiness as a counsellor said he is on a journey no one can go on or live for him 😔you just have to be that shoulder that rock through the rough days

I use minced onion in almost every dish I make. I also use regular onion but add the minced because it gives a texture and flavor I love.
