      @@abhisheksathe123 100% correct. No matter how good we are. We must take safety as one of the highest priority.
      What's the use of all our efforts. If we can't protect ourselves from future accidents or mistakes.
      Calculated Risk is a must. Like Sir mentioned in the video.

    This is extremely rare. Communication gap between the lifter and the spotter is the biggest culprit here. He needed to ask the spotter to keep his arms ready near the ribcage and help him assisting by grabbing his body. Grabbing the bar is no way to assist in case of failures of heavy singles.

    @tuhinbarua4529 ปีที่แล้ว +11

    Each and every piece of advice is on the point, sir. I am doing gym for the past 5 years and played in state powerlifting and weightlifting but till now I didn't have had any major injuries because I always do a proper warmup and stretching diet before and after the workout. currently, in most of the gyms new beginners don't give any importance to warming up and diet but they are ready to take pre-workout, creatine, and weight gainers different types of substances to gain fast.

    • @zackryan268
      @zackryan268 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes true. Just to add to what you said, these newbies want to gain muscles fast without going through the process. They just want 6 packs for insta and getting likes. They take certain substances and abuse their body in their desire to build an asthetic/muscular physique. But what they forget is even though you can handle more weight and build muscles quickly being on gear, your tendons and tissues have not yet matured to handle that weight. So externally while you may have the strength to lift those heavy weights but internally your joints and adjacent tendons are prone to injury. So always develop strength first naturally by lifting heavy for min. 5 years or so before switching to gear. But it doesn't make sense if you don't compete on a professional level. It's just not worth it. You'll end up doing more damage than good.

  • @JBOXHANI
    @JBOXHANI ปีที่แล้ว

    Great video sir.., Few things I noted and wanted to say... 1) Knee wraps are not allowed in raw powerlifting competition 2) the person didn't die due to not having a belt or lack of valsava maneur... He was not squatting in a squat rack... Had he done that, he would be alive. I'm still happy you addressed these points for general safety while squatting.. but I believe that belts are not necessary for lifting... I use a belt but I know of people who could lift heavy without belt for years and have no injury(correct me if I am wrong) 3) I believe that the spotting itself was a mistake.. 4) Most gyms still don't have a power rack and are fully crowded and equipped that we can't throw the weights back which is so terrible..

    • @JBOXHANI
      @JBOXHANI ปีที่แล้ว

      5) and there is more to bracing than breathing and tightening the belt which I understand, couldn't be explained in the context of this video

    Today, go to gym, load barbell and practice throwing backward and escaping from the bottom. Medium weight should be enough. Similarly, go load up barbell for benchpress and do not put locks. If you fail. Simply bring it to your chest. And lift from one side. Plates will slip but be ready for quick barbell snap. In terms of deadlift. Never use straps. They give a false sense of strength and make you round the back. Use hook grip instead. I have always lifted heavy and always lifted alone. Never lift to show off and be relaxed. Peace.

Exactly the same thing was that. Only one of my gym partner was there to support me. But he couldn't do nothing. It was so dangerous situation for me. After that incident, I rekaxed for 5 minutes and again performed that set with same weight.

    Please sir can you make a separate vedio about evolution of homins and homo sapiens. And why humans are considered are the puniest of the apes? And why we were incredibly weaker than all primates and are we evolved to be weak. Is human body so fragile? What is our history and what are our physical abilities? How did we become so dominant even though humans have extremely fragile body and lowest and puniest body and zero speed compared to other animals. And there were many species which was super intelligent ex. Neanderthals who were not only incredibly powerful but they had highly developed brains but they got extinct. And some say that we humans have brain with zero physical abilities naturally. And is it true that humans are weaker than smallest primates? How our muscles tend to be absolutely subtle. And we even managed to surpass Neanderthals who were superior in both ways physically and mentally. One big question. Are we evolved for weakness
