    When I had zero knowledge about exercise, once I got soreness in my abs(lasted for 4 days). I thought it's a pain, then I went to doctor physician suggested me painkillers.
    Now I m shocked even doctors don't know about it.

    hats off to your research and conclusion on this topic. I bet theres no information available on this particular topic and your explaination is very good. thanks. now i can go to gym everyday. i was really confused how many days i should take break from my workout due to muscle soreness and was afraid of interupting the recovery process of my sore muscle.
    now in my own experience i used to workout daily and had good muscle and strength gain and i also liked the muscle soreness. But Due to a Lot OF TH-cam Experts Recommendations that going to gym only thrice a week is more benificial i followed it stupidly, i was really missing my daily workout. and now i can continue what i used to do. thanks to your reasearch based video information.

      @sahil deswal you have to go for progressive overload and/or cause metabolic stress. Example if you were doing 6reps bicep curls at 20kg now do 12-15reps of 10kgs Or do drop sets or do slow reps (take 2-3 sec for the eccentric part of each rep with heavy weights) ... Keep changing the rep range, weight, exercises and methods form time to time (every month or two). All this combined with high intensity will always cause pain.

    Doms is specifically happens due to new exercise bcz of new exercises demand different muscle fibers to activate..
    Continuous same exercise give time to your brain to make a pattern to use specific muscle fibers.. but new exercise needs time to adapt to your brain.. and brain by instinc uses less unused fibers to make the performance.. new muscle fibers are not ready for that type of pressure.. thats why they break and eventually creat doms

    DOMS is very demotivating for beginners like me.
    Especially me.
    Every time I join gym and get demotivated because of muscle soreness and leave it. This is third time I am giving a try.
    I hate muscle soreness.
    My point is what I did in Gym should end with gym. But it is not happening like that. It is coming like ghost with me to make me inconvenient in the remaining time.

      Try foam rolling after your workout sessions and start your workout after atleast 15 mins of warmup

      So gathered all such points.
      * Proper protein intake.
      * Some protein from food even though I had protein powder.
      * Omega 3s.
      * Some food which also includes vitamins and minerals.
      * Some supplements.
      * Foam roll. (Many youtubers stressed it and you also mentioned it. Thanks.)
      * Everybody said warmup, but nobody mentioned how much time. You said 15 min. May be I will make it 25 or 30 to be sure.
      * Some people suggested cold bath after workout. But again some are saying research suggests it is of no use.
      This time I have to win over this.

    On one hand you are saying we shouldn't take antioxidants after workout because it reduces the inflammation and on the other hand you are saying turmeric is helpful in muscle soreness because it is anti-inflammatory. So my point is why we need turmeric?

    Mere sath ulta hota hai sorness hotey huwe jab mai exercise karta hu too next day soreness kaam ho jata hai. And I also believe massage helps to reduce soreness.

      first check ur vitamin d
      next, show to doctor for any major issue and third is strength training only to strengthen it

    Sir aapne kaha hai ki DOMS me anti inflammatory supplement use nhi krna chahiye
    Lkin turmeric ko bhi aapne ek acha anti inflammatory herb btaya hai
    toh phir agar turmeric bhi anti inflammatory hai to SORENESS me kese use kr sakte hai
    Sir ye confusion hai

      And supplements not to be used immediately post workout

    I did over workout and pulled dumbles...now i can't move my right shoulder...is it the reason and is it the soreness.I suffer around 1 week and it's getting more painfull day by day.???
